I am 5'10, size 12/14 and pear shaped. I ordered these in size L. Leg length was good, however, I thought it was funny that they were very loose so I checked inside the pants and the inside tag said XL but the hang tag said L. They were baggy so I returned them. As far as the pants themselves go, they are made from standard sweat pant material. The stripes down the side are sewn on but the bottom part below the stripe is an iron on design. There is also a Candance Parker insignia on the front (which is not visible in the pictures) that is an iron on. The waist tie is very thick and substantial. Overall, they are OK but you can find sweat pants just as good for a lower price.

The color is popping on with matching shirt and shoes.
