The Y-3 GENDO BOOT takes one of Y-3's most advanced and daring Y-3 profiles to date and elevates it even further with a boot silhouette. Designed with a fully hollow space in the midsole, they take to heart a philosophical Japanese concept called Ma, which explores how a pause in time or negative space can generate beauty in a way that isn't absent of anything at all, in the end. The bold expression contrasts with cues from the adidas Pro Model shoes, executed in smooth, premium leather with a high-cut silhouette and full-zip closure. Yohji Yamamoto's signature signs off as a final touch.
