These pants fit great (standard tapered fit), but to call them hiking or trekking pants would be an overstatement. They are made of some cheap, thin, synthetic material. They almost feel like dress pants, but the cheap kind you'd get from a Macy's sale. For $100 I absolutely can NOT RECOMMEND. Maybe on a sale for 35% off. They are best for a light casual spring/summer trek, but far from what you'd expect from a "Terrex" branded product.
