I purchased both colors in XL, the alumina and the light blue. The light blue is a little bit longer and wider in the waist. The material is good quality and lightweight. I love the mostly (95%) cotton material. I am an older female and am 5'2" and 100 lbs, 27" waist and 35" hips and these fit me like a glove and are very comfortable. They are a little bit too short for me but that is okay as I will mostly wear them around my house or out and about with sandals on. I really like these.
