I own a few SST matched sets and was excited to get a blacked out suit, however, when I tried these mixed material items on I was disappointed. I had high hopes for this black/black combination and will have to wait until Adidas releases all black suit regular material SST suit. Fit: I wear a size small in regular SST pants. The mixed material pants fit tighter, a more slim fit. I didn’t like the placement of the mixed material panels as the seam that connects the two material panels together is positioned right over the middle of the leg (there is no seam in the regular SST pants). So if I squat down the seam is pulled over the top of my kneecap and rubs. Look and Feel: In the product photos the new material combined with the regular material used for SST items looked great, but in reality it feels like a thin windbreaker material and out of the packaging it shows a lot of creases. When I took the jacket and pants out of the packaging, my initial reaction was it looks and feels cheap. The regular material used for SST items looks great, smooth to the touch and drapes well on the body. This new material when compared side to side with the regular material is a stark contrast to the eye, as it is more rigid, feels thin when touched and doesn’t drape well due to the structure of the fabric.
