GRANDEZA: THE ESSENCE THAT CONNECTS IT ALL
Grandeza is the beating heart of Real Madrid. It’s a feeling, a spirit that inhabits everything from the grass at Bernabéu to the water in the fountain at Plaza de Cibeles. From the gasps and cheers of countless fans around the world to the design of the team jerseys that they (and the players!) proudly wear on their backs. Grandeza is passed on from generation to generation, fueling Real Madrid’s hopes for the future as well as its reverence for the club’s rich heritage.

NEXT-LEVEL SUSTAINABILITY
The Real Madrid community springs from the magical city of Madrid and spans the globe. The Merengues have supporters everywhere, united by an indomitable spirit and a deep sense of community and responsibility. That’s why it felt natural for Real Madrid to showcase the results of upcycling (the reuse of discarded objects or materials) as an innovative way to bring new clothes to life through creativity and perseverance. Taking the premise of recycling to the next level, upcycling is becoming a global fashion trend. And for a future-oriented club like Real Madrid, it’s a new perspective on one of their top priorities: sustainability – for soccer and for the planet.

AN INSPIRED PARTNERSHIP
Trailblazing Madrid-based designer Manuel Mourentan took Real Madrid’s Third jersey, which is already made in part with recycled materials, and completely transformed it. He developed several stunning upcycled creations that delivered higher value on a smaller environmental footprint. By joining forces with performance artist Cuentos Rosales, the duo created a unique, thought-provoking look into the future of football apparel. The result is a fashion statement like no other – sending a clear message of renewal, change and social responsibility. In one word: grandeza!
