Sustainability is a big topic these days, and your outfit was made with sustainable materials. How does it feel to wear those (sustainable) values on the court?

It’s important for me to be a role model for the future generation—on and off the court. Wearing the most sustainable collection by adidas by Stella McCartney at Wimbledon shows I’m standing up for positive change.

CAROLINE WOZNIACKI

You’ve dealt with many challenges throughout your career, and it takes a certain mindset to power through such challenges. Can you tell us more about that?

For me it’s about giving it my best every single day. I have a goal in mind, and I know what I want to accomplish and achieve. I put in the work day in and day out and hope it’s good enough to achieve the dreams I have.

How do you most remember your times at Wimbledon?

I love Wimbledon. I love the tradition, and I love the all-white. Just the history of the tournament. I think it’s an amazing event.

What’s the name of your favorite texting group?

I actually don’t do a lot of texting groups!

What are your favorite apps to use, apart from the big 4 (Twitter, IG, FB, YT)?

I love Pinterest. Because I love to look for nice pictures, interior design, fashion. Also some sports photos—everything.

Stella McCartney has been championing sustainable fashion for a long time now. How does it feel to represent the latest line of sustainable performance apparel?

It feels great! I’m always excited to wear her line. It’s super comfy and super fashionable, and most importantly, it allows me to perform at the highest level while minimizing the impact on the planet. On top of that, when I play, I feel pretty and good.

DOMINIC THIEM

How would you describe your friendship with your other fellow players on the circuit?

I get along well with almost all the players. Tennis is a good sport because you don’t have any physical contact. You don’t have to inflict any physical pain on your opponent, so I think you can build some good friendships.

How does it feel to be one of the first male tennis players to wear sports performance apparel designed by Stella McCartney?

I knew of all the other collections for women, and I was very surprised and excited that there is a men’s collection launching. adidas and Stella McCartney are changing the game with this tennis collection—both as the first for men and the most sustainable to date—and I’m really proud to wear it.

ALEXANDER ZVEREV

Can you describe the friendship you share with other players on the circuit? Who’s your ride or die friend?

Obviously, my best friend is Marcello. A lot of people know that we do everything together. My brother as well. He’s is one of my best friends. We all do a lot of things together—all different kinds of fun activities and stupid things. It’s great to have these people on tour.

You’ve been called a future number one by many fellow circuit veterans. How does it feel to carry such high expectations so early in your career?

It’s obviously great, but at the end of the day there are so many other young guys that are playing so well and improving so much—everybody is improving. Right now, I’m number three in the world, and I still have two guys ahead of me. I know I still have to work hard and still have to improve a lot of things to maybe get there one day.

What’s your favorite part of Wimbledon?

I mean there are so many. Obviously, Wimbledon is the most historic tournament that we have. The Old England Club is very special, the grass court is very special. The all whites look very nice on court. It’s a special event that everyone is looking forward to the whole year. And you know, if you play at Wimbledon, you know you’ve made it as a tennis player.

STEFANOS TSITSIPAS

How does sustainability play into your everyday life?

I definitely feel like the environment plays a huge role in my daily life as an athlete. Environmental damage is an issue we can’t afford to ignore, which is why I really like the sustainable message behind the collection and the use of bio threads and recycled fabrics. I’m 100% supportive of the eco-conscious values of adidas by Stella McCartney and am proud to be a part of it.

You have a cool vlog where you document your tennis journey. How would you feel about directing your own adidas ad if you ever had the chance?

That would be really nice to have the opportunity to work with such big brands like adidas. I would love to make videos for them in the future.
