In just a few simple steps you can join move for the planet and start making a difference: 1. Download the adidas Running app to your mobile device 2. Tap on the Community tab and go to Challenges 3. Go to the move for the planet challenge and tap Join Challenge 4. Track your activity between June 1-12 communities page for more information.
Sign-up opens on 23 May. Move for the planet starts on 1 June and ends on 12 June. Whether alone or with a friend, you can move anywhere and as often as you like. Just remember to track your activity on the adidas Running app to make every minute count! .
We want move for the planet to be a global and inclusive movement that harnesses the power of sport. Therefore, you will be able to participate by tracking any of the following activities: Running, Virtual Running, Plogging, Treadmill, Trail Running, Walking, Nordic Walking, Wheel Chairing, Strolling, Hiking, Elliptical, Tennis, Soccer, Golfing, Stair Climbing, Track & Field, Basketball, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Squash, American Football, Handball, Padel, Baseball, Beach Volleyball, Rugby, Cricket, Frisbee, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Cycling, Race Cycling, Mountain Biking, and Virtual Cycling. We strive to give you complete transparency to your personal data.
Once you are signed up for the challenge, it is easy to spread the word and get your friends involved. Just send them a direct invite link via the Share button on the adidas Running app. You can also share your activity on your socials by using #movefortheplanet.
It means that for every 10 minutes of movement that you track during move for the planet - from 1 June to 12 June - adidas will donate €1 to Common Goal for projects that educate communities on sustainability through sport – up to €1.5m.
