The new adidas All Day App

Apps rule our lives these days, from allowing us to get a ride on demand, order dinner, and even send out dry cleaning. And for the wellness-minded, apps can transform our workouts, diet, sleep hygiene, and more. There’s an app out there to track every bite you eat, every step you take, and every hour of z’s you log at night.

But there aren’t many apps that take a holistic approach to wellness, allowing you to monitor your progress but also discover new, fun ways to exercise, cook, regenerate – and improve your mindset so you can actually focus on all of the above. well look no further, that gap has now been filled as the new adidas All Day app hits app stores in the US this week.

Rather than ruling your life, though, the adidas All Day app empowers you to live your best life by inspiring balance amongst what fitness experts call the four key drivers of athletic performance: movement, nutrition, mindset, and rest. (After all, you can’t expect to get fitter if you’re not fueling your workouts properly with healthy meals and allowing your body to recover with practices such as foam rolling!) Within the adidas All Day app, you’ll find “Discoveries” – science-backed mini-guides – in each of these categories.

The new adidas All Day AppFor example, start your day with a five- to 15-minute guided meditation with the “Om Sweet Om” discovery. Then, squeeze in a full-body workout with a discovery from yoga teacher Adriene Mishler or celebrity trainer Stephen Cheuk. When you get home from work, power up adidas All Day again to get cooking with chef Candice Kumai (think: healthy and easy-to-make versions of dishes such as fish tacos, fried rice, and even pizza).

Before you put away your phone for the night, use it to wind down with a research-proven breathing exercise in the “Breathe Easy” discovery and consider queuing up a custom music mix, designed by DJ Nina Las Vegas, to help you sleep sounder.

Whether it’s the ingredients that go into your quick-but-nutrient-rich Energy Salmon Salad bowl or the poses in the “Yoga for Runners” discovery, everything in the app is rooted in science. There’s insight from The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the largest sports medicine and exercise science organization in the world, combined with practical tools from adidas’ long-standing partner EXOS, the leader in the field of human performance.

There are 13 discoveries available in the adidas All Day app already, but check back regularly for new ones which will be released every month. You can try out just one or several – adidas is offering you the tools you need to create your own custom game-plan. And every practice and routine on the app is all-inclusive: It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or pro athlete, you’ll find something to enhance your life and get you closer to your goals.

The app will be launching in other markets later in 2017.
