micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
Played with Stan Smith's then switched to Eli Nastase's which for me were the best tennis shoe I ever used. I only play in adidas tennis shoes (none of the others work for me [tried them all] as I have schlosis which impacts my bending etc. When I could no longer buy the Eli Nastase's I tried some other adidas shoes but they were just not the same. This shoe is great if you don't want to spend over $80 and if you have a high in step and wide feet. I run on air with these shoes and the are very sure footed. Your feet will thank you. I plan to buy five and store them to last the next ten years...., once six thirteen is available again.
I have bought a few pairs of these shoes (black/white and black/solar slime). I think they are the best looking barricades ever made. As is the tradition with all barricade shoes, they are like a tank. They take a beating and still stand up straight; tough outsole, probably the best. There is a lot of room in forefoot area (I have narrow feet) and they are comfortable enough. Here is the only con. I find these shoes not as flexible and comfortable as barricade 7. They are a bit on the stiff side (even after wearing them for a few months). And for those who are curious, these shoes are not micoach compatible.
Compared to the 2014 model of these shoes, I would say it runs 1/2 a size larger. The material inside of the shoes feels softer as well as the outer material since they got rid of the plastic mesh with holes that covered most of the 2014 shoe. It feels like I'm wearing running shoes when I wear them...they are very comfortable. I'm not sure if I don't make as many side to side motions or that I don't notice the stability issue compared to one reviewer...overall if a person can live with the shoe being 1/2 a size larger, I like it more than the 2014 model.
The shoes really fits my feet, I don't think it needs the break-in time. However, it may leave an issue of being loosen after playing a couple of matches No comments on the durability since I play tennis twice a week, but it could not be a problem because I have owned other pairs of Adidas shoes without any issues of durability. All in all, the classic model is classic.
Love the shoe, I'm usually a 9.5, got a 9.0, fit was perfect. Very comfortable, did not feel like wearing a boat or neither was it heavy, which was claimed by other reviews. But the color difference from the picture bothers me so much. I can take a normal orange shoe, but upon receiving the shoe, it was just WOW, it's this very bright neon orange with a tint of bright pink Grapefruit color.....
I've played tennis in running shoes for 11 years because tennis shoes always made me feel clumsy and lacking in agility. I have wasted money on shoes I've never worn on court because they inhibited movement. I bought these with trepidation but am absolutely delighted with them. They have the feel of running shoes but are durable enough to withstand the pounding they get on a hard court. They are very comfortable and fit true to size. I feel light and agile and don't even notice that I'm wearing them. I'm tempted to buy more now in case they ever go out of production. At last I look like a preoper tennis player!
I'm a 10-12 and bought the medium but probably should have bought the small as these are slghtly loose. They're a good length in that they're not too short unlike some of the tennis dresses and other tennis skorts I have seen which are fine when you're in your 20s but approaching mid-30s I'd rather not be flashing my bottom. What I particularly like about these skorts is the ball pockets as it's much nicer to have somewhere specific to keep the balls as opposed to tucking them under the shorts.
I have to admit, I dont play tennis. But I do run and the Adidas shoes I have owned in the past are put together very well. Eventually the old running shoes become my beat up walking and errand shoes. But not this time. I treated myself to this good looking shoe and I have to say they are built like a tank. A little stiff, but no pain. I did replace the insoles on all my running shoes with an aftermarket insole and I did so with these shoes too. They look good and feel good on my feet. All I need now are the tennis lessons.
Recently I lost a lot of weight and this dress was my reward. I am 5'3" and 133 lbs and the small fit me well. I like the dress design because it is classy but is long enough that my glutes were covered (not too short). It is light and easy to move in while playing singles or doubles. I received a lot of compliments on this dress which I was very grateful to hear. I hope you enjoy this dress as much as I have.
This shoe secures your feet 100% and enables you to move with confidence. It is built as an outer shell to protect your feet. Starting and stopping are excellently provided for with grip that makes you retrieve anything particularly on hardcourts.
These shorts are very comfortable. They are roomy without feeling like you are floating in them. They wick away moisture and allow you to stay dry while staying active for longer periods...and they're stylish as well.
These shorts are absolutely amazing! Extremely comfortable, they absorb and remove sweat very quickly, and are lightweight and playable. Good length too. Us juniors can be picky on the length of our shorts, but I'm 6' tall and these go down about halfway down my kneecaps, so for tennis shorts they're a very good length. I've bough many pairs of Nike and Adidas shorts in the past, but this might be my favorite yet. Very well made, fairly durable and comfortable, and good size. Couldn't ask for anything better! THANK YOU ADIDAS!
I've never purchased Adidas tennis shoes before; however, from reading all reviews about this new model and how they have improved on certain aspects of the fit, I decided that was enough to go on. Other brands that I was used to wear have been disappointing: rough around the seams at the forefront or the top rubber parts are just digging into your toes. With these main concerns in my mind, I decided to trust the SMC 2015 and give them a try. The promotional price was tempting and the additional 25% online discount was a definite push for this purchase. I needed a large size to fit my wide feet and the length for one of my toes. I could have used a 9 size, but this way, I am guaranteed to bruised toe nails. The Heel part is a little loose when I am running and is seen flopping, but I had to tighten the laces a little. Arch support is nice, which was one of my concerns since I have high arches. I have worn the shoes six times now: practices, lessons, matches: my calluses are disappearing. I usually play four times per week, including competitive matches. I am not crazy about the mint colour as it doesn't match any of my tennis outfits, but I was desperate for new shoes. I see that they now have a new model with yellow and black, now that would be a wonderful combination and suit most clothing colours. Had free shipping and received them withint two days (Ontario address). Bravo!
i bought the polo not realizing the logo and stripes were printed rather than embroidered. i will keep it, but i wish adidas would go back to embroidering the stripes and logo...i looked at some of the other lines in the collection and all are printed. i dont know why they went towards printing, i will wait a while before i buy again.
Having played tennis for in excess of 50 years, I was using a variety of polo shirts of various qualitiy, colour and style. Now, unlike my peers, I wear genuine tennis shirts and it's been a good move. They are not unreasonably priced, seem of excellent quality and ARE the right fabric in which to play sweaty tennis. Highly recommended, specially when discounted.
