Great shoe that fits well, bought these shoes as a low cost shoe to run 5km-10km on the treadmill at the gym and they have been awesome so far. They also look good, I am very happy with them and would buy them again. Jeff
So I purchased this shoe mainly for running, which has only occurred indoors as I have not been able to take them outdoors yet. Long story short- I like them. The fit is nearly perfect with regards to both width and overall size, they are really lightweight and super comfortable that it feels as if I'm walking on a cloud. The climacool technology really does work as you can literally feel the air on your feet when you're taking strides. I also really like the overall look of the shoe and it doesn't hurt that I got them at a great sale price that I could just not refuse. There are only a couple of things that I don't like about the shoe (a) the insole tends to move around fairly easily when taking the shoe off so it's something that I constantly have to adjust (b) whenever I'm putting on the shoes, they make a subtle cracking noise that I initially thought that I was breaking them. If you can look past the couple of things that I dislike then this is a great buy, even at the regular price! I would definitely recommend and will look in adidas' direction should I need to purchase another pair of runners.
The finger saves provide a ton of support to the fingers and overall back of the hand which is great. The grip on the gloves is good as well. Probably more than what I needed for just pick-up games...but still a great purchase! PS. I'm not a goalie....so I'm not too sure what exactly to look for in a good pair of glove. More than happy with these though!
I was looking for a good pair of shoes to replace my Adidas Climacool Oscillator s that I had for about 4 years, wore out, and eventually outlived their use. Sadly they don't make them anymore, so I looked into these, and eventually decided to get them. The shoes feel great, and very similar to my older shoes. It will take time to break them in as they are a bit narrow, Although if you want to buy half a size up that's on you, I just went ahead, and ordered in my normal size. Grip is decent, but I find it doesn't grip to every surface, but brick walls, and concrete which are the most improtant surfaces you are looking for work fine, and they are great in rain. It will take a bit more experimentation to figure out what other surfaces doesn't work, but if you need new shoes for training these are a good choice.
I use these shoes at the gym. They feel good on the feet and really have a nice bounce. I had been worried they might be too narrow but they are just right. Almost felt like putting on a pair of slippers. Very comfortable and light on the feet.
These shoes are awsome lol they are so comfortable. Ok my feet bake up shoes like up you wouldn't beileve and when u get these shoes you would think that they would be realy week but man they hold up good and last so long they are totaly worth your money!!! And they breath so good and I love the quick lace!! But if I get a par again I would get the GTX kind because there are lots of moments that u would won't them to be water proof .and I where them in everyday condition with nice jeans and everyone thinks they look so good . Amazing shoes I hope adidas will forever keep Makeing theses lol the end
I've been wanting a new pair of running shoes for some time; these being on sale for about $60 after discount made me bite the bullet. My order was received within 1.5 weeks during Christmas season. I am quite impressed; the shoes are light and really built for running. The texture is perforated, and there are holes at the bottom of the shoe allowing your foot to breathe. I like how they look. No complaints on overall design. But I did dock 1 star for 3 reasons: 1. I have another pair of size 9 running shoes from Adidas and I feel these are just ever so slightly too big (but honestly this is just being nit picky). 2. I did receive an insole, and it doesn't appear to be attached to the shoe in any way (it's a slip on, your foot just slides over it). The product doesn't make any mention of this, and I'm not too bothered by it.. Just surprised is all. 3. I did qualify for express shipping, but it took over 5 business days to even receive a confirmation email that my order was officially shipped. Understandable as I ordered about 5 days before Christmas but it would be nice to receive feedback that my order is simply just delayed and not experiencing any other issues. Would likely buy again.
Eyeballed this shoe for a friends gift for quite some time. Finally got it and the quality is incredible the construction and style is well beyond what the image offers online. As far as performance I cannot speak to that but based on many others who have confirmed it I believe my friend will really do well with them.
I'm a chinese guy, 27years old. I should say this pair of shoe is just owesome. Soft, light, breathable, don't slide running in the rain. And It looks so cool. Nice shoe for spring, summer, autumn.Definitly 5stars, I'll give a 10 if I may.
first off, really fast delivery. ordered it on a Thursday evening and got the shoes delivered to me on a Monday. in terms of the shoes, as many of the reviews mention, the insoles don't want to stay in tact. it slips and slides when trying to put your feet in and slips out when you take the shoes off. the style is a 5/5 though. super light and breathable. however, not suitable in vancouver rain weather!
The upper is ok, reasonably light and doesn't retain water. The sole is durable rubber that provides a lot of grip, I ran on slippery wooden boards and found grip. Downsides are : size, I had to go up half a size from traditional Adidas sizing (though this brings its sizing more in line with most other manufacturers). weight, as a forefoot striker the weight is mostly at the rear of the shoe in a load of cushioning I rarely use. The cushioning in the forefoot is misleading as this shoe has not been designed with midfoot or forefoot strikers in mind and just slows us down. I'll keep the shoe now as a winter plod along trainer and throw it after 100 miles - 5 done so far.. as I've worn it outside. Recommend this as a good shoe for stubborn heel strikers.
I purchased these and a pair of Glide. I found the response a bit bulky comparied to the glide. There was little repsponce to them, for a little bit more money, I would recommend Glide which are a lighter weight.
Yes it is pricey but it's important that my feet is extremely comfortable and happy. I'm a runner and I've gone 20 miles in one day on this shoes and I had no blisters or any other pain. After 6 miles your fit will start to swell and because the material is stretchable you don't feel the discomfort on your fit of feeling tight. I'm addicted to the Ultra Boost model for sure.
I have always liked the response line of running shoes due to their basic, no nonsense approach. Not a lot of needless bells and whistles just decent cushioning. I have run in the supernova line as well but always felt they were a bit heavy and stiff. The response boost runs like a light shoe with good flexibility. Great basic trainer.
These shoes are like walking on clouds... Love them so much. Careful they do seem to run about a half or full size smaller than other shoes but i think this is typical with Adidas. I am usually an 11-11.5 and these fit perfect in 10.5. Like others mentioned the insoles pop up when you take them off but definitely not a problem for me when walking/running.
Nice looking trainer arrived on time and was a good fit but my sporty son only wore it a few times and the thin fabric upper started to develop a hole. Rather disappointed that the material was not strong enough to withstand greater wear and tear.
Very bouncy and comfortable on the feet. I have problems with my left foot and numbness. However, my left foot felt pretty good in these shoes wile running an 8 km run. I usually start feel some pain after 4 km but I am able to run the whole 8 km without pain.
A big fan of how the shoe looks and it gets its fair share of compliments (I wear it casually). It's super light, provides fairly good support, and the mesh cover definitely keeps things cool. A few critiques: The insole moving around is a problem for the first few days but it settles in. A week later, not a problem when putting it on but the insole does still pop when taking the shoe off. I've also found that the lower edge of the shoe (white and red) picks up scuffs pretty easy. They wipe off but kind of annoying. None of this would scare me away from purchasing again.
Ignore that so called art director in the review, no one needs your credentials. Bought the jersey and man does it feel great! In my opinon the style is different, trim is great, love the button layout on the semi-collar, perfect fade touch across the chest of Colombia in yellow, don't know what others think but the armband of Colombia on the sleeves are sick! Excellent job on the jersey Adidas!
Since I've started using these shoes for running, I ordered another pair for work (I work 12-hr shifts in an ICU; lot's of running around and comfort is crucial to survive a day or night without blisters). These shoes are light and airy; excellent for whatever kind of running you do - from short jogs to 12-hr work days on your feet. Highly recommended.
Personally, the boost material is the best cushioning system ever invented. These response boosts were perfect for me because I run but also do strength training. The placement of the boost material provides a studier base the the shoe rather than a pure or ultra boost. I now have a pair of ultra, pure, and response boost and I would recommend an ultra boost for a running or casual shoe. The response boost is a perfect training shoe.
My boyfriend ranted and raved about his boosts and was telling me I needed a pair. We do a lot of walking/exploring NYC and I always complain about my feet hurting. I decided to buy these and it was probably the best purchase I've ever made. I was a bit skeptical about spending such a large sum of money on them, but I definitely do not regret it. These are the comfiest sneakers I have ever worn. I own 3 Nike Frees and a pair of Roshe and the comfort level does not come close. I might have to buy a pair for the gym as well!
Aside from the metrics of a narrow space at the ball fo the foot, this choe breathes well, is light on the foot and is comfort in flat terrain. I would avoid a too-rocky path as the light weight of the sole does not add to rock protection.
I own the original Energy Boost, Energy Boost 2, Supernova Boost 6 and Supernova Boost 7. After chatting with online personnel, I decided to give the Response Boost 2 a try. It is somewhat ironic, that a shoe named "Response" totally lacks the cushioning and "response" that made the Boost shoes such a hit!! Rides very firm and has little "rebound" qualities of the aforementioned shoes. I will only use this shoe for short 2-4 mile recovery runs.
I was hesitant to shell out the $$$ for these shoes, but I loved the style & have enjoyed my previous two pairs of Boosts (addicted much?!). In the past I have been able to wear my of Boosts with workouts approx 4x/week (30 - 60 mins), so I figured it would be worth it. I don't run, but primarily use these shoes for circuit training and plyos. The support and cushion that Boosts provide for my knees and lower back is awesome. These shoes are truly a pleasure to work out it. If you can afford it, I think they are worth it.
