The first thing I love about these shoes is the way they look. The second? The 2016s have a tongue that stays put. It's attached on both sides so it doesn't slide around and cause the laces to loosen up during a match. Brilliant! Next, there's no plastic to dig in to my ankles like some competitors now have. In fact, they're quite soft all around, but my feet don't get hot. My ankles are stable on account of the wider base at the heel. The kind adidas support person told me these run long. I'm between a 7.5 and an 8, and the 8s fit perfectly. Did I mention how awesome they look? I mean, who doesn't want chrome on their heels?! Also, I drag my toe, but so far there's no indication of that whatsoever.
The waistband on this skirt is the most comfortable, soft, forgiving way to top a skirt. Also the inner shorts are so incredibly stretchy that the entire thing seems to fit like a lightweight second skin. I don't have to pull at it and adjust it. It works well in sweaty situations. It washes well. I love it.
I didn't like these shorts. I read that they run small. I usually wear M, but got S and they were still rather baggy looking. I got them because I liked the cut out detail, but if you have ever burned the edge of a ribbon to keep it from fraying and then noticed the the edge was kind of hard and scratchy, you'll know how the cut outs in these shorts feel. I put them on and while walking next door, I started to feel uncomfortable scratching in my inner thighs from the cutouts. I don't recommend these shorts
They're great looking shorts but for a sport like tennis where you're running in every direction the laser cut fabric is very uncomfortable on your inner thighs. I have next to no fat there and have never had chafing. It's a design issue with the shorts. Get the skirt instead.
Great shoe comfort and look wise! Adidas always has the best tennis court shoes! However, when I ordered these, they were a 1/2 size too big which was very inconvenient. I also bought the purple color and they were slightly darker, almost blue, now that I look back I wish I would've bought the grey ones.
The shoe was very comfortbale and worked very well on hard courts. I am pretty rough on my shoes, playing six days a week competitively for a few hours, so the six month warranty was a huge plus. I wear a 7 1/2 and my other tennis shoes have been running slightly small so I ordered an 8 but it was at least a size too big.
These are solid sweatbands, as I've used Adidas brands in the past and they are good quality. However, the picture shows bands with just the logo on them. The ones I received had the logo and the words Adidas under them. Not a huge deal, but the main reason I got them was because I thought they looked cooler with just the logo (as opposed to the ones I already had, which include the words).
When I'm on the court I have to have my wristband on my left arm so I will have another piece of identity. The climalite keeps my wrist free from dried up sweat during play and I like how it lasts longer than my previous ones from other brands. Always a fan of its reversibility to keep me matching with my headband while at work or on the court.
