Super comfortable shoe, breathable mesh and cushiony sole makes them great for running/gym. The one problem I have with them is the loophole for the shoelace isn't very secure, and after about two months of wear one of them ripped and the shoelace became loose and now that shoelace is sort of lopsided. Not that noticeable though, would still recommend.
I had to play around to get the sizing right and the shoes did rub my ankles a little at first, but once they were broken in, they were fine. I have high arches so lightweight shoes are hard for me to wear. So I really liked the arch support and the weight of these shoes a lot. I purchased them either in Jan or Feb and just noticed today that the bottoms are pretty worn through. I've run 2 5Ks, 2 10Ks, and usually run at least 5 miles a week, so these shoes have gotten a lot of use, but i'm still replacing them a solid 5-11 months sooner than I've ever replaced any other pair. That's something to keep in mind if your mileage is heavy!
This is my third year buying Adidas energy and adios boost - I am an elite athlete logging in high conditioning and Sprint kms as well as agility, adidas out performs all the other brands that I have tried in durability and endurance - I am excited that the adios has the contenential tread (will last even longer) !!! Thanks for making a superior shoe with competitive prices
These shoes and I don't pair well. This shoe is comfortable enough to walk in, but that's about it. First, I am a pretty true 6.5 when is comes to sneakers, this fit slightly short where my big toe would rub a tad against the top of the shoe with any forward movement. The boost "technology" is awesome If you're looking for a shoe with lots of cushion and bounce. I guess for me I look for a shoe that sits a little closer to the ground so I can have more stability. The gap at the bottom of the arch also contributes to that feeling of lack of stability. My feet end up hurting and feeling achy after wearing these for a gym session. I also tried doing a short run and these just killed my feet.
BEST SHOE EVER! Love using this shoe for short runs, weight lifting and doing bootcamp style workouts. Your foot feels amply supported around the foot; like it's being hugged! The boost cushioning is super springy and responsive which is great for jumping!
I wanted a lightweight pair of shoes for just running around in. My regular running shoes are just too bulky. These are perfect. I have wide feet and because of the sock like fit, they work perfectly. The backs come up too high on my ankle, but I just rolled them down a bit and it stays. I love the way it wraps my arch. I have plantar fasciitis and wear orthotics in my running shoes, but I can walk all day without pain in these. I tried a little run in them, but I need more cushion in my running shoes. I wouldn't hesitate wearing them to Disneyland all day though. I have the cute floral pair and I now need to buy another more neutral pair to wear with more things.
I love these shoes so much! I initially ordered 8.5 because I vary between 8 and 8.5 and I read reviews saying to order larger because of the snug fit but I exchanged them for an 8 due to too much room in the toe. The 8 is perfect and I love them so much! So comfortable- they also have great support as I have flat feet! I got the blue and now bought a second pair in the gray. The gray will be for everyday wear and I'll use the blue as my gym shoes!
I love love love my pure boosts!!! Love the design, it looks great on foot even with a size like 9.5. The arch is pretty high so my foot had to get used to it, since I don't have high arches, but I love them for walking and jogging mostly. I feel like they slip a little if you do other workouts. But overall-- I want more pairs in different colours!!
I LOVE the style of these shoes (why I gave 2 stars), ok support, enough shock resistance for what I needed (vacation walking). But they squeeze the middle of my feet sooo bad. I have fairly narrow feet and couldn't believe after an hour or two they were hurting and at the end of the day felt such a relief to take them off. I wanted them to be my favorite, but until they can come out with a wide, or perhaps revisit the tension caused by the super unique design, I will have to resist. Also note, they felt fine when I tried them on in store:/
Love the style and comfort - however they were kind of dirty like they had been returned - I didn't expect that getting them directly from Adidas.com ... I emailed customer support but no reply :( but as far as the comfort and style - I highly recommend ...
These shoes offer incredible heel and arch support. Similar to orthotics, it took a few times wearing them to acclimate my feet to them. After the first time wearing them, my heels and arches felt a bit strained, however they felt so good when I put them on that I continued to wear them and after 4-5 days my feet now feel great during and after I wear them. I'm very active and I LOVE these running shoes. Be patient with them, just like orthotics, your feet need to acclimate to them, but once they do, they're fabulous!!
I bought these shoes for a comfortable pair of lifestyle shoes, not to work out in by any means. After two weeks of wearing them around the seam around the ankle ripped. These shoes are super comfortable but wish the quality would have been better. A waste of money for a pair of shoes that will not last more than a month.
Really wanted to love and keep these shoes, but I just can't. After one 40 minute run in these the back of my heel is completely torn up. Overall the shoes are the most amazing things I have ever put on my feet but even for just walking I can see this heel thing being an issue. They are going back.
I talked with friend who wore this shoe on family vaca in WA D.C. she said after walking continually her feet were not sore or tired. I wear these shoes for work..health care. Extremely comfortable with great support. I have a narrow foot. The FIT is perfect. I will get another pair. Have recommended to many people
I eyed these shoes in the faded pink color for the longest time, when I finally ordered them I was surprised at how much pinker they actually were. the picture makes it look like a faded color when in reality it is a bright pink. Overall still a very cute shoe.
These shoes are so comfy! I was looking around for something that didn't have lots of arch support because I have little to no arch in my feet and these are great! The perfect balance between comfort and support. I'm sure I'll be replacing them in the future!
I fell in love with this shoe the moment I put it on. It feels like I'm walking on a cloud and the shoe wraps around my arch and gives it an amazing amount of support. All in all I absolutely love this shoe and would buy again.
I have worn the energy boost for almost three years now and I absolutely love the shoe. It makes me really sad because when switching from version 2 to 3 adidas changed the upper around the toe box. The shoe used to stay snug to your foot but now I can only get about 100 miles on them before they are way too loose and cause pain. I wish they would go back to the old tech fit! For now I will go back to wearing the Energy Boost ESM 2 until the quality of the new shoe is fixed.
I really like these shoes because they are comfortable and great for any type of workout. The only part I don't like about them is that the tongue of the shoe doesn't really tuck in to the shoe, so it is always pushed out. Other than that, I love them and I would definitely recommend them.
I purchased this shoe because I thought it was a beige/gold color, but in person it looks like a pink/salmon color; it's actually very pretty and I love it. Also, I decided to purchase 1/2 smaller because I've purchased these before in my actual size and they were a little too big. Sizing down gave me a great fit since I prefer to wear extra thin socks, but if you wear normal cotton socks then your actual size should fit just fine.
I love the glove-like fit and the way the upper hugs my arch. The floral design is awesome. I experienced a few hot spots under my toes during a 13 mile run in these, so I stick with them for shorter distances.
What attracted me to the sneakers at first were the laces which makes them look sleeker and it doesn't draw attention away from the shoe. Bought these for work and I must say they're pretty comfy for walking long periods of time. They are sock like so I don't know if socks are meant to be worn with them but when I did my feet were slightly hot but not super uncomfortable. I've gotten many compliments on this shoe and the laces in a particular. I would say to size up half a size because while they are meant to feel like a sock they should still fit like a sneaker meaning having a little tiny bit of wiggle room
The back of these shoes is way too high, it caused a blister on my heel within the first 10 minutes of a run. I had to take them off to get back home. Other than the back of the shoe being designed horribly, they fit like a glove. Although they did hurt my arch after running as well. Not impressed.
I love Edge Lux...I have flat feet (no arches) and they fit perfectly. I am on my feet at work all day and at the end of the day, my feet are not painful like they used to be. I have already purchased two pairs and will be ordering more.
These shoes ran stiff and the edge of the front inside rubbed on my pinky toe so much that they were very painful to run in. I thought I would like this more structured shoe than the ultra boost. But I prefer the ultra boost and will return these to get another pair of ultra boost.
