Firstly, this review doesn't have much to say against the shoe. They fit and looked great, however, I don't know why Adidas doesn't have more women's weightlifting shoes. I figured that the single option I had, the "Powerlift 2.0" shoes would cover all my needs. I was wrong. I simultaneously purchased the men's "Power Perfect II" shoes and the heel is almost twice as lifted as the women's Powerlift 2.0 (probably more similar to the Men's Powerlift 2.0 shoes. Go figure). For someone who has tight calves and short achilles tendons, these shoes were not as useful to me as the men's style I purchased, and I find it frustrating that there aren't more weightlifting shoe options in the women's sizes. Although I ultimately decided to keep the men's Power Perfect 2, they are too big (I got the smallest size available) and I would have liked to have the option of this style in women's sizes.
Very comfortable shoes. They made quite the difference in my squat and I really like to wear them for bench as well. Sole has a lot of grip, keeps your foot firmly into place and allows to really dig into the floor. However I found the fit to be very small. I usually wear size 7 or 7.5 and had to order a 6. I have slightly wide feet and was worried about the shoes being too narrow and stiff in the toes, but I broke them in very fast.
I bought these because my roommate owns a pair of Nike comfort fit flip-flops. They were great to walk in, but they were supper expensive. I found the Supercloud and they are much better! They are soft and offer great support. They are also extremely well priced! These were a great investment and I look forward to enjoying their durability.
They're a great shoe and do exactly what you would expect them to do. My hang cleans feel a lot more stable and definitely have a bigger safe range of motion on squats. I have small heels though so I find they slip when I walk in them.
For the first few days these slides were very painful to wear. I thought I wasn't going to be able to keep them. But I kept on using them with and without socks and eventually it just didn't hurt to wear them anymore. Now I'm love these slides. I think my feet just needed to be broken in lol. I'm very happy with this product.
For some reason these come up EXTREMELY small! I bought a size 7 and had to buy a 9 for them to fit. They are comfortable and I am hoping they will provide some grip on soft surfaces when I go swimming. There is not a huge difference between the 7 & 9 considering they are 2 sizes different but maybe they are based om US sizes.
Unlike the pair i bought last year these slides remained water.logged, like a wet heavy sponge that took leaving out in the sun for 2 days to completely dry. They are very comfortable just dont get them wet - which is pretty hard when you stand in thr pool shower with them :) maybe just keep them at home.for indoor summer slippers.as.i will.
I purchased my Adidas slides about 4 years ago, so long that the comfort nodules/tubes have worn down taking the shape of my foot. I hate wearing shoes, but when I do, these are my go-to's. I wear these daily-all day-all year long; with or without socks & for every season! They are constructed well, last long & are very comfortable. I have purchased a pair for my son, who is always borrowing mine, my husband & my son's girlfriend. I'm a customer for life! Thanks Adidas!!!!
I ordered these because I am on my feet all day long and wanted something to slip on at the end of the day that was not a standard rubber flip flop. These are UNBELIEVABLE! My feet were slightly sensitive to the footbed the 1st couple of wears, but they easily adjusted. I highly recommend these if you are looking for a convenient slide that also offers some relief for tired feet.
These powerlift's are the PERFECT shoe for women who are serious about strength/weight training. Comfy and offer great stability in all types of movement - squats, deadlifts, lunges and to my surprise really lock body and vote for standing overhead presses! Can't recommend them enough! I couldn't do a session without them now!
My old Adidas slip on sandals are more comfortable. These are too narrow and not as comfortable. I will probably be returning them unless my daughter can use them. I was disappointed. I guess you don't have the style that I am used to.
i ordered these powerlifters last week in a size 5 (I'm usually a 5.5 in all my other runners..). I read all the reviews and they said to order a half size to a full size smaller!?? The 5 was too small so I sent back the following day. There was a ups returns tracking sticker that came with my lifters so it was just a quick phone call for a collection. Adidas refunded my PayPal account straight away and I ordered the 5.5 instead! I will definitely order from Adidas again. Constant updates on my orders and queries.
Fantastic flip flops so comfortable and look awesome. I just had to get a size bigger than I usually wear but wasn't a problem as purchasing and returning was so totally easy. Would definitely recommend!
These are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn. They also dry quickly. I would recommend them to anyone. I do have wide feet and they fit perfectly so for women with thin feet they might be a bit wide but they have seem to of moulded to my feet. Well worth the price.
I had read a lot of reviews before I ordered and I am very happy I did. I ended up getting a size 7.5 (I am usually an 8) and it fits perfect. I also have very wide feet and the width also fits great. I bought the purple ones which look really good but hard to match (for anyone who care about what they look like). I wish there were other colours to chose from (more classic ie: black and white). The shipping was SO quick! I live in Ontario. I ordered late Friday. Got the "they shipped" email Monday, and by Tuesday they were at my doorstep! Very satisfied.
These are my first pair of lifting shoes, and I enjoy them so much I bought a few other pairs. Although they are made for support (great at stabilizing side to side doing deadlifts), I find them actually very comfortable wearing in the gym even when not doing a leg workout… They are sturdy and not meant to be comfy in the way a padded springy running shoe would be, but I find them very comfortable, and that coming from someone who wears orthotics for fallen arches, that says something! They fit true to size, and the purple is a refreshing change.
I AM CURRENTLY WEARING A CAST ON MY LEFT FOOT! But I was extremely anxious to try on these $35 flip flop looking to send them back right a way! Because for $35 I could have gotten a pair of real shoes on the clearance rack! But to my SURPRISE! These flip flop are so comfortable!! With only one foot I am truly impressed! I would order another pair but I order mine in black and grey so that pretty much overs all area! Although something is telling me to order another pair because I can predict heavy wear and tear!
These shoes are exactly what I hoped they would be. Comfortable slip ons for around the house and running errands. I wear them more then actual shoes because walking and standing in these is like getting a foot massage!! I wish I could wear them to work!
This shoe fits my foot (regular-slightly wide) great!--with the advice from previous reviews to order a size down possibly even a size and a half. I'm usually a size 8 or 8.5 and I ordered a 7.5 & 8. The 7.5 fit me perfect. Colour is just like the pic-wish there were more choices other than pink or purple for women. But the purple is sharp w/ the dark purple-navy trim & yellow-green accents. I'm a CrossFitter & I love these shoes during max effort lifting days-creates stability & explosiveness to my sq, cleans, jerk, etc. not to mention PR's.
I bought a pair for my wife as a new year gift. I have owned my men's adidas powerlift shoes for about two years now and been VERY HAPPY about them: they provide solid platform that makes me confident squatting heavy, have the great looks, and didn't wear or tear after over a hundred sessions of intense workouts. It's been my best investment in fitness. I knew my wife will like these shoes a lot. She had always been squatting in her runners as she didn't want to buy another pair of "gym shoes". The first pair in size 5.5 arrived within 2 days from Ontario to Alberta with FREE express shipping, but they are about 1/2 size bigger, so I ordered the pair 1/2 size smaller immediately before even returning the first pair, (that's how confident I am about adidas.ca). The second pair arrived within 2 days as well, which fit her feet perfectly. The second my lady first stand in shoes, she felt the difference. She indeed enjoyed how pretty the shoes are, and the performance in the power rack proved awesomeness. She even received compliments in the locker room. If you are hesitating on buying these shoes, don't. Just buy 1/2 size or 1 size smaller, and make yourself happy for every workout in the next few years. Also, this is the cheapest option of good weightlifting shoes out there, I had been searching for a good few months before decided on adidas a few years ago.
I am very happy with these shoes. The nubs on the foot bed are very comfy and do not hurt my feet. I use these shoes everywhere I go. They run true to size. In the summer wear nail polish on your toes with a toe ring while wearing these shoes and your feet will look great. My old pair of these shoes lasted 3 years and I hope these last just as long.
I received these sandals as a gift and they are absolutely amazing! They do run a bit large, though. I usually wear a 9.5 and the 9 fit me perfectly. They're soooooo comfortable! Now I understand why everyone at my school wears them :)
I wear it close to everyday now haha. Wore it to class, wore it in my dorm, wore it downtown...everywhere (with socks on, of course). Without socks (especially in the morning for some reason) it really hurts my feet but I otherwise I really like it. Plus, it arrived the day before my birthday so it was like an early birthday gift for me hehe
I wear a size 6 so that is what size I purchased in the Power Lift 2.0. I had to return them and I purchased a size 5.5 which is the smallest size. I actually could probably wear a size 5 but they do not offer anything smaller than a size 5.5 so I will have to make do. If you want a snug shoe I suggest ordering a full size smaller. As for the quality of the shoe I will say the blue material is not leather and it does look a bit cheesy/cheap up close. I am not concerned with how it looks so that is no issue for me. I really like the heel which bring my torso upright for squatting. I feel stable in these shoes when lifting and the strap across the top really enforces that feeling. All in all I am happy with his shoe.
I'm normally a 9 in female... everywhere.. Got these in 9 and they were a good size too big.. I also got a mens pair in 7.5 which the site recommends going 1 size smaller if you are a women and i have always gone 2, so i played it safe with the 7.5 but they were too big, but i think the women's 9 was even larger.. So maybe their male female scale was correct but i wont get larger than an 8 in womens in these.. The look pretty though.
