Compared to the 2014 model of these shoes, I would say it runs 1/2 a size larger. The material inside of the shoes feels softer as well as the outer material since they got rid of the plastic mesh with holes that covered most of the 2014 shoe. It feels like I'm wearing running shoes when I wear them...they are very comfortable. I'm not sure if I don't make as many side to side motions or that I don't notice the stability issue compared to one reviewer...overall if a person can live with the shoe being 1/2 a size larger, I like it more than the 2014 model.
Love the shoe, I'm usually a 9.5, got a 9.0, fit was perfect. Very comfortable, did not feel like wearing a boat or neither was it heavy, which was claimed by other reviews. But the color difference from the picture bothers me so much. I can take a normal orange shoe, but upon receiving the shoe, it was just WOW, it's this very bright neon orange with a tint of bright pink Grapefruit color.....
These are solid sweatbands, as I've used Adidas brands in the past and they are good quality. However, the picture shows bands with just the logo on them. The ones I received had the logo and the words Adidas under them. Not a huge deal, but the main reason I got them was because I thought they looked cooler with just the logo (as opposed to the ones I already had, which include the words).
When I'm on the court I have to have my wristband on my left arm so I will have another piece of identity. The climalite keeps my wrist free from dried up sweat during play and I like how it lasts longer than my previous ones from other brands. Always a fan of its reversibility to keep me matching with my headband while at work or on the court.
I've played tennis in running shoes for 11 years because tennis shoes always made me feel clumsy and lacking in agility. I have wasted money on shoes I've never worn on court because they inhibited movement. I bought these with trepidation but am absolutely delighted with them. They have the feel of running shoes but are durable enough to withstand the pounding they get on a hard court. They are very comfortable and fit true to size. I feel light and agile and don't even notice that I'm wearing them. I'm tempted to buy more now in case they ever go out of production. At last I look like a preoper tennis player!
Recently I lost a lot of weight and this dress was my reward. I am 5'3" and 133 lbs and the small fit me well. I like the dress design because it is classy but is long enough that my glutes were covered (not too short). It is light and easy to move in while playing singles or doubles. I received a lot of compliments on this dress which I was very grateful to hear. I hope you enjoy this dress as much as I have.
I've never purchased Adidas tennis shoes before; however, from reading all reviews about this new model and how they have improved on certain aspects of the fit, I decided that was enough to go on. Other brands that I was used to wear have been disappointing: rough around the seams at the forefront or the top rubber parts are just digging into your toes. With these main concerns in my mind, I decided to trust the SMC 2015 and give them a try. The promotional price was tempting and the additional 25% online discount was a definite push for this purchase. I needed a large size to fit my wide feet and the length for one of my toes. I could have used a 9 size, but this way, I am guaranteed to bruised toe nails. The Heel part is a little loose when I am running and is seen flopping, but I had to tighten the laces a little. Arch support is nice, which was one of my concerns since I have high arches. I have worn the shoes six times now: practices, lessons, matches: my calluses are disappearing. I usually play four times per week, including competitive matches. I am not crazy about the mint colour as it doesn't match any of my tennis outfits, but I was desperate for new shoes. I see that they now have a new model with yellow and black, now that would be a wonderful combination and suit most clothing colours. Had free shipping and received them withint two days (Ontario address). Bravo!
I'm a 10-12 and bought the medium but probably should have bought the small as these are slghtly loose. They're a good length in that they're not too short unlike some of the tennis dresses and other tennis skorts I have seen which are fine when you're in your 20s but approaching mid-30s I'd rather not be flashing my bottom. What I particularly like about these skorts is the ball pockets as it's much nicer to have somewhere specific to keep the balls as opposed to tucking them under the shorts.
I have a large and hard to fit foot. The Barricade 2015 by Stella McCartney fits my foot perfectly! It has great support and can be adjusted well for width and stability control. The one thing that I would suggest is to have an extra hole at the top for the laces to snug up the heel. I have a wide forefoot and a very narrow heel. So, the extra hole helps to snug up the heel. The arch support is great and snug. The lack of stitching around the toes is excellent and relieves any pressure points on the forefoot. I'm hoping to buy a second pair as a backup out of fear that I won't be able to get this same shoe later. I'm a USPTA Elite pro of 30+ years and support, comfort, and great looks in a shoe is important .... and this shoe delivers on all three.
