Awesome shoe, have been wearing it for years! Great support for those with weak ankle or flexible forefoot. This time the 7.5 size was slightly too long, but overall this shoe rocks the runs every time! (10-21km runs)
These are my favorite running shoes that I have ever owned. I often forget to take them off when I get home because they feel just like my feet. I'll admit that I was hesitant when I first bought them because I am used to a much more structured and supportive shoe, but these have not let me down. They are the perfect balance between fluidity and structure. The bounce that they have in their soles makes running a lot easier. I highly recommend these to any runner.
I absolutely love my new running shoes. I bought these as a present for my birthday and besides the fact that they were discounted, they are so comfortable and light. I would definitely recommend this shoes!
Nice looking shoes. I might have a wrong impression on the shoe as it said 'running'. To me the rear cushion is too soft, like you walk on a sponge, and front cushion is too thin. If you are looking for a pair of 'running shoes', they might not be the right ones, but they do feel very comfy and styly when walking
First time I was on the trademill with this shoes, I could not believe how good it felt. I like shoes with lots of support and stability (I have flat feet) and this is it. I cannot believe how much this shoes made running more fun. Congratulation Adidas! You finally found material that is better than gel or air.
I love this shoe, just run my first half and got the shoes a day before the run,was alittle scare at first of the time i had with the shoe. I did not have a probles with the shoe...I will recomend this shoe 100% tney are worth the money..
Yes it is pricey but it's important that my feet is extremely comfortable and happy. I'm a runner and I've gone 20 miles in one day on this shoes and I had no blisters or any other pain. After 6 miles your fit will start to swell and because the material is stretchable you don't feel the discomfort on your fit of feeling tight. I'm addicted to the Ultra Boost model for sure.
I love these shoes. I feel weightless when I train at the gym. Similar to a previous comment, the soles in my right shoe seem to always roll up and I have to roll it back with my toes, otherwise there will be a gap in between that isn't so convenient. I would prefer it if the laces were thicker, but that's a nice to have but not a need. Despite that, I love the colour and love the the way it feels.
I got these after having the Glide Boosts and love the lighter weight shoe- I've already gotten a couple of PRs on my runs. I'm training for a couple of marathons and these shoes have been holding up well to 30-40 mile weeks. I have the black pair and love the mismatching green/pink coloring- it definitely doesn't hurt to make them look as good as they feel!
I got these running shoes for only 50 dollars which I believe it's a bargain. However,I would not recommend it to somebody who is really into running cause I think these shoes are more likely for walking.Anyway,It is perfect for me since I just jog and go for some casual exercises at the gym.
I've heard a lot of hype about boost and finally decided on to try these shoes. I was just looking for something comfortable and casual and these shoes looked pretty nice. Pure boost totally lives up to the hype. They are so comfortable and unbelievably light weight. You feel like you have a spring in your step and I like to stand and shift my weight just to feel that spongy cushion. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 and the 7.5 fit perfectly, which worked out luckily since they were sold out of 8! The only complaint I have is that the color is not exactly as pictured. I ordered the all black with what looks like gum colored soles(which i love and think looks super clean)but in person the bottom looks like a neon orange! I seriously considered returning at first because it was so deceptive, but once I put them on, I fell in love.
I now have 3 pairs of the ultra booat and can't imagine another shoe as comfy as these. I only wear Adidas but the ultra boost are by far the best. Can't get a more comfortable and true to size shoe out there! Defenitly worth the price! Way to go Adidas!
I absolutely love these shoes and have now purchased in three colors. I have low arches and they provide me the stability I need to do all my workouts. I am not a runner, but I do a lot of weight training and high impact workouts. I find these to be light weight, very supportive and true to size. I also like the color selections, although the pink is much brighter in person and not to my taste.
When I first received the shoes, I was a bit disappointed because I wasn't sure if the material quality looks as good as the picture. I kept them still because I really needed a new pair of shoes. THEY RUN SMALL - I have a pair of adidas that were sz8 and they are big on me so I ordered 7.5 for this pair but they are really small!!! I had to make a return and purchased half size bigger. Even sz8 was a bit tight at the beginning but after just wearing them 3 times, they are now perfect! They look SO GOOD with my outfits and they are very comfortable - I especially like that they do not have laces that makes stretching really easy and nice!!! The more I wear them, I love them more!!!
I need a good support sneaker due to a knee injury. This was recommended by a running store but I'm now not sure that I got the right sneaker! I remember trying on one style and the heel was too loose. The other was just right. Well, guess what! I think I got the wrong shoe because my sock slipped down and my heel slipped up. The next time I wore a different, thicker, pair of socks and it was OK. However, the rest of the sneaker was comfortably snug. I did not purchase the in-store sneaker because I need neutral colors. They said to order direct because they could not get the color I wanted.(PLEASE make good sneakers in colors that can be used as a dress shoe!) For the cost, I'm rating this an average sneaker.
I should have bought a size bigger its bit tight at the moment i hope it loosens up a bit, also the material is very thin at the toe area which may tear up quick but i hope not but overall it wasn't a bad purchase it looks great and comfy apart from the toe area
Love my new duramo 7's. They are a great shape not too rounded at the toe, so they are flattering. They are a deep pink with black inner (much more sensible colour choice than white as they don't show the dirt). They have been worn regularly & still look quite new. Tongue stays central. Good grip. Seamless make for a sleeker look. Very pleased.
I'm lucky enough to have picked these out as a Parkrun Sweatshop prize back in May this year and wanted something better than my cheap Karrimors. So when I was told I could pick anything off the shelf at any price, I was like a kid in a sweet shop! These were an instant favourite because of how comfy they were in the shop. The upper fits like a glove around my feet and the sole makes walking and running feel as though you are walking on air. Now, historically I tend to get a bit of discomfort with any new pair of trainers which tends to disappear after a few short outings, so I wasn't put off by the tingley pins and needles I felt on my first few runs. However, I have persevered and run almost 200 miles in them but I consistently start to feel the pins and needles effect after only 4 miles and by 6 miles it becomes almost unbearable. It has got better over time and I ran a half marathon in them recently, but they were extremely uncomfortable from 8 miles onwards. Some have commented on the durability of them, and while mine are not falling apart, the black grip on the soles wore down to flat very quickly. Something I wouldn't expect from a pair of trainers with such a hefty price tag on them. I really wanted to get on with these trainers but unfortunately, I will not be spending any money on another pair.
I haven't worn a pair of Adidas in a while but when I saw these on the shelf, I had to get them. They are low profile, lightweight and really attractive daily runners and not overly priced. I love these shoes and will def look into doubling up! Also, the ash purple is a little more vibrant in person and almost looks like a blue-purple.
I have high arches and need a lot of cushion for my runs. With my custom insoles inserted , these are the best running shoes I have tried on so far . So plush and great ventilation for long runs. my feet never feel hot or sweaty, even after a 1/2 marathon. So far I have ran 3 races in these shoes and i can always hashtag #PR in my race photos. hahaha. Yes, They are a little more narrow compared to nikes, but i feel like the snug gives my foot extra support. My foot doesnt' feel like its sliding around in my shoes when I run; it stays in place comfortably. A big plus about these shoes is that even after 250 miles, they still look GREAT! it retains its shape so nicely. from afar, they look brand new still and I like how the dirt wipes off easily (I have black shoes so idk about the white boosts). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for beginner runners, averaging 15-20 miles a week , or running 1/2 marathons.
I really wish they would make these shoes with the Primeknit or techfit or some kind more stretchy forgiving fabric/structure on the top. The whole bottom of the shoe feels well constructed, seems to give support and stability - but the toe box is too low in these shoes- making them tight in the toes - need more room in the front!
I absolutely love these shoes. Even though these shoes do not come in wide widths, the stretchy material allows me to wear these shoes comfortably even with bunions. After trying 4 different brands of athletic shoes, these were the only ones I can wear since they do not have a hard material across the bunion area. I do wish they came in wide which would allow for orthodics to be placed in a lot easier.
I struggle to get a great fitting sneaker because I have a high arch. I own 2 pairs of the earlier version of these & wanted a third but they are long gone. I took a leap and ordered the Duramo 7. Similar fit but even better cushioning. From the first wearing they are completely comfortable.. In fact, these are so perfect I just ordered my second pair!
I'll make a few comparisons with the Adipure 360.3, even though that's a trainer instead of a runner. Bear with me, please. Pros: 1. Having a full-length Boost sole in a running shoe is luxurious. It's very cushy and bouncy, yet extremely flexible. I'm a mid/forefoot striker, but in these shoes I can easily shift to rear-foot striking if I need to—and my heels don't scream at me in protest. 2. The bevel in the Boost sole seems to stabilize the shoe a bit: I can do single-leg deadlifts in this shoe, as long as I don't shift all my weight too far to the front of my foot. I don't really recommend these shoes for single-leg activities, as they're definitely runners—but I'm pleasantly surprised I'm not all wobbly while balancing in them. (If you've ever tried to balance like that in a pair of Pure Boosts, you know what I mean.) 3. The upper is stretchy and very breathable. I wore these sockless for 10 minutes on a treadmill, and there was a noticeable breeze running across the top of my feet. 4. As with the Adipure, I love the bootie construction. No detached tongue to fuss with, and I get full lace burn protection. 5. The outsole is grippy. Right out of the box, the outsole was actually too grippy. It sounded like I was walking across a sticky movie theater floor. 20 minutes of walking/running in place on carpet and a yoga mat solved that. Cons: 1. Sizing runs long. I wear an 8 in the Adipure, with a comfy half inch gap between the tip of my big toe and the interior front of the shoe. In the Ultra Boost size 8, that gap's a full inch long. I'll try a 7.5 soon. I bought the 8 instead because I thought the smaller size might be too narrow. 2. The plastic lacing system is a rigid cage that makes the shoe too tight on my wide left foot. (It doesn't aggravate my right foot at all.) I guess the thick plastic's meant to lock down the midfoot, since the fabric upper's so stretchy. But the cage is very unkind to wide feet. To fix that, I changed my lacing technique on the left shoe: I completely skip the 2nd holes, and lace the others in typical crisscross fashion. I also don't lace that shoe too tightly. This lets the second pair of plastic stripes skim my foot, while the other stripes provide support. It keeps the cage from digging hard into my foot. So far, it seems to work well. 3. My heels slide out a bit. That's partly due to the long sizing, I'm sure. But also, the Ultra Boost's collar is looser than the Adipure's—probably because the shoes don't use the same kind of fabric upper. (My heels never slip out of the Adipures.) And the heel counter isn't really locking me down. Wearing thicker socks doesn't help much. Hopefully a smaller size will make a difference. 4. I'm pretty sure the outsole won't last long, especially after seeing other people's photos of worn-down nubs. If I keep these shoes, I'll definitely have to rotate them with other pairs. If the smaller 7.5 size resolves two of those cons, I'll happily keep 'em.
These shoes are a good combination between the bouncy boost sole and also a good amount of support. These are flexible enough so that I can add insoles with no issues. I am able to wear them out of the box with no break in period or irritation because of the soft flexible fabric at the top of the shoe and in the back by the heel. I can wear these all day!!
