The fit is like a sexy crop top and a sports bra. I bought the large size though I only weighs a 110 pounds, 36B bra size coz I have a muscular built shoulder, and it fits comfortably, easy to put on. The color is super nice, good quality!
I never thought in a million years I'd purchase a sports bra for $40. I'm not top heavy so the ones I usually buy on clearance at Walmart or Target suits me just fine. I decided to pick one of these up after feeling it in the store and liking the feel. I wore the sports bra today for the first time. I did a hour cardio today and although I sweated, I noticed my body was cool therefore I wasn't dripping as I should have been. Although being active in the gym, wanting to see your hard work by way of sweat, it was great not to feel the sweat running down my body as usual. I also felt as if I had extra energy since my body remained so cool. Ladies, skip a mani/pedi or 2 to get this sports bra and thank me later
Great high impact support. Finally sewn in cup protection that stays put in the wash! Well done adidas! Comfortable straps with no band irritation. Nice cut neckline and recommend small size for B cup with wide back and shoulders.
I already own a few of these bras. I like the design, they have hooks on each side which makes it so much easier to put them on and take them off without any struggle. They are very comportable and great support when running or for any high impact excercises. I purchased one recently in green colour and I was a bit disappointed as the colour was far different than the picture. I returned it and purchased one in a shock pink. I love the colour, it goes well with my adidas pink hoodie ;-) I hope adidas will start making them also in plain white.
I tend to hate sports bras, but I love this one!! If you only ever own one sports bra, make it this one. I appreciate that it can be manipulated to fit your body perfectly yet also be dynamic enough to fit through possible weight fluctuations. I also have to comment on the quality, which I normally don't spend too much time mentioning adidas quality because it is ALWAYS on point, but this bra truly impressed me.
This is such a good buy, I struggle to find sports bras to fit as I've got a small back and fuller bust but this is perfect! The back of it is good as it gives you free range of movement without worrying about strips falling off your shoulder. The only downside is it's not suitable for high impact sport.
I bought this sports bra because it was the closest one to the Supernova climacool version I bought a few years ago. It is the absolute best sports bra I've ever owned. I wear an XL and it fit great, covered the cleavage appropriately and while I wouldn't say it "looked" just like a regular bra, it is the closest I've ever seen to NOT being a uniboob bra. Lol. This bra is almost identical, except it is a little lower cut and shows more cleavage than I care to have in my sports bra. I will definitely wear and it and it is a comfortable bra, but the older version is my preferred sports bra. Hope they make an adjustment on the next version. We larger women should at least have one made for us.
This is my favourite sports bra. I am a size 32DD and the small c/d fits almost perfectly. It is a tiny bit short and the straps aren't adjustable, but I think the mesh racerback will stretch to fit to me over time. I do high impact dance fitness classes with ALOT of jumping - and this bra reduces bounce far better than any other bra I have tried. Highly recommended for high impact activities. Please please please produce this bra in more colours!
As a marathon runner, I train 6 days a week so my sports bras have to stand up to a lot of wear. I'm small-chested, so it is hard to find a product that does not chafe underneath my breasts and along the sides. I've worn this bra for about a week of training and am happy to report that is provides both support and comfort without restricting movement. And the best part of all is no chafing! I'll be buying more of this style.
First off, I'm VERY picky with sports bras simply because of the way my breasts naturally are. I need the bra to fit PERFECTLY or else I'm going with two bras. I wore 2 bras for working out for years because when I tried to wear a simpler compression bra by itself with no cup shapes, I was left with that nightmarish "uniboob" look and feel (most ladies know exactly what I'm talking about.) I'm a full C, sometimes D depending on the bra, so the 2-bra thing was something I've been wanting to rid myself of for the longest time. I work at an Adidas store and found this funky-looking bra and decided to try it on. I will say that the bra is quite daunting at first when you are attempting to just try it on. The way the straps cross over will likely have you saying "huh?" out loud. But I was able to eventually figure it out (after a few minutes of sweating) and, over a year later, I can say this is probably the best bra purchase I've ever made. I actually ended up buying three of them, and none of them show any signs of wear to this day. I know the bra offers fantastic support because I don't think about it when I'm exercising. I work out several times a week. The bra is pretty much true to your normal bra size, and I love how the sizes are based on cup/band sizes (32C, 36DD) as opposed to small/medium/large so that you can make sure that you get a bra that actually FITS. Honestly, the only bad part about this bra IMO is the first few times putting it on because you don't know what you're doing and it just feels like your suffocating even with the right bra size on. But, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the tightness you should be experiencing at first is a good thing. (If the bra's too tight, loosen the straps/clasps a bit, but you shouldn't have to do too much adjusting or else you likely have the wrong bra size.) Let me save you the stress of figuring out how to put this thing on: 1. Unhook the bra. 2. Loosen the straps to at least half the length. This will make the bra easier to pull over your head/arms/torso and keep you from damaging the bra's threading by over-stretching. 3. Pull the bra over your head so that the entire bra is below your bust, near your belly button. Turn the bra around so that the unhooked section of the bra is over your belly button. Make sure the hook sections are not flipped around or else the bra won't fit right. 4. Tighten the straps to your desired tightness and hook the bra together. You obviously won't know your go-to measurement at first, but you will eventually. 5. Twist the bra around your body and fit the cups over your bosom. Put your arms through the arm openings and pull the straps up to your shoulders. Just get past learning how to put it on and I believe you'll really love the bra. Worth your money! :)
Absoutely love this sports bra! I've tried other brands and found them very uncomfortable and tight around the shoulders, but no such complaints with this one :) I am a UK size 10 and the size small fits me perfectly, the material is soft and not at all irritating, and doesn't feel too hot and heavy either which is great when you're working up a sweat. It offers just the right amount of support for my workouts - I usually do resistance in the gym, yoga, or running - however if you have a bigger chest or do something a bit more bouncy you might want extra support (I'm a 32C usually). I initially bought this bra in the flash orange colour, really gorgeous, and have just bought another one in black. Great value for money as well. Would definitely recommend!
Cannot live without a sports bra, have had few so far this is very good - simple and comfortable does the job. have had others with twisted straps, all sorts of other bells and whistles but this one I like the most!!!
Everything about the setup of this bra is amazing. It starts with the adjustable width and Velcro adjustable straps (NO SLIP CLIPS!). Next, the material is super soft and absorbent so you don't feel that gross sweaty cling that other bras can give you. Last but not least is the support. Amazing and firm support that doesn't compromise comfort. It gives stability when running, jumping, yoga, etc.. but doesn't feeling like it's crushing your lungs. This bra is a dream for anything active. I'll be back to buy more in more colors!
Really great bra! works as a high support for smaller-built girls too. fits perfectly - tight but not constricting. Keeps you dry through solid workouts thanks to climacool. Comfy and flattering. washes and dries well, doesn't lose its shape or elasticity. The only way to improve would be to add in some slight padding, but it's not a biggie. Recommend :)
I am really pleased with this bra. Yes, it was a bit of an initial challenge to get it on, but I figured out the secret -- keep the back fastened on the first (widest measurement) and undo the Velcro shoulders for the first try on. Then adjust the shoulders and you're good to go. Very comfortable!
The support is better than I expected. It's a bit tight, though. Color-wise, I picked orange and it's brighter than on-screen. It's nice, though if you like orange, especially if you have olive or darker skin like me.
Nice looking sports bra. Got the orange in an XS and the colour is really nice and bright. The fit is a little loose for me not tight enough and not enough compression so it's a bra I only wear for light exercise but it's still a great bra that I'd definitely buy again
Really love the colour, it's much more vivid & prettier then the image shown for this bra on Adidas website. It's a great bra but not really for high intensity workouts/exercise as it doesn't have enough support & compression which is a shame as it's a nice bra. I found it not tight enough in the shoulders & also around the body so that's why it's not suitable for high intensity workouts but other then that it's a great bra for every day wear or low impact activities.
The write up implies that you could wear this for running, but I wouldn't be comfortable doing that (at least not without a proper sports bra or compression top over top). Great for cycling though and dries super quickly! Looks great, really comfortable.
Bought to go under a running vest. Usually I wear crop tops rather than sports bras, but this one offered no real support. Ended up having to wear another top underneath this one for running. On the plus side the orange is a nice shade and the material is lovely. Expect to wear a sports bra or another top underneath if doing any high impact exercising.
I tried this on in a store and the medium fit me perfectly, but I needed white and they didn't have it in my size, so I ordered it on line. The fit is acceptable, but a little tight, it cuts into my shoulders a bit.
I usually wear a 34 B and got a medium, a perfect fit. I don't like padding in my sports bras and tend to go for compression, so this is great if you're like me. Even on the hottest florida days or longest runs, this keeps me cool.
This is my new favorite bra to wear for work outs. When I first got it, the band was very tight, uncomfortable tight. It took a handful of times wearing it for the elastic to relax. It is super comfortable now. It also helped to make it easier to put on. It's still a bit of a struggle, but it's not too bad. It's very supportive and it looks really good on too. It is so difficult to find a good sports bra like this; I highly recommend it!
I've only given this product 2 stars because the moisture wicking feature isn't really benefiting the bra and here's why: The interior of the cups are lined with a mesh, then a pad, and then the third and final layer is your moisture wicking material. I've read that this mesh is "breathable." If that's what you're after - great! My goal with the purchase was not to aerate but instead, to take the sweat away from my body. The "gap" between the two cups is also made of the mesh. Again, this did not take the sweat away from that area. The racerback portion of the bra (the back) is also made of mesh. The sweat hung around there as we'll. Lastly, the area that did have moisture wicking material with skin contact was the band at the bottom. For the front, I initially thought this would be a nice place to remove sweat from. But then I realized that the first layer (closest to my body) was the moisture wicking fabric, the second the elastic band, and the third another layer of moisture wicking fabric. The effect was that the first layer absorbed sweat, but the fabric was unable to evaporate the sweat because the elastic band was trapping the moisture in there. That being said, the bra was very comfortable and kept everything in it's place. No chafing. Although counterproductive to moisture wicking, I appreciated the pads while cooling off after my workout so that the gym wasn't privy to my headlights. If you want a comfortable bra, you've found it! If you want one to help keep moisture away from that area, I highly recommend going to a sports shop and looking at the construction of a bra before looking for it online. Lesson learned.
This bra is perfect for me. I want racerback with hook-and-eye closure (I hate peeling sweaty sports bras off my body), which is a hard combination to find. Moreover, I feel well supported. I don't have a big chest- I'm a 32C, but as a nursing mom, my boobs are super sensitive. I hope Adidas will make this bra in more colors!
