micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
I now have 3 pairs of the ultra booat and can't imagine another shoe as comfy as these. I only wear Adidas but the ultra boost are by far the best. Can't get a more comfortable and true to size shoe out there! Defenitly worth the price! Way to go Adidas!
I absolutely love these shoes and have now purchased in three colors. I have low arches and they provide me the stability I need to do all my workouts. I am not a runner, but I do a lot of weight training and high impact workouts. I find these to be light weight, very supportive and true to size. I also like the color selections, although the pink is much brighter in person and not to my taste.
When I first received the shoes, I was a bit disappointed because I wasn't sure if the material quality looks as good as the picture. I kept them still because I really needed a new pair of shoes. THEY RUN SMALL - I have a pair of adidas that were sz8 and they are big on me so I ordered 7.5 for this pair but they are really small!!! I had to make a return and purchased half size bigger. Even sz8 was a bit tight at the beginning but after just wearing them 3 times, they are now perfect! They look SO GOOD with my outfits and they are very comfortable - I especially like that they do not have laces that makes stretching really easy and nice!!! The more I wear them, I love them more!!!
I'm lucky enough to have picked these out as a Parkrun Sweatshop prize back in May this year and wanted something better than my cheap Karrimors. So when I was told I could pick anything off the shelf at any price, I was like a kid in a sweet shop! These were an instant favourite because of how comfy they were in the shop. The upper fits like a glove around my feet and the sole makes walking and running feel as though you are walking on air. Now, historically I tend to get a bit of discomfort with any new pair of trainers which tends to disappear after a few short outings, so I wasn't put off by the tingley pins and needles I felt on my first few runs. However, I have persevered and run almost 200 miles in them but I consistently start to feel the pins and needles effect after only 4 miles and by 6 miles it becomes almost unbearable. It has got better over time and I ran a half marathon in them recently, but they were extremely uncomfortable from 8 miles onwards. Some have commented on the durability of them, and while mine are not falling apart, the black grip on the soles wore down to flat very quickly. Something I wouldn't expect from a pair of trainers with such a hefty price tag on them. I really wanted to get on with these trainers but unfortunately, I will not be spending any money on another pair.
I have high arches and need a lot of cushion for my runs. With my custom insoles inserted , these are the best running shoes I have tried on so far . So plush and great ventilation for long runs. my feet never feel hot or sweaty, even after a 1/2 marathon. So far I have ran 3 races in these shoes and i can always hashtag #PR in my race photos. hahaha. Yes, They are a little more narrow compared to nikes, but i feel like the snug gives my foot extra support. My foot doesnt' feel like its sliding around in my shoes when I run; it stays in place comfortably. A big plus about these shoes is that even after 250 miles, they still look GREAT! it retains its shape so nicely. from afar, they look brand new still and I like how the dirt wipes off easily (I have black shoes so idk about the white boosts). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for beginner runners, averaging 15-20 miles a week , or running 1/2 marathons.
I really wish they would make these shoes with the Primeknit or techfit or some kind more stretchy forgiving fabric/structure on the top. The whole bottom of the shoe feels well constructed, seems to give support and stability - but the toe box is too low in these shoes- making them tight in the toes - need more room in the front!
I'll make a few comparisons with the Adipure 360.3, even though that's a trainer instead of a runner. Bear with me, please. Pros: 1. Having a full-length Boost sole in a running shoe is luxurious. It's very cushy and bouncy, yet extremely flexible. I'm a mid/forefoot striker, but in these shoes I can easily shift to rear-foot striking if I need to—and my heels don't scream at me in protest. 2. The bevel in the Boost sole seems to stabilize the shoe a bit: I can do single-leg deadlifts in this shoe, as long as I don't shift all my weight too far to the front of my foot. I don't really recommend these shoes for single-leg activities, as they're definitely runners—but I'm pleasantly surprised I'm not all wobbly while balancing in them. (If you've ever tried to balance like that in a pair of Pure Boosts, you know what I mean.) 3. The upper is stretchy and very breathable. I wore these sockless for 10 minutes on a treadmill, and there was a noticeable breeze running across the top of my feet. 4. As with the Adipure, I love the bootie construction. No detached tongue to fuss with, and I get full lace burn protection. 5. The outsole is grippy. Right out of the box, the outsole was actually too grippy. It sounded like I was walking across a sticky movie theater floor. 20 minutes of walking/running in place on carpet and a yoga mat solved that. Cons: 1. Sizing runs long. I wear an 8 in the Adipure, with a comfy half inch gap between the tip of my big toe and the interior front of the shoe. In the Ultra Boost size 8, that gap's a full inch long. I'll try a 7.5 soon. I bought the 8 instead because I thought the smaller size might be too narrow. 2. The plastic lacing system is a rigid cage that makes the shoe too tight on my wide left foot. (It doesn't aggravate my right foot at all.) I guess the thick plastic's meant to lock down the midfoot, since the fabric upper's so stretchy. But the cage is very unkind to wide feet. To fix that, I changed my lacing technique on the left shoe: I completely skip the 2nd holes, and lace the others in typical crisscross fashion. I also don't lace that shoe too tightly. This lets the second pair of plastic stripes skim my foot, while the other stripes provide support. It keeps the cage from digging hard into my foot. So far, it seems to work well. 3. My heels slide out a bit. That's partly due to the long sizing, I'm sure. But also, the Ultra Boost's collar is looser than the Adipure's—probably because the shoes don't use the same kind of fabric upper. (My heels never slip out of the Adipures.) And the heel counter isn't really locking me down. Wearing thicker socks doesn't help much. Hopefully a smaller size will make a difference. 4. I'm pretty sure the outsole won't last long, especially after seeing other people's photos of worn-down nubs. If I keep these shoes, I'll definitely have to rotate them with other pairs. If the smaller 7.5 size resolves two of those cons, I'll happily keep 'em.
These shoes are a good combination between the bouncy boost sole and also a good amount of support. These are flexible enough so that I can add insoles with no issues. I am able to wear them out of the box with no break in period or irritation because of the soft flexible fabric at the top of the shoe and in the back by the heel. I can wear these all day!!
I was very hesitant about these shoes, but once they were on my feet I knew I'd love them, they're extremely comfy and look awesome! (at least in gray color that is actually kind of greeninsh metalic gray). Fit is true to size and width is average, which is perfect for my slim feet, I've used them for gym workouts mostly but I want to to try them on my morning walk/runs, but even if you just want a beautiful and comfortable pair of sneakers to walk around town these are a great buy!
My boyfriend ranted and raved about his boosts and was telling me I needed a pair. We do a lot of walking/exploring NYC and I always complain about my feet hurting. I decided to buy these and it was probably the best purchase I've ever made. I was a bit skeptical about spending such a large sum of money on them, but I definitely do not regret it. These are the comfiest sneakers I have ever worn. I own 3 Nike Frees and a pair of Roshe and the comfort level does not come close. I might have to buy a pair for the gym as well!
These shoes are very very comfortable, I feel like they run just a tad big and I wish I would have gotten a half size smaller as after wearing them a month they feel even bigger. Also, the right shoe heel area squeaks when I walk so I don't wear them in public.
I love the original boosts - best shoes I have ever owned. I was an early adopter and I am on my fourth pair of energy boosts. The ESM's fit nothing like the original and I would move to the Ultra, however the sole on the Ultra does not hold up. I hope the new update on the energy boost brings back the original toe cap. I concur with many of the folks that have written reviews, the original boost was close to perfection and had taken a step back with the energy boost 2 esm.
Well, the name says it all....ULTRA BOOST! This ULTRA BOOST shoe gives me perfect feet. I have been running for years and I think I've tried every shoe out there. This shoe is AMAZING! Right out of the box it's beautiful and you can go for a long distance run right away. The ride is smooth and forgiving. I will never run in anything else......ever. The ULTRA BOOST is like no other. I can really enjoy my runs now without having to think about my feet. I can concentrate on true running form without having to think about having to change my running form due to wearing ill-fitting shoes. I will never ever bewithout the ULTRA BOOST. I buy three at a time so that I will have a new pair readily available. This running shoe is like a slipper. It envelops your foot in a cloud of stability and protection. I could sleep in it. LOL! It's that darn AWESOME! ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST ROCKS!
I was hesitant to shell out the $$$ for these shoes, but I loved the style & have enjoyed my previous two pairs of Boosts (addicted much?!). In the past I have been able to wear my of Boosts with workouts approx 4x/week (30 - 60 mins), so I figured it would be worth it. I don't run, but primarily use these shoes for circuit training and plyos. The support and cushion that Boosts provide for my knees and lower back is awesome. These shoes are truly a pleasure to work out it. If you can afford it, I think they are worth it.
Having purchased many of the supernovas previously, this new boost is only average. The shoe has minimal spring/cushion when compared to running shoes. The sides now stick out awkwardly of this updated model when the previous shoe did not. I hope the next model will be more streamlined and feel more comfortable to wear.
I fell in love with the original boosts....and continue to wear them often because they are perfect...but warn down.I bought 3 different pairs of "newer" boosts and like them, and can wear them, BUT, I don't LOVE them like the original. The hard plastic is too confining, and I don't like the tongue being one piece. I wish, wish, wish WISH you would consider bringing the originals back. I would buy a boat load of them myself and am a great advertiser! Ask anyone...if I like something, everyone knows!!!
Bought these shoes at adidas outlets for 50 dollars or so they are so great super comfortable definitely would buy again I'm usually a size 5 i got them size 5 1/2 because i like the extra space when running if not i hurt my big toe
Buyer Beware. while these are wonderful running shoes... you need to know that if you come into the house after running in the rain, these shoes are like ICE SKATES! When wet, these have no traction at all on tile floors!
I love this shoe. I have been wearing the Energy Boost for the past 2 years and loved that model. So I struggled if I should try the Ultra Boost or not. I spent a few extra dollars for the Stella McCartney version because I really liked the colors and the design elements along with having full functionality for a solid running shoe. I've had a few pairs of Stella shoes in the past and they have lasted a long time. Fit: very comfortable, I have wide feed and the knit upper makes it easy on my foot; it's hard to see from the pictures, but I didn't realize that it has a sock fit where there's no tongue. I've never had a shoe like that, but it fits really nice Style/colors: very versatile to my running/work out gear and looks great to also wear around town with jeans or shorts.
Adidas constantly feeds into my addiction to their apparel and insanely cute and comfortable shoes. Ordered these in three colors. Feels like I'm walking on a cloud, and they fit perfectly snug around my feet for insanely comfortable support. WORTH THE PRICE
I have been running distance for quite some time now, and I have to say I have finally found a shoe I completely love and will never change from. I've tried the minimalist approach with shoes, and found that I liked how light weight the shoes were but there was absolutely no cushioning for my feet. After 18+ miles my feet were spent. These shoes are light weight even though they are not minimalist (10mm drop I believe) but I had no problem transitioning back into a non minimalist shoe because these shoes do not feel heavy or clunky. The mesh on the top is absolutely wonderful. It allows for a breathable, flexible fit. You can actually wiggle your toes in these shoes, which I love because sometimes on long runs I feel like I need to wiggle my toes around! The mesh is also surprisingly warm in the winter time too. This shoe also really fits well around your foot, which gives a great supportive feeling. I highly recommend this model over the newer Boost's because of the flexible material on the sides (right where the 3 stripes are). On the newer model those stripes are made of a hard plastic and they literally dig into the sides of your feet. Not comfortable at all. So if you are looking between this model and the new ones I recommend these!! I am going on my third pair of these and have trained for 3 marathons in these Supernova Glide Boost 7s. I am never going back to another shoe!
I purchased this shoe in the navy, which I really like b/c it's not easy to find navy shoes for women. Style #S77551. My foot is narrow and I wear a 7.5. The length and width of the shoe is perfect. The first thing I noticed when I first put it on is that it felt high in the back, in the heel area. So I'm anxious to see if I am going to like this or not and also if this will affect my heel (blisters, discomfort, etc.) so I might have to place another review to update. Right now I am wearing them indoors to break them in to be certain I like them. One thing I would like to know is whether or not this specific shoe is a Neutral shoe. Could someone from Adidas answer this, perhaps? I am hoping to wear this shoe in the upcoming TCS NYC Marathon. Breaking them in before I make this decision. I hope I am going to like these. :)
Adidas! I love you! But, you have ruined this shoe. I've owned two previous versions of this shoe - the first being the best fit I've ever had. The second version the toe box was less snug (I like it snug, but stretchy) and the midfoot cage went from synthetic leather to plastic. This latest version has an even bigger toebox and the same plastic midfoot cage...boo! The shape of the toebox has also changed. If I could find the 2013 version of the energy boost, I would purchase many, but for now, I'm going to have to look elsewhere for my next road shoes.
I am a recent convert to Adidas. I have the Adidas Supernova Glide and Adizero Boston Boost; I use one as a trainer and the other as my racing shoe. For my age group, I can often place in top 3 (rare recent Master's win in 12K). I am getting ready to run a couple cross country races in a series and I was steered to the Adizero Adios because the traction the nubs underneath would provide. Out of the box, I was shocked to find the color on one has green trim with pink laces and sole and the other has pink trim with green laces and sole. The pictures online only show one shoe. I ran just 2 miles to try them out. I felt a lot more of the ground than I expected and I kept focusing on the nubs I felt under the left foot and also felt very flat-footed in them. I ran slower than is typical for me. Another note: these feel the longest of the 3 and I like a snugger fit (all 3 are same size). The weight of under 7oz is a big departure for me so I will give them 2 weeks and see if I can find a place for them in my running.
I've been running for 15 years and have gone through A LOT of shoes. The rep came to our running group and let us try them out on a run. I was instantly in love with how flexible and comfty these shoes were. Zero breakin time. The price is really high compared to my previous shoes but I've never worn and loved a pair so much. I put 20-25 miles on them for 6 months. They probably would last longer if I'd rotated them but that is how comfortable they are - I didn't want to wear my other shoes. Perfect for long distances like halfs or above. The orange is also a pretty soft neon and not the bland looking peach color like in the picture. Glad to have color choices other than pink and purple and gaudy color combos. Classy shoe!
