micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
The back of these shoes is way too high, it caused a blister on my heel within the first 10 minutes of a run. I had to take them off to get back home. Other than the back of the shoe being designed horribly, they fit like a glove. Although they did hurt my arch after running as well. Not impressed.
I want to love them, they are the comfiest, but they squeak soooo much it's ridiculous! I work at a hospital and everywhere I go it sounds like I have water in my shoes. For $180 a pair they should not squeak like that. Also when training indoors the insole slips within the shoe. So disappointed.
These shoes ran stiff and the edge of the front inside rubbed on my pinky toe so much that they were very painful to run in. I thought I would like this more structured shoe than the ultra boost. But I prefer the ultra boost and will return these to get another pair of ultra boost.
I have had my ultra boosts for about a month now while running 12-25 miles a day as well as wearing them casually. They have shown no wear and tear and feel as comfortable as the first day I got them. These are such nice shoes and have made me not want to leave adidas for my future shoe purchases.
The back of the shoes is too high for me. It caused blisters on both achilles after 10 min of running outside. I had to fold them over to get back home. I had them altered and the back cut and lowered and now they fit perfectly. This is my first Adidas pair, I owe 5 other running shoes , different brand that never caused any issues, even brand new.
I absolutely love this shoe. I've tried various brands, styles, etc. and ran for several years in what I thought were comfortable, supportive sneakers. Having purchased these based on a recommendation at the shop, I now know the difference. I can run far longer and far more comfortably in this shoe than any other I've tried. Believe me, that's an exhaustive list.
These shoes are great! I have flat feet and very little natural cushioning on the balls of my feet. These provide great support and cushion. I can run without pain. I've tried a number of other brands and I always come back to Adidas.
Maybe it's just my feet, but the backs are way too high and really irritate my heels. Also, though I do have naturally flat feet, after a few blocks in these my arches kill. Otherwise the sneakers are quite comfy on the balls of my feels and pretty cool looking.
THE MOST COMFORTABLE RUNNING/WALKING SHOE EVER! I have high arches and a very particular toe on my left foot. I have tried several different brands and styles but all were lacking in one way or another. On my way to buy the Ultra Boost I stumbled on to these and really liked the design of the Color Core Black / Black (BB4017) Pureboost X. This shoe is like no other shoe I have every encountered. It literally fits like a glove. I always size up in a running shoe and did the same with this one and for me it was a good decision. The shoe has a glove like feel with amazing arch support and it's like walking on air. Plus the design is really cool! what other shoe has a floating arch support? Good job Adidas.
I just ordered this pair and another pair of ultra boosts. i really wanted to keep the PureBoostx but the back of the shoe digs into my achilles tendon- its pretty irritating. The suspended arch support is different but nice and fits pretty snug. overall they seem like a great shoe but unfortunately I cant get over the the back of the shoe digging in to my achilles. so disappointed because i really wanted to keep these.
This was my 4th pair of the energy boost - I had the first version and two pairs of the boost 2. Very disappointed in this one. The arch is more narrow and the heel rubs on one my feet. I like the update of the upper, but the other updates are not good.
I really wanted to like this shoe. The design is cute. I have slim feet and they fit like a glove, which I loved. They were lightweight. However, they just rode up way too high on the back of my heel. It irritated my achilles tendon, and I could tell that wearing them for a long time would be uncomfortable. I would love to have the shoe if the shoe could be reworked to ride lower on the heel, like other running shoes.
I wish they could have more colours. I worn it to the gym and also going out. They have such a good comfort, but not as soft and flexible as pure boost. They fit perfectly on my foots and truly comfortable.
I have accessory navicular and found this shoe supports the tender areas of my feet. Some shoes feel like extra strain is placed on my arches when I run. These shoes don't affect me negatively when I stand for long periods of time, walk, or run. They are super comfy!
Such a nice running shoe! Has a good amount of cushion, and last for so many miles! Only complaint is that the arch support is lacking, but that can be fixed with an insert and makes for an awesome pair of shoes!
Feels like walking on clouds. Only moderate arch support if you need this. Very funky style. I get lots of comments when wearing these. They fit a half size smaller than the regular boost shoes. I take an 8.5 in most sneakers, but an 8 in regular boost, and 8.5 in ultra boost.
I like this shoes, because: 1. They fits perfect on my foot; 2. the midsole is freaking comfortable; 3. looks good and foot is not sweating. This shoes get two stars from me, because the design of this running shoes is not unfinished. After one week synthetic sidewall panels was started to touc a midsole and making a noise and vibrations i can feel when I'm making a move. This is not good and unpleasant.
This shoe is a very small fit in the length even by adidas standards the laces don't extend down as far as the ball of the foot so can't lace tightly enough in the right places if you have a narrow foot. The adistar boost are a better option for me
Arrived today and sadly they are also being returned today. These do not look at all like trainers that cost 105 pounds. The fabric on it is thin and would most definitely eventually wear, particularly at the toe. The large white foam at the bottom of the shoe makes it look quite cheap. I am a size 8 and that's what I ordered but they felt too tight which is the main reason I am returning them. I have slender feet yet the width of these also felt tight. Also if, like me you have hammer toes you can clearly see the imprint of your bent toes on the top of the fabric on the trainers which is not a fantastic look. Overall I feel it's pretty cheap quality for a 100 pound pair of trainers and I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.
Runs REALLY big. I ordered my usual size, 6.5, and when I received them, I thought they sent me a half or one full size bigger by mistake. There is at least an inch between my toes and the tip of the shoes. I loved the design, how sturdy yet light they are, and everything else about them, so was so sad that I had to return them. I totally would have exchanged for size 6, but all the smaller sizes were already sold out. Super bummed. Don't get me wrong. These shoes are wonderful. Just not properly sized. I do recommend to visit actual shops if you can to get a right size.
Love my shoes! Only problem is and it's a big one is within 8weeks I start noticing the threads breaking in the toe section. I run 12-18 miles per week. Please Adidas make the toes stronger. I can't run in anything else!
I have been looking for a light weight, yet comfortable shoe like this for a long time! I am so glad, I found these!!! Perfect for running indoors, as well as outdoors! I still can't believe that I went to so many stores, trying on shoes that just didn't fit right, until I tried this one! I could have saved so much time by just getting these right away:)
Beautiful design and material for summer however the shoe fit an entire size too big! The entire shoe is mesh like which also made the shoe a looser/wider fit...I am a size 7 in almost all sneakers/runners I own. My mum is a 7.5 and she will fit them with an insole. I ended up gifting them to her because they are very much a nice design but the sizing is way off!
I pronate and this shoe was recommended to me by a foot specialist. I bought a half-size too big so will have to exchange the pair, but it is still very comfortable and works well to keep my foot in place.
I did a 5k warm up this morning on pavement and a chip trail and had terrible shin splints in my right leg at the end. They were like lead on my feet. I couldn't wait to get them off my feet. They're comfortable for walking, more or less, though for $180 you could do a lot better. There is also zero arch support in them, something that wasn't very noticeable in the store because there's so much padding in these shoes all over. It's feels good when you first try them on, but while running it feels very unstable.
