micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
Bought these shoes as a few people had recommended them to me. They certainly feel a lot more sturdier than normal trainers so hopefully with the extra sturdiness the confidence should build and start lifting big. The only recommendation I could give is to go a half size bigger as they are rather tight, unless they give slightly
Bought these for my son for Christmas in a 10 which is the same as his adidas football boots. They were too small so ordered in an 11 and they are perfect. Would recommend that if you are used to buying adidas you go at least a half size or even a full size larger. Must say the return and refund of the original pair was easy and straight forward.
I am a woman and always have trouble finding gear that isn't pink or a horrible 'girly colour' so I was thankful I found these. I also have wide feet so always a problem to get shoes that fit me, these shoes were a gamble that paid off - nice wide fit and very solid without being heavy. Really good for novice weightlifters like me, I can feel the different in the power of my deadlifts and squats in these shoes. The only vaguely negative thing I would say is that the top of the shoe toe can curl in and squash your toes a bit if you're walking about or stretching in them but the shoe outer is soft so there is quite a bit of give anyway, just not really a shoe to walk around in a lot! I use different trainers to walk to the gym and change into these just for weight sessions.
I have always lifted with my dead-lifts and squats bare footed. However having these has really allowed me to keep my stability and and actually lift a lot heavier than before. Would defo recommend to any serious lifter. Really comfortable and love the fact that they allow half sizes for best fit.
These are my first pair of weightlifting shoes, I bought them after watching some videos about how they can improve olympic lifts etc. They fit perfectly, i'm a size 10.5 in adidas shoes and they were exactly right. The delivery was a little late, but I'm no rush as I am currently building a weightlifting platform. I would definitely recommend.
Very nice shoe and looks aesthetically very appealing. Provide a stable base and are very comfortable. It doesn't get 5* because the fit was slightly narrower than expected and, when worn with thicker socks, they feel tighter - although I naturally have wide feet. However, it's quite negligible and their purpose is to provide stability and that's exactly what they do.
I typically workout barefoot but made the switch to a WL shoe because I am joining a weightlifting club. I like the heel, it is not too aggressive but provides a sold base from which to lift. Would definitely recommend.
I was nervous about the fitting of these liftingshoes, but they fit perfectly! The colour is not quite what i expected as it is much more vibrant and neon (I ordered the green pair) but I do like it though.
Got these for my boyfriend for Christmas. As he has never owned a pair of adidas shoes, he was not sure of his size but I ordered his normal size and it fit perfectly! He was so excited to wear it for his squats as he is a powerlifter.
I purchased these shoes as a gift to myself for sticking to a strict routine in the Gym, involving progressively heavier squats. I've been doing the routine mostly in Converse, due to the flat, sturdy sole. However, as I got above 100kg, I felt my feet slide slightly to the sides, which is where I decided to invest in these. They are great shoes. The fit was perfect, they were double boxed for delivery and I'm very happy with my purchase. They feel well made, they have laces and a strong velcro strap to really strap your feet in (and prevent that slide I mentioned earlier). The sole is solid and slightly elevated, which I find sets a good angle for me to squat better. I would not recommend using these to Deadlift due to the thickness of the heel (do it barefoot) - but I would certainly recommend wearing these for Squats!
Bought these as a Christmas present for my son. They look and feel good and came highly recommended. I'm sure they will fit the bill perfectly as all his football wear are excellent quality and fit. Will update if any different
My boyfriend is into lifting and I don't have a clue about it so was a bit of a gamble getting these shoes for him! He loves them though and said they fit perfectly. I love the colours too the yellow is more of a lime green but looks great with the black regardless!
A great purchase to compliment your weight lifting program. As soon as you try them you instantly feel more stable as they have great grip to the floor and feel very secure round the ankle particularly during heavy lifts
Great shoes! I wasn't quite sure what to expect because it's my first pair. Have been just using converse up to now. Would definitely recommend them. My feet feet much more secure and rooted with squatting. They are a tad longer than my other shoes but the width is just right. The laces and strap mean that you can fasten them tight to you.
Have used these for squats and feels a lot more stable! Have tried these with sumo deadlifts too but they feel slightly too elevated and leverages are thrown a little. I ordered my exact shoe size but they do come up quite tight but nothing too bothersome. Overall, great pair of shoes!
Despite its relatively low heels, this shoe does what it's supposed to do. I have terrible ankle flexibility, however with these shoes I can squat low enough without bending my butt downwards. The physics works! Some people with ankles as unflexible as mine might want a thicker heel section, however these feel like a great starting point. Would purchase again. Be aware that this shoe is not designed for kicking of any kind. Only wear while weightlifting. Even kicking down that one tight rail from the squat rack feels wrong with this shoe.
Ordered my shoes online on a Wednesday, received them on the Friday - awesome. I've had these for 2 months now, good stable shoe for the heavy lifts. Never used this type of shoe before and there is a noticeable difference when trying the major lifts. Get these, you won't regret it.
I would highly recommend these lifting shoes 110% - Since my purchase, my squats have being more sturdy. I can squat with better form and heavier weight. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is in to weightlifting as they help with your performance. This has been one great investment.
The feeling on one feet was great while on the other the heel was not tight enough, and the shoe was sliding when I tried to clean and jerk. Tried to change which leg will go forward but that didn't help, the second shoe felt loose in the heel. I do recommend the shoe as it felt very good on the other leg. I ended up keeping the drehkraft, even though I didn't like it at first.
Been powerlifting for about a year now, hoping to do my first competition next year; These shoes really helped my form and gave my ankles extra mobility. Only down side is the slight compression at heavier lifts, but I still prefer these over chuck taylors for squats.
After lots of research on various brands of weightlifting shoes, flat shoes, cross trainers etc. to try find a shoe I could squat, deadlift and overhead press in I opted for the adidas powerlift 2.0. I like the heel height which is great for squats but not too high for deadlifts. These shoes lock you in and keep you anchored, and it's easier to notice when your form is off. I was also able to add 10kg to the bar for squats in my first workout in these - might just be psychological but I don't think it is. After two weeks of use I'm really happy with my choice, this is a great shoe for body builders and powerlifters and deals well with all the big compound movements. I've had loads of guys in the gym ask me about these shoes and whether they really help - yes they do. I ordered my regular trainer size and they fit tight(ish) as they should and perfect for me.
I am a competitive powerlifter & bought these for bench pressing primarily. They are excellent for this purpose and also for front squats. They are light, comfortable and supportive. Absolute bargain. Great service from Adidas too.
By far the best powerlifting shoes I have seen. I am a novice weight lifter, lifting for 1 year. My deadlifts and squats have improved. I can genuinely recommend these lifting shoes. The shoes are comfortable and provide great surface area contact -essential for lifting performance. Stability and quality of lift have improved. I would recommend these to anyone serious about weight-lifting. Note. I usually wear 9.5 UK size however the shoe come up extremely small therefore the size that fits is 11.5/12. Note they are not available instore to try, therefore recommend order two sizes and paying and picking up in store.
Purchased these powerlift 2.0 shoes as they come highly recommended. have used now on a couple of occasions and they provide a sturdy base for you to squat from, comfortable, and fit just right . I usually go for a 9.5 for a snug fit in trainers as this shoe has a narrow front you may need to size up by .5 of a size. ordered online. needed to exchange to size up adidas gave me the same discount as originally given despite that expiring during that period they honoured the original discount. as always excellent customer service from adidas. In the colour ( black\yellow) purchased they were cheaper than the others added to that the discount received a real bargain.
I purchased these for my 12 year old son who has been after a pair for a while. He found them very comfortable and great for weightlifting. The price is very reasonable compared to others on the market.
