Not the usual Adidas quality

The color and design of this bra was attractive so I decided to try it. Unfortunately, despite the flattering and comfortable fit of the chest band and cups, the straps were just terrible. I was looking to replace some worn out thin strap bras with a few of these bras, but my old bras proved to be more comfortable and durable. I purchased the blue color and the straps were less than supportive and pieces of blue fabric flaked off the straps when I tried to adjust them. The little oblong plastic loops the straps ran through kept turning and twisting the straps when tension was applied. Also, the material chafes quite a bit on my 6 mile run. All of these things added up to much dissatisfaction with this purchase. It had to go back. ... read more

Love it!

When I bought this bra I was scared it was a little too big. However it fits amazing. Super comfy and has a lot more support then I thought! I'm small chested though so not much is needed though. Holds in place without being too tight and hard to take off:) It goes amazing with my adidas three stripe soccer pants too;) ... read more

Close to previous models.

I own a few older models of the Techfit bras, and they work very well for me. I run in them, workout at the gym, and wear them during yoga. I use the medium size and medium strength bra. The older ones are a bit looser than this one, but it fits well enough. I think it will loosen a little with regular wear. Also, the chest seam is a bit higher than the older ones. As a size reference, my normal bras are 32DD. ... read more

Comfortable, perfect fit

I have a couple of other adidas bras, which I find very comfortable. This one is even more comfortable though, if that's possible! The bra is slightly longer in the body, which I think makes it more comfortable. I use the bra for cross & strength training. It washes well - I use the sports cycle on my washing machine. I would recommend & definitely buy again! ... read more

sexy fit

I like the fit and if there is a back hook closure, it would be more easy to put it on without stretching the garment especially if your upper body is muscular. For women of slim built, this is the best fit for you. By the way, this sports bra is not padded at all, it may show . ... read more

Great fit but scratchy bits are a problem

I was really happy to receive this bra because it's a great fit and perfect for most of my workouts (except for maybe long runs; I'd recommend something with more support for hardcore runners). So I promptly cut the tags off and wore it. However, the stub left by the tags was so thick (it is in about 6 different languages and the tags are a little stack) that it actually rubbed my back so much that now I have a sore scab there. I had to rip out the tags but it did take out some stitches. I hope it doesn't make a hole in future. This should really be considered in how tags are sewn into garments like this - take a cue, Adidas, from other brands who instead put really long, easily removed (without damage) tags. Kind of a bummer, actually. The straps also left red marks on my shoulders where some of the stitching was done in a rough thread. ... read more

Learn how to put it on and it'll be worth it.

First off, I'm VERY picky with sports bras simply because of the way my breasts naturally are. I need the bra to fit PERFECTLY or else I'm going with two bras. I wore 2 bras for working out for years because when I tried to wear a simpler compression bra by itself with no cup shapes, I was left with that nightmarish "uniboob" look and feel (most ladies know exactly what I'm talking about.) I'm a full C, sometimes D depending on the bra, so the 2-bra thing was something I've been wanting to rid myself of for the longest time. I work at an Adidas store and found this funky-looking bra and decided to try it on. I will say that the bra is quite daunting at first when you are attempting to just try it on. The way the straps cross over will likely have you saying "huh?" out loud. But I was able to eventually figure it out (after a few minutes of sweating) and, over a year later, I can say this is probably the best bra purchase I've ever made. I actually ended up buying three of them, and none of them show any signs of wear to this day. I know the bra offers fantastic support because I don't think about it when I'm exercising. I work out several times a week. The bra is pretty much true to your normal bra size, and I love how the sizes are based on cup/band sizes (32C, 36DD) as opposed to small/medium/large so that you can make sure that you get a bra that actually FITS. Honestly, the only bad part about this bra IMO is the first few times putting it on because you don't know what you're doing and it just feels like your suffocating even with the right bra size on. But, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the tightness you should be experiencing at first is a good thing. (If the bra's too tight, loosen the straps/clasps a bit, but you shouldn't have to do too much adjusting or else you likely have the wrong bra size.) Let me save you the stress of figuring out how to put this thing on: 1. Unhook the bra. 2. Loosen the straps to at least half the length. This will make the bra easier to pull over your head/arms/torso and keep you from damaging the bra's threading by over-stretching. 3. Pull the bra over your head so that the entire bra is below your bust, near your belly button. Turn the bra around so that the unhooked section of the bra is over your belly button. Make sure the hook sections are not flipped around or else the bra won't fit right. 4. Tighten the straps to your desired tightness and hook the bra together. You obviously won't know your go-to measurement at first, but you will eventually. 5. Twist the bra around your body and fit the cups over your bosom. Put your arms through the arm openings and pull the straps up to your shoulders. Just get past learning how to put it on and I believe you'll really love the bra. Worth your money! :) ... read more

Great bra if you can get it on

This is my new favorite bra to wear for work outs. When I first got it, the band was very tight, uncomfortable tight. It took a handful of times wearing it for the elastic to relax. It is super comfortable now. It also helped to make it easier to put on. It's still a bit of a struggle, but it's not too bad. It's very supportive and it looks really good on too. It is so difficult to find a good sports bra like this; I highly recommend it! ... read more

Favorite for running

This bra is perfect for me. I want racerback with hook-and-eye closure (I hate peeling sweaty sports bras off my body), which is a hard combination to find. Moreover, I feel well supported. I don't have a big chest- I'm a 32C, but as a nursing mom, my boobs are super sensitive. I hope Adidas will make this bra in more colors! ... read more

Good Luck

Ordered this, anxiously waited for it to come, and quickly became frustrated upon opening it. It looks like it would be incredibly comfortable and dependable in a high activity level, but I could not get it on no matter how much I twisted and bent and stretched. I could either get the straps on correctly OR get the back clasp closed but not both. I will, unfortunately, be returning it and wait for them to make a more user-friendly bra for women my size. ... read more

The struggle is real

I love the care and detail put into this bra like the ridges along the band and the soft wicking material along the neckline, but man if this thing ain't a doozy to get on! I'm a big girl and I unfortunately don't have the super power of being able to fasten my bra behind my back. I couldn't get this things on no matter what kind of MacGuyver ways I tried. I knew if I tried to slip it on still clasped, I'd stretch it out and ruin it. I'm sending this back, I'll have to find some better plus-sized sports bras. ... read more

Energy bra gives great support

I found the bra hard to get on as the clasp in the back is hard to do by yourself once the bra is on. I kept the clasp secured & put the bra on that way. Was harder to adjust, but once the straps were loosened a little, the bra was a great fit. ... read more

Overall, Awesome... some minor adjustments.

I work in the fitness industry and have always struggled to find a sports bra that does what it's supposed to. My chest is sort of heavy for my fit/thin frame, and nothing keeps the ladies in place (without the dreaded uniboob look). This bra comes *close* to being my favorite, thus far. I am 5'8" 130 lbs. I typically wear a 32C and that is what I bought. It runs true to size, I would say. Perhaps ever-so-slighty "small" if you don't like your bras to be compression-like tight, as I do, especially for running. But If you have a toned back, you should be fine with your normal size. If you're weary of bra bulge/back fat... or if your back is not your favorite feature, maybe size up on the band. As someone recommended to me long ago, ALWAYS BUY YOUR BRAS SO THEY FIT TIGHTLY ON THE LAST (3rd) SET OF HOOKS. Elastic is known to stretch out over time, therefore... when the bra *especially a sports bra* begins to "break-in" and stretch out with wear, movement, washing, drying, abrasion, and well... generally bending and breathing.. it will continue to fit as it should, even if this means you need to move to the 2nd or 1st hooks to keep it fitting snug to your ribcage. But... to each their own. Anyway, this bra fits that way which is AWESOME! If you're buying your bras how you should be and wearing the "right" size to begin with (as many women do not) it will be tight at first... but wear it around and it will conform to your body with time, I promise. In the long (distance) run, it's worth it! My only complaint is that I would prefer the front to not have a princess seam (like the same style but in the D/DD sizes, for example) This would allow the bra to be more versatile and lay better (flatter) under tight fitness apparel. Also it would give your bust a slightly more "rounded" look. But all and all, I can't complain. I may try to order the a 32 or 34 in the D cup style and see if this fits me as well... sometimes I can go either way (32/34/C/D) and each size gives me a different "look". The D cup style appears to offer a little more fabric and coverage, and would be better for layering vs. wearing alone. This 32 C gives me some cleavage, which I personally like. The padding is minimal, more like a lining cup, actually, which is nice... because I have piercings that elicit attention sometimes.. which I don't always like to advertise to the lovely people on the streets of NY. This nicely keeps things, covered and concealed without adding bulk to my bust. Another nice feature is the glue-dot like grips on the inside of the elastic band (the part that touches your skin). I'm not sure they really "do anything" so to speak... but I'm hoping once I start sweating they will reduce chafing and keep the bra in place. Hope this helps. ... read more

Band + Cup Size - Off Sizing

I wear a 34D or 32DD in other bras...imagine my surprise when after trying on multiple sizes I found the best fit in this bra to be a 36B! In addition to being supportive this bra is very good looking. In fact, I've started wearing it in the pool for swimming lessons with my kids. There is no cleavage/spillage/risk of showing too much - yet, I still look supported and sporty. I also wear this bra when exercising...I am a personal trainer and fitness instructor. My workouts are intense and high impact...this bra can withstand it all. PLEASE make it in more colors!! ... read more
