The first thing I love about these shoes is the way they look. The second? The 2016s have a tongue that stays put. It's attached on both sides so it doesn't slide around and cause the laces to loosen up during a match. Brilliant! Next, there's no plastic to dig in to my ankles like some competitors now have. In fact, they're quite soft all around, but my feet don't get hot. My ankles are stable on account of the wider base at the heel. The kind adidas support person told me these run long. I'm between a 7.5 and an 8, and the 8s fit perfectly. Did I mention how awesome they look? I mean, who doesn't want chrome on their heels?! Also, I drag my toe, but so far there's no indication of that whatsoever.
Super comfortable shoe, breathable mesh and cushiony sole makes them great for running/gym. The one problem I have with them is the loophole for the shoelace isn't very secure, and after about two months of wear one of them ripped and the shoelace became loose and now that shoelace is sort of lopsided. Not that noticeable though, would still recommend.
I had to play around to get the sizing right and the shoes did rub my ankles a little at first, but once they were broken in, they were fine. I have high arches so lightweight shoes are hard for me to wear. So I really liked the arch support and the weight of these shoes a lot. I purchased them either in Jan or Feb and just noticed today that the bottoms are pretty worn through. I've run 2 5Ks, 2 10Ks, and usually run at least 5 miles a week, so these shoes have gotten a lot of use, but i'm still replacing them a solid 5-11 months sooner than I've ever replaced any other pair. That's something to keep in mind if your mileage is heavy!
The style is quite impressive but the comfortability in the shoe is quite comfortable... it feels as if most of the time I'm barefooted ! the only thing is i wish the continental tires at the sole of the foot would last a bit longer than it does.
I always saw others wearing them and as someone who is very physically active, it seemed like something nice to massage my feet after a workout. When I first wore them, they were uncomfortable because the massage-spikes were not worn in or flexible yet. But after wearing them for two days or so, I wear them all the time. And the best thing is that they go with every outfit because they are black and white with a simple design. I would definitely recommend buying them.
This is my third year buying Adidas energy and adios boost - I am an elite athlete logging in high conditioning and Sprint kms as well as agility, adidas out performs all the other brands that I have tried in durability and endurance - I am excited that the adios has the contenential tread (will last even longer) !!! Thanks for making a superior shoe with competitive prices
These shoes and I don't pair well. This shoe is comfortable enough to walk in, but that's about it. First, I am a pretty true 6.5 when is comes to sneakers, this fit slightly short where my big toe would rub a tad against the top of the shoe with any forward movement. The boost "technology" is awesome If you're looking for a shoe with lots of cushion and bounce. I guess for me I look for a shoe that sits a little closer to the ground so I can have more stability. The gap at the bottom of the arch also contributes to that feeling of lack of stability. My feet end up hurting and feeling achy after wearing these for a gym session. I also tried doing a short run and these just killed my feet.
BEST SHOE EVER! Love using this shoe for short runs, weight lifting and doing bootcamp style workouts. Your foot feels amply supported around the foot; like it's being hugged! The boost cushioning is super springy and responsive which is great for jumping!
I got these because i think they look alot more stylish that the traditional ones with the strap and the pop of white with the black sole really sold me. Only thing is if your feet are a little wide wearing these with socks may be uncomfortable.
I wanted a lightweight pair of shoes for just running around in. My regular running shoes are just too bulky. These are perfect. I have wide feet and because of the sock like fit, they work perfectly. The backs come up too high on my ankle, but I just rolled them down a bit and it stays. I love the way it wraps my arch. I have plantar fasciitis and wear orthotics in my running shoes, but I can walk all day without pain in these. I tried a little run in them, but I need more cushion in my running shoes. I wouldn't hesitate wearing them to Disneyland all day though. I have the cute floral pair and I now need to buy another more neutral pair to wear with more things.
These are most comfortable slides I've ever owned. It's like I'm walking on memory foam. Love love love these definitely looking into getting another pair in another color. They do run big so I did size down to a 7 I normally wear a size 8 in women's.
Very comfortable and for a great price! Needed some slides... I like to wear them around the house. These I can definitely wear outside of the house because they have that classic adidas look. Very very comfortable as I am 7 months pregnant and needed something soft on my feet. I recommend ordering a size down. I got a 6 and I normally wear a 6.5-7 in sneakers.
I wore these shoes for 2-1/2 months a couple of times a week. They "Continental" Rubber soles are almost worn out. I only walk, I do not run in these shoes. For this price I would think I should get much more mileage out of this shoe. I love the feel and fit, however I would need to buy 5 pairs to get me thru a year. I'm not a happy camper.
Don't get me wrong I love these shoes. They look great, and they are the most comfortable shoes I have tried, my issue with the shoes is that wearing them cause me serious knee pains, which I'm glad to report that after a few days not wearing the shoes it gets better. But as soon as I wear them again the pain is back.. I am not sure whether it is an issue with my pair of shoes,This could be just affecting me, but it makes me not able to wear them anymore.
I love these shoes so much! I initially ordered 8.5 because I vary between 8 and 8.5 and I read reviews saying to order larger because of the snug fit but I exchanged them for an 8 due to too much room in the toe. The 8 is perfect and I love them so much! So comfortable- they also have great support as I have flat feet! I got the blue and now bought a second pair in the gray. The gray will be for everyday wear and I'll use the blue as my gym shoes!
I have long been an ultra boost fan, but these are off the chain. I love the sock-like fit, and they are beyond comfortable to run it. Super super stylish, I got the light grey and I love the subtle 3 stripes on the toe! Adidas knocked it out of the park with these.
the flip flop material is identical to the one i view online. its sturdy exterior can withstand the weather in my tropical country while the interior is soft and comfy. its also very light too. i would recommend this product to my friends and families.
I LOVE these shoes. I'm a fitness instructor and I only buy Adidas shoes. I have both the Ultra Boost and Ultra Boost Uncaged for running. The Uncaged has more cushioning on the ball of the foot vs. the 1st gen. Ultra Boost. On the 1st gen. there is a slight forward lean (less forefoot cushioning) that assists with forward propulsion while running. Since the Uncaged has more forefoot cushioning, that forward lean is gone, but I also love the extra cushioning. The 1st gen. is a little more snug in the toe box, where as the Uncaged has just a little bit more room. I love the sock fit at the ankle and the padding inside the heel cup feels amazing. The Continental rubber sole also provides a more noticeable grip on the ground over the 1st gen, but I believe you can get the Continental rubber sole on the 1st gen. also. You can't go wrong with the 1st gen. or the Uncaged. Both are amazing. I personally own 2 pair (1st gen & Uncaged), I have bought my fiance 2 pair (both 1st gen) and I recently bought my 15 year old daughter a pair (1st gen). She started band camp and was using a different pair of running shoes that left her with blisters on her toes after marching for 5 hours. She switched to her Ultra Boost and I haven't heard one complaint about her feet hurting. These shoes are good for ANYTHING.
I love love love my pure boosts!!! Love the design, it looks great on foot even with a size like 9.5. The arch is pretty high so my foot had to get used to it, since I don't have high arches, but I love them for walking and jogging mostly. I feel like they slip a little if you do other workouts. But overall-- I want more pairs in different colours!!
I love this product because not only does it offer incredible comfort but after each run, my ankle is a little sensitive. With the new elastic band around the ankle, which is pretty tight I might add, feels amazing to have these on after a run or even during a run.
This shoes are great! Ran a bit small, but once I found the right size I was very happy. Only other complaint is that the mesh on the outside tore within about a week (just a slight tear). Other than that, beat shoes I've had in a while!
I LOVE the style of these shoes (why I gave 2 stars), ok support, enough shock resistance for what I needed (vacation walking). But they squeeze the middle of my feet sooo bad. I have fairly narrow feet and couldn't believe after an hour or two they were hurting and at the end of the day felt such a relief to take them off. I wanted them to be my favorite, but until they can come out with a wide, or perhaps revisit the tension caused by the super unique design, I will have to resist. Also note, they felt fine when I tried them on in store:/
Boy, do I love these Climacool Boat shoes. I just ordered the mutlicolor off the Adidas site after having bought this style last year from another retailer. At first my intention was to have a summer rain shoe but these have fast become my everyday summer sneakers. Light, low profile, and amazingly comfortable for lots of walking about. I also get a sensational grip on bike pedals (I bike commute). I generally don’t like to be without socks but these have won me over to being sockless in summer. The style btw is often admired often by other girls and I refer them to the brand, style and site. Additionally I get a great true to size fit in these which I’m sad to say is not otherwise the case. I’ve tried a few other Adidas styles without sizing success but will keep trying. In the meantime, picked up the cute multicolor option on sale. I’m set until the temperature drops…..
Love the style and comfort - however they were kind of dirty like they had been returned - I didn't expect that getting them directly from Adidas.com ... I emailed customer support but no reply :( but as far as the comfort and style - I highly recommend ...
these slides are so cute I'm about size 5 1-2 in women's and ordered a size 5 and they're perfect. Not only are they comfy and athletic and practical but they're super trendy and can be worn with a street style outfit. Would reccommend
