micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
I've had my watch for about 3 months. At first it worked great and for every workout. Now it has trouble finding my heart rate and mid-workout it will drop my heart rate down lower than 100. I don't know who to call or who to contact to get it fixed. It was working great and want to continue to use it if it works. HELP!
I am a total geek about training devices, programs and data and have had far more than my share of devices after competitive bike racing for several year. I have had the FitSmart for just over 1 year and have used it 5 - 6 times per week every week. Product Quality: Battery life is the same as the day I got, which is more than I can say for my phone. The heart rate monitor is just as accurate as chest strap monitors. Band is very comfortable and durable. Design:Well thought out an complete. The watch communicates with you via colored lights and vibrations to let you know what training zone you are in, if it's the right zone for the workout and gives you 5 seconds notice before a training zone change. You can workout with or without your phone and easily synch the workout afterward. Watch paired w phone allows you to track speed and distance by GPS and stride sensor, heart rate, calories burned, fastest mile and elevation. Micoach Awesomeness: The micoach website and app interface brings it all together. On the site, you can design your own training program, ranging from running races, to sport specific, to general fitness. The programs integrate strength, endurance and flexibility. The programs are periodized to gradually build up your capacity and taper your efforts to prevent overtraining. The running workouts have great variety, from steady state endurance building to intervals to build speed and strength. Adidas teaches you to train the right way! During strength training workouts, the micoach app includes an animated video to show you how to properly perform an exercise right on the screen of your phone. You can track your weight, reps, even the shoes you wore. Their program has it all, if you get geeked out like I do, you can deep dive into the data, or if you want easy guidance and feedback, they make it quick and simple. Seriously, the best overall product out there!
Have used the Fit Smart for about six months while exercising. Never a problem. Accurate heart monitoring while cycling, spinning, running on a treadmill and working out in other ways. Establish goals based on heart rate and monitor heart response during cooling off.
I bought this for personal training, really able to assist someone serious about improving their shot. No complaints, excellent ball (just a bit below Brazuca quality), fast charge, instant data. What's not to love.
The ball itself is great. It is of high quality construction, is easy to charge, and connects easily to the Android app on my phone. The app itself is very good for a product this early in its lifecycle. As an early adopter of the Zepp sensor for baseball, if the Adidas software team is anywhere near as good as the Zepp software team, I anticipate the app will only get better in a few months. It is already giving feedback to my daughter that she has not received in three years of playing travel soccer, and I expect this ball to elevate her game to a point that it would not get to without the feedback it provides.
Currently the only product on the market that always you to work out how the ball is kicked and the what the results are. This helps in improving one's technique to get the best accurate results. One think though, there is no substitute in skill and dedication.
Good product, easy set up and easy to use. I'm using it as coaching tool with my u11 travel team. The kids have fun seeing their stats, speed of kick, where they make contact on the ball etc. and allows me to work individually with them to improve their technique.
Fantastic piece of kit. Easy to use, looks and feels like the typical quality you expect with Adidas products. The information displayed after each kick its great and it also brings an element of fun, so the kids will get something out of it even if an adult is buying it for themselves. If there is a downside, it's that I wish you could get this item in other sizes, as my son is 8 and would get more out of this if it were a size 3-4. Brilliant product though, it will help develop our son throughout his footballing career.
use only for 3 weeks but all good. the colours when your hr changing is awesome and the hr sensor working excelent - use for sweaty spinning classes and the sensor dont have any problem to rating at all.
I bought the fit smart because I wanted a wrist heart rate monitor at a reasonable price. I don't need GPS etc because I already have that on my phone. This watch does exactly what I need it to do, monitor my heart rate (accurately) and tell me when I am in/out of zone by buzzing but not too often to become annoying. So far battery life seems good and it is easy to charge. The wrist strap is very comfortable but I'm not sure how durable it is going to be. The small is a good fit and I do have small wrists definitely buy large if you are male.
In all seriousness, these are my favorite socks I've ever owned in my entire life! It may seem completely nuts to feel such joy for a pair of socks, but I get a little giddy putting them on. So soft, so comfortable. They will eventually wear out...in a couple years...This is the 3rd time I've bought a bunch. They'd probably have to make socks out of kevlar to avoid the inevitable hole most socks get. These socks will last long enough and I will definitely be buying more when they do eventually wear out.
I'm here to win; it is either Adidas or whatever, No substitutes, No Compromises. I have been using Adidas merchandises since late 70's when I played Tennis for college and amazingly ever since they never failed me neither on high quality nor on durability. That keeps me young and going as they still amaze me every time I get their products. Climalite 2.0 even medium is perfect fit for me size 9.5 US and the my wife size 7.5 US. It is a Perfect Fit, Comfortable, No sweet, Cool, with a great support and Cushion and No Smell. Stitches in front are done in way that they are not getting between your fingers or itch between your toenails and tow. It doesn't slip or turn on your feet it is just High Quality. It is the best socks (Feet Glove) I ever wore in an Adidas shoes. I obviously wear them for Tennis, min. 2 hours in every game it is just one of the most amazing thing to feel how perfectly fits your feet while fitting it inside the Adidas Tennis Court shoes from the moment you put them on till you take them off. Most importantly the height cut is so precise that it is neither awkwardly siting too low or high out of the shoes it is an absolute perfection to match the shoes humbly showing it's strips. although this Climalite 2.0 Low-Cut is only a pair of Socks; however, it simply reflects Adidas's tradition with absolute sincerity and devotion to provide their sportsmen and women with a perfected quality of tool to win it comfortably. Adidas Amazed me again and it is just a pair of Socks and I had socks before but not Climalite 2.0 Low-Cut. It's not the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog.
These knee pads stay in place even after playing 3 straight games in a hot gym no tugging and repositioning after every trip down the court. Worn other brands that do not match up with these, only wish they came in Navy!
I was always keen on the Fit Smart and it has now become compatible with Windows Phone. I received my Fit Smart a couple of days ago and have used it twice now for a run and for a gym session along with wearing it as a standby watch. First of all, the fit is really nice, i went with the black colour which i do notice shows up dust but that's not important. The battery life is as good as they say with a half charge lasting four days with two hours of training. I've only used the training in 'Free' mode and it's been great to see my heart rate in the gym. Previously i've used the micoach app on my phone along with the HR strap around my chest. Wearing just the watch is a lot easier. During the run it was great to see my distance and it vibrated each 1km to give me a split update which was very handy.
The texture and fit are nice just to bully, I will say o was looking to use them for socccer, ha. But they would be nice if I played volleyball, but as for basketball would ask for a little shape, and sleeker design
Excellent gadget. At first it was difficult to sync to my iphone 5 s , but they were my mistakes. It's practical , light and handy. It communicates in real time with micoach app and that gives you advantages
The Adidas MI Coach watch is a great tool for any athlete, physical education teacher or anyone wanting to get fit. Reasonably priced but if you want quality you need to pay for it. Highly recommend it to anyone thinking about a new sports watch investment.
technology and sport in unison The smart ball can take teaching to the next level, when Adidas roll out the new firmware updates to include moving ball data the smart ball will possibly become the biggest technological advancement in football history, if you think what computers have done for mathematics, computing data to find solutions in a fraction of the time, then the smart ball can compute the footballers data to teach the solution in a fraction of time. As a football coach teaching players how to shoot and pass the ball is a huge part of training and this is done by repetition, but being able to show each player exactly how they have hit the ball and then teach how to adjust to make that shot/pass perfect is such an advancement and advantage. e.g. Taking my goalkeeper, within a session we have perfected his goal kicks, by using the smart ball app to study with him how and where exactly he struck the ball the spin he generated, and the approach using the video data he was able to make adjustments to create his perfect goal kick and then continue to use the data to recreate over and over until continued perfection, before this session his perfect goal kick had been taking years with trail and error, now Completed in one session and the data has been saved, so when he feels he's not kicking just right we can see instantly where he needs to adjust. The smart ball is already amazing but it's capabilities have only just started
great ball would recommend this. moves well great control. my son loves it. I would recommend this to any budding player it helps with skills as well. its a must buy for any serios training great value too
Simple to use and works flawlessly. The heart rate monitor works brilliantly and the coloured zones make it easy to keep track of how hard your working at any time during my workouts, and has attracted a lot of attention in the gym and when out running. Using this in free workout mode is simple and straight forward and doesn't require me to carry and mess around with my mobile phone whilst training which is a bonus. Going over the stats after syncing helps me keep track of where I can improve, especially when out running. Not having GPS could be a seen as a hindrance, however if you upload your route and manually input your own 'laps' helps you accurately track you pace per KM to help you improve. Also if your working out on a stationery treadmill, rower or cross trainer in doors it wont log how far you went but this info can be updated and added manually after you've completed your work out Haven't tried any of the countless workouts you can download but the ones I've looked at are in depth and look like they would be very effective. Awesome piece of kit and looks good too would fully recommend
this ball is seriously the best ball on the market still from mid 2014 to early 2015. This ball has helped me expert my knuckleball and My around the wall and over the wall shot. Thank you Adidas for creating a ball and app that's like a personal coach
This was purchased as a birthday present for my 14 year old son. It wasn't on his birthday list so was a gamble.....however, it was fantastic, his face was a picture as this is one of the latest in gadgets (unbeknown to me). In his words it was "the best present EVER". It was extremely easy to set up and link to his I-phone. The delivery was very speedy and was packaged well, so no signs that this was a football. I now have a garden full of teenagers or should I say budding world champion footballers!!
If you plan on buying these then I advise you to order a size up then what you initially think, and also order another one two sizes up (return shipping is free). The sizes are all over the place. I am about a 15" (5'11, 176lb) calf but the large was very tight. Then I ordered a XL and it's still pretty tight. Would've loved to try out the XXL but I need these for a game pretty soon and don't think I'll receive the other pair in time. Other than the grip on the sizing it seems to offer a good amount of protection and the pads flex to your movements.
There are so many great features that made my workouts easy and goals very clear. It looks good on the wrist and was very user friendly. Perfect for a person just starting out or a more serious athlete.
I have been using the FIT Smart for several weeks now and it has exceeded my expectations. After playing with the watch for about 15 minutes I was able to get a good handle on the interface, which is very simple. It has three buttons, a multi-purpose "select/home" button and two scrolling buttons. What I really like about the watch is that it doesn't have excess features that you won't want to use. It has several useful modes (assessment, free workout, planned workout) and that's it. Simple. Syncing with your MiCoach app is done via bluetooth. The watch actually looks pretty good too. I have a black watch and wear it most places. The watch is almost entirely covered in rubber and is easy to keep clean. From the coach perspective, I have used these watches with my athletes to prescribe them workouts during their off days or when rehabbing injuries. You have to create a MiCoach profile for them, but after you do that, it is easy to have them do the assessment workout and then assign them conditioning based on their HR zones. Just an FYI it seems to work better to run the assessment test outside as opposed to on a treadmill. Regardless, you may want to run the assessment several times before using the HR zones. This will allow you to get the most out of the test.
