Overall this is a great shoe - I would recommend it and it feels and looks like a premium shoe. Buy if you want a high quality shoe with great traction, good impact protection and support. Avoid if you want something minimal and light or hate having your toes bang against the forefoot. Here is my breakdown: Comfort - between the neoprine ankle collar, boost cushion and Primeknit they are quite comfortable. Traction - best I have tried! Works well on clean or dusty floors, minimal wiping need to keep the outsole sticky (I have the solid outsole shoe though - the translucent may attract some more dust). Fit - a bit narrow and long - if you have a wider foot the Primeknit is a better option but I would try in the store. Lockdown - heel lockdown is fine but I find my foot sliding forward in the shoe. Thus, I end up banging my toes on the front of the shoe at times and it would have been nice if the inner shoe had more padding there or if my foot was just locked in better in the mid and forefoot. In the defense of the shoe, I think any shoe with traction this good will probably cause your foot to shift inside the shoe. Support - A good deal of support around the heel plus a raised section of the outsole on the outer portion of the forefoot keeps your foot for tipping over or moving much laterally. Cushion - Fantastic in the heel area - great impact protection without being too soft. The boost thins out a lot in the forefoot and they use a hard stobel piece in between the boost in the insole so the forefoot cushion is pretty firm and responsive - I would have preferred the forefoot to be softer but it still has some compression to absorb impact. Looks - they look great, can wear them on and off the court no problem. Durability/Quality - I haven't had them for long so I can't say for sure but the build quality seems quite high (the outsole rubber does not seem meant for outdoor play though). There is also some coverage on top of the Primeknit on the outside of the medial toe to keep the material from ripping if you drag your toes. Other thoughts - the shoe is pretty heavy and you notice it on your foot so I would think some might find it bulky feeling.
Best basketball shoe I've worn to date. I usually go for a shoe that supports the ankle as well as overall comfort . I got a size bigger than what I normally wear and it feels great. Not too big or too wide which was something I was afraid of getting a bigger size.
Loved the shoes at first. Had the all black one. One day when I was putting on the shoes, it decided to rip. I wasnt holding or stretching it too far or anything, just gently pulled the back hanger, and ripped just like that with only less than 1 month of wearing. Very pull quality!
The shoe has very nice traction. I ordered a 10 in men's in the shoe is so huge if I were to order it again I would get a half size smaller. Also if you have a wide foot it takes a long time to stretch out. All together I would give this a 8 out of 10 very good shoe but some downfalls.
Great shoe although the sizing is weird with it fitting pretty narrow for a wide foot and also pretty long in length. Would probably recommend a half size down as the primeknit means it doesn't actually feel narrow anyway and it is still very comfortable.
These shoes look great and are very comfortable. However the heels are too wide so my feet kept on slipping out of them although I tried it in 2 different sizes. I don't think a lot of humans have very wide heels and narrow toes, it should be the other way around. These shoes are great if they fit you well.
High quality shoes. Very comfortable and has good support all over. This shoe does tend to run narrow. I have wide feet and even with a half size up from my true size, I need to go up 1 full size for feet to feel comfortable. Feels like you can move in any direction.
Shoe fits a little wide, but is super comfortable. First few days of wearing them, they are really stiff, but you'll break into them after a few days. One concern with wearing them is worrying about black sock dye transferring to the inside of the shoe and keeping the primeknit clean. Driving with them is also weird because of the middle of the bottom sole missing.
The all white tubulars absolutely look great and feel great. They run a little bit wider than Nike i would say, however they are so much more comfortable than any other shoe I've ever worn. They're great for me because i have to walk a lot of places, and the shoes are surprisingly durable and comfortable. This shoe is single handedly the reason I'm buying more adidas shoes in the future.
No secret by now how comfortable Boost is...so I already expected 5 stars there. What I'm most impressed with is the grip on the translucent outsole. I do a lot of cutting and direction changes on the court and I felt secure the entire time. This was my first Primeknit pair of sneakers and I really dig the fit and flexibility. This won't be my last pair for sure.
I love the Stan Smith prim knit better than the leather ones. I got these shoes not to long ago and wanted to clean them. I took of the insoles and there is masking tape!!! THAT IS A HORRIBLE WAY TO MAKE SHOES MASKING TAPE UNDER THE INSOLES I'M SO UPSET I PAID 110 FOR MASKING TAPE SHOES.
The form is, surprisingly, very fit in my feet, as it normally looks pretty big! I really love how it looks! However, the top of the shoes is very uncomfortable as it rubs my skin, as it made of hard materials.
I'm very glad I tried these shoes on in a shop before I ordered them - normally I'm a UK 8 but these seem to come up very small, so I have ended up with a UK 7. Having said that, I am absolutely delighted with the shoes - they're comfortable and look awesome. I would definitely recommend them, but maybe try them on in a shop beforehand.
I heard it ran large so I decided to half size down I'm normally a 6 but I got a 5.5 it was still too big ik disappointed their cute and all but I don't want clown feet I lost my return receipt so now I'm stuck with them
Have been waiting for these to come back into production as owned a pair of the green ones that were limited when they first came out so really pleased the production run is larger this time. These shoes do get dirty fast as the prime knit acts as a sponge and is difficult to clean as there is backing that absorbs the dirt but is fine if you don't mind owning them for a short time and buying new ones - or if you don't mind them getting dirty!
I had my eye on this pair of shoes in the color pink and I wanted them for a getaway so I ordered them and they came just in time but I realized that they were to big I ordered a size 6 youth so I called all of the stores near by and they didn't have them in the color I wanted I was really upset that I couldn't get them for the getaway. So the next time I went shopping we stopped at the adidas store turns out I was a size 4 1/2 so I was going to order them the right size but we stopped the foot locker and turns out they had the color I wanted and the size when the same shoes have been sold out at every adidas I was so happy to finally be able to wear them they are so comfortable love them so much! Just a tip this shoe actually runs bigger so the 6 was huge!!!
This is by far the best pair of basketball shoes I've worn to this date (I've had Jordan28 / 29, D Rose6, Curry 2.. just to name a few). The cushion is a bit firmer compared to DRose 6, but it gives you better court feel, and feels lower to the ground. These are perfect shoes for guards. Love it! Highly recommended!!!, Thanks Adidas!
I actually love the shoe and it's by my favorite athlete/basketball player. My only problem is that it's too narrow for wide feet. Although I've only walkyd around in it for an hour I guess you can say I haven't really broken it in. Hopefully that's the case.
These shoes are very comfortable, the primeknit material forms around your foot and flexes with it as you move, I've been using them for volleyball and the cushioning feels fantastic. The only issue I have with them is that for ME they are a little high on the ankle which i don't like, if you are looking for something that forms around the anklebone, you might want to find something else because these cover that area. ALSO one thing i did notice was that these shoes are a bit heavy, if you are someone who likes lighter shoes this one might be a stretch for you Traction is very good as well, havent slipped once yet after playing with them for a week, and on some fairly dusty courts.
This is by far Adidas best basketball shoe to date. You get the cushion of the Crazy explosive in the heel and the crazylight feel in the forefoot which is Perfect. Superb traction and amazing all around comfort from the soles of your feet to up around the ankle area. D Rose is definitely going to be back in MVP form because of this shoe. It isn't the highest priced bball shoe for no reason...
Really nice trainer, comfortable and looks great. Slightly too small imo, I'm a size 10uk in all of my shoes but I bought a 9.5 after reading reviews on here, but found them too small, so will send back and order my usual size.
Phenomenal shoe! The bounce sole provides amazing cousin, great traction even on dusty floors, primeknit is extremely comfortable and breathable while keeping your foot locked down! Color ways could be better, but all around brilliant shoe for a great price too.
