Rated 3 out of 5 by Looks nice, but still a basic windbreaker... It looks nice and has the BAA/Boston Marathon logo embroidered on it, but still a basic windbreaker that lacks in features you might find on a jacket that's half or 2/3 the price. I read the reviews and had low expectations for value, so this is OK. The shell is 100% polyester with no spandex for stretch and the inside is mesh. Nothing on the hand tags about water repellancy, so I'm guessing there is none. No inner pockets -- a feature I like-- although the outer hand pockets do have zippers. I'm only running Boston once, so it's fine and I recommend it if you are buying it for the logo and know it's overpriced for what it is. As for size, I'm petite (5'3" and 114lbs) and don't have long arms and the arms on the S were fine, as was the fit overall. March 14, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Satisfied I just bought this jacket and am satisfied with the purchase, but slightly disappointed in a few things. The jacket is of great quality and looks very nice. However, it would be significantly better with a drawstring around the bottom. It feels as though there should be one, and the drawstring would make it much more comfortable, not only to run in, but to wear in general. Also, the sleeves seem to be just a bit too short. I ordered a small, which is my normal size, and the medium would certainly be too big, as is. If there was a drawstring around the bottom, though, I would exchange my small for the medium in order to have the sleeves a touch longer. This is my first year running Boston, so I will keep the jacket either way. For the price, I expected to love it. January 22, 2013

I am 5' 71/2", short torso, long limbs 122 lbs and normally wear a small but ordered up a size to the medium. The sleeve length is perfect and the shoulders just fit. The small would definitely not have worked. The bottom of the jacket is boxy but the yellow side panels visually bring it in. The jacket is bright and bold and will get you noticed. I initially ordereda small..which I normally wear..and was disappointed that it was too small...even the upper arms wear too tight. I quickly ordered a medium and returned the small. My charge card was credited within a week of the return. The medium fits perfectly and the quality is great. I had to call customer service with a problem that I was having ordering the medium and they were awesome...answered the phone right away and very helpful, courteous and patient. Thumbs up to Adidas. Rated 2 out of 5 by Sleeves too short I'm 5'5" and got a medium because I've heard Adidas runs small. The jacket itself is too wide, but the sleeves are too short. I basically need a small for the body of the jacket, but probably a large or extra large for the sleeve length. And no, I don't have long arms, I'm very average. This is just a very poor design. I'm so disappointed because getting the Boston jacket was something I was so proud of; it's sad that I probably won't wear much. March 17, 2013

I was surprised at how heavy the jacket actually is, I thought it would be more of just a wind breaker but it actually has a little substance to it. Rated 4 out of 5 by Had to get one It was my first Boston, and after reading the reviews, I had decided not to pre order this $100 jacket because I didn't think I'd ever wear it...honestly. But...when I got to Boston, everybody was either wearing theirs or wearing one from previous years. Again I considered purchasing one, but didn't think it would be worth it. After the bombing, I had to order one as evidence that I had been there. Besides, I will want to wear it next time I go, to honor and remember the victims of that tragic day. April 26, 2013

I usually wear size medium, however I found the arm length was too short so I had to exchange it for a large. I recommend ordering one size up to get the correct arm length. Besides the arm length, the jacket fits perfectly and is great quality. I love the colors (especially the bright blue) and the design! January 30, 2013

I'm so glad I was able to buy this jacket before they were all sold out. It's a good quality lightweight jacket, it fits me perfectly, and the colors are awesome. Rated 5 out of 5 by love the retro styling I read the reviews about the arms being short, but ordered my usual size anyway (S), because I didn't think I would wear a baggy jacket. The sleeves were the tiniest bit short, but overall the fit is great. It is lined, not a basic windbreaker. The details are flattering and the fit is perfect. Now, just need to finish the race so I can wear it! The colors are true to the image on the website - bright blue and yellow. I'm 5'7", 125 lbs. April 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Will need to be tailored.... If you are tall and/or long waisted this jacket will fit like a bag. My decision every year is whether to get the small size and have a jacket that somewhat fits around the torso and is too short, or to get a medium and have a jacket that is long enough but has about 6 extra inches of material around the torso. I am 5'10", 140 lb, usually buy Medium size items. This one I had to get Large (thanks to previous reviews), shoulders are tight and sleeves are short. will have to insert a string or an elastic at the bottom - can fit 2 of me there! March 21, 2013

This year, when something did, I wanted one more than ever, and was afraid I wouldn't be able to find one. I would normally be a small but so many reviews said that their clothing runs small so I opted for the next size up. It would be great if there was a draw string around the waist of the jacket but other than that its a good light jacket. May 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 Good quality Compared to the 2011 shoddy product - printed on decals and with zippers that didn't work, this is very decent quality. I didn't purchase last year's so can't compare. But they are back to the embroidered insignia and the zippers seem sturdier. Would still much prefer the ones made by Image Impact prior to 2010. Now there was a jacket!!! April 6, 2013

As the reviews warned, the sleeves were short and the waist was HUGE. I decided to return it for a medium. I'd rather have short sleeves than be swimming in this thing. Ended up having to get the men's version instead - which it is why I rated it as average. I am 5'3" and 120 pounds, I bought the medium so I could move comfortably in it while running or over something when doing errands.
