Very good quality materials. Make sure you wash it inside-out (I remember that from when I was a kid) and I wouldn't recommend putting it in the dryer. I had one of these jackets when I was a kid and LOVED it so much I wore it out! This jacket seems warmer & thicker to me than I remember, which is a bonus. I have a large bust (34DD), but thin waist, and I usually wear a size medium or large jacket depending on the brand. The large is form fitting but not tight. The medium would have been too small.

i have owned the hot pink and silver version of this jacket for quite a few years now and i have absolutely adored it. it has survived many family trips and parties and still looks brand new. but i bought a medium and it was slightly smaller when paired with a shirt underneath. (i normally wear a medium shirt size) so i bought a new one in a large size. i was beyond excited to receive it in the mail. absolute perfect size and i have worn it many many times since receiving it two weeks ago. will be sure to buy another to add to the collection. hope this helps!

Part of the trefoil from the black/metallic gold jacket came out after 1 wash. Had the jacket exchanged at my local store & made sure I hand washed it carefully the next time. Trefoil was ok, until I discovered crack lines on the trefoil print after folding the jacket. The adidas logo is broken and I am beginning to think this might be a batch problem. If not for the trefoil print, this jacket would be perfect.
I own a power pink/white too and the material used for the white print is different (harder) from the trefoil print used for the black/metallic gold version. So far so good.
Did I also forget to mention that I own a white/silver version of this jacket and it is fine after many washes in the washing machine?

I am 5 foot 2 and only weigh 90lbs but I feel like I should have gotten a Medium. I usually wear an XS...after reading the other reviews I ordered a Small but I feel like I should've gotten the Medium.
So order two sizes up!

Both my friend and I tried on many Adidas warm-ups at a local sports store, but they didn't have the colors we wanted. So we went on line and ordered this item in the same size we tried on in the store. It does not fit the same as their other track jackets. The body and arms are shorter and the jacket is much tighter. We are both dancers and runners with not much body fat and we would need to order the next size up. We are both 5'6" & 5'8" tall and this was too short for both of us. We were very disappointed.

This is a nice jacket, worth the buy, but size up as many have suggested in their reviews. Clearly, from experience, their sizing is way off and I'm sure it is costing them with the never ending returns. The fit is also imperfect. The specs are off.
I got the navy blue/red in medium and it fits well even though I am a size small.
Free tip/idea:
I wore it zipped almost all the way up over a tank top with some raspberry dress pants and navy-blue heels.....perfecto. All colors matched spot on superbly.
I am an out of the box stylist and a tall drink of water with great taste. I'm very, very picky and particular, which is why I turn heads 360 degrees like an owl, breaking necks.

The jacket is beautiful but way too small! I read the reviews that it ran small but did not listen :( So for anyone reading this, even if you are petite, do not get an xs unless you are a size zero or less!

I have a big collection of track jackets, and if you have boobs, you have no choice but to get a womens LARGE if you want it to zip all the way (and i am not that busty) and then its to big... im a Med in everything and your jackets hardly fit like a MED-- also they shrink in the wash without putting them in the dryer., ALSOOOOOO
Im disappointed in you lately Adidas-- the colours for your jackets are so BORING.. bring back the neon and stuff thats interesting so im not wearing the same lame jacket colours ! get awesome again Adidas or I am not buying anymore of your jackets!!! :(

I love this jacket. I have it in 8 different colors and never get tired of them. They're super comfortable, warm, great zipper, fits nicely and slimming, covers the neck just enough when it's cold/windy and gives me enough freedom to move around. I always get compliments when I wear any of them and can't wait to get it in more colors once they come out!

This is a great addition to my sporty wardrobe. It is just warm enough to wear on a spring day or fall afternoon! The color is bright and the fit is perfect. I have received so many compliments on my "old school" jacket! I would highly recommend it. I purchased a small and it fits perfectly!

based on some of the other reviews, and my experience with the supergirl jacket, i decided to order 2 sizes just to make sure i got the right fit. i'm always a size M, so i ordered that and a L, as some reviews said this style runs small. i tried the M on first and it fit perfectly. i'm returning the L. i noticed this style in black/gold was out for a while - maybe they fixed the fit. i love it!!

I have already received many compliments on this jacket. No regrets with this purchase.
The only comment I would make is that it is a snug fit. I am a small on top in everything else but I wish I had bought a medium--which they didn't have. However, its a personal preference b/c I like my jackets a little loose fitting. Also, I have a long torso and a medium might have been a little longer which would have been ideal.
Still love what I got!

I love this jacket. I purchased the matching pants and collected compliments the entire day from the hardest critic available--Highschool girls! I teach physical education in NYC and these track suits are fashionable and functional. The bloom/white color is girlie and athletic rolled into one. I feel like sporty barbie in it and love it:)

I got this track jacket to match the pants, and I have to say I love the whole ensemble together. The outfit makes you look 'put together', whether you're going to the gym or running errands. I typically wear an XS in tops, but I found the jacket too run a little snug, so I got the S.

As stated in a previous review, it's best to order your apparel one size larger than your actual size unless you like your sportswear to fit tight. The jackets run small just like the pants, otherwise, the product is excellent.

I got the mint one, ohmygosh. It is so comphy the inside is pretty soft. It does run kinda small, i went a size up and it fits pretty well. But it's a little big right under the arms. It's a good length and didnt shrink up too much when i washed it. Though, the colors are slightly different than on the website. It is really bright, but everytime i wear it someone complements it! If you're kinda iffy about getting one, do it!

I ordered the black/super pink jacket and pants for a xmas present for my wife. The jacket and pants are primarily black, with three stripes on the side - pink stripes on the outside and blue on the middle stripe. The blue stripe did not match between the jacket and the pants. The jacket used lab blue, and the pants had a light blue stripe. Product was returned.

Well I hate writing neg reviews but this jacket was bad...the shipping was free and on time which was good but when my gf opened it on Xmas both of us noticed right away the big Adidas symbol on the back of the jacket was so worn down it should have never left the factory...anyways ill b shipping it back for a new one ASAP...bummer my lady was pumped I remembered she tried the same jacket on in Vegas but they didn't have her size!

I purchased the Original Firebird TT in Black/Metal Gold. I ordered the jacket for my 17 year old daughter who is 6'2" & 143 pounds. She's lean & long. The large jacket was tight and the length of the arms were way to short. I think the jackets are cut small so order one size larger. She loves the jacket! The quality and look of the jacket are great so we are going to try an extra large.

This jacket runs very small and it has a big Addidas logo on the back of it. I was ready to return it as soon as I saw the back of it and then when I tried it on, that was it.
Color is good and fabric is OK, but somewhere along the line, it got skimped and cheapened.

I purchased this jacket to go with my matching Adidas pants. This jacket fits comfortable, not too snug and not too big but I still have room enough to move and zip it up with comfort. I went with the extra large just so that I could fit a long sleeve shirt under it in the fall or winter months.

This is a very cute color for a cool summer day/night... It's a little sheer where you can see any color that you put on under it. Runs pretty true to size. I'm 5'3" 135lbs and got a small in the top. I'm a 34C and it didn't feel snugged. I'm happy with the jacket, but not so much the pants.

I ordered black/gold, and was very pleased with it, but also ordered a blue and found the material and fit quite inferior to the black/gold. I returned the blue. Then ordered the navy/red, and found once again the material to be inferior to the navy /red, and the fit not quite as good.
