ran last couple of years in original Adios (yellow, red, green) everything from mile to marathon...ran prs across the whole spectrum from 5:50 mile to 2:41 marathon, I am in my 50"s, even did all training runs in the Adios...when new Adios 2's showed up in States back in late 2011 my original thought was Adidas botched it by making shoes heavier bulkier etc. however after a couple of races in the Audios 2's I realize this new version trumps the original...although minimally heavier there is a real sense that this new version is faster...better foward propulsion, better durability more effective cushioning...what little is given up in 'feel' is more than offset by the Continental rubber strips on the sole and the traction gained accordingly...the Adios 2's defy logic...this is the equivalent of what Porsche does with its' 911...the do everything sports car that gets better with each new version....the Adios 2's rock my world

I bought these looking for a light shoe for some distance work, and thus far it has fit the bill perfectly. I feel FAST in these shoes. I took them out on a 20 mile training run my 2nd day in them and they felt great. They're a neutral shoe, so if you tend to under/overpronate you may only want to consider these for shorter distances (e.g., a half marathon or less) or go for a more supportive Adidas shoe, like the Mana.

I bought these shoes for my track season last yr. I run the 1600 and they are the perfect racing shoe. Training, meets.. either way you can run with them anywhere. They are very light weight and okay for people with a hight arch.. I would recommend buying a shoe insert like I did though. Other than that you can pretty much wear them for any distance or speed. I'm planning on buying another pair for this years highschool season. These shoes wont dissapoint you..

Bought these shoes for running a marathon and had to buy 3 pairs of them.
I used to have another pair of adizeros but these ones really took it to another level. Great stability and they offer a lot of protection and cushioning for runners who overpronate.
I'd definetely buy these, again.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Mazungo Bring Back the Original Adios
The original Adios was an iconic marathon shoe of premium quality. As for the Adios 2 however, this shoe is a disappointment. Overall, the update takes what used to be a nearly perfect marathon shoe and turned it into a novelty act. First, the heel cup you added is essentially dead, useless weight that will probably do more harm than good by causing blisters. Secondly, the chunk of material you took out in order to make room for a Nike+ chip-like device ruins the homogeneity of the left shoe and seriously compromises its structural integrity. Most importantly, the shoe is much more rigid than the original, which restricts the foot from naturally cushioning the impact associated with each stride. This rigidity found in the Adidas 2 doesnât allow for the dampening of vibrations induced by each footstrike and results in a shoe with significantly more chatter.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by E WIZ NOT TO BAD
When I bought this shoe I thought there would be a bit more padding on the shoes. On the bottom it is like plastic so feels weird but on the plus side it does give amazing grip. Also the sole of the shoe is thinner then I thought. But not to worry because the shoe is so light so it makes up for it. You should only buy this shoe if you are a strong runner. All in all a good shoe.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by BlueRunner Some pros and cons
I just bought the adizero's Orange/lime green. The sales man (a triathman) told me these are the best distance shoe adidas makes. I tried them on and fell in love right away. I'm writing this review after 2 days of running in them but to me it seems like there is a lack of cushion. They are very light weight and are a mix of a racing flat for distance and a sprinting shoe. I feel fast when i run in them. The only con i have to the shoe is the cushion, but maybe that's just because my feet have been sore.

To be honest, I have always run with Nike. When I heard Haile Gebreselassie wore these, I gave them a try. I am now an Adidas runner with these mind blowing shoes. The best pair of running shoes I have ever had.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Average Running Chick So Far So Good
I tried on the Adios this summer and promptly fell in love but couldn't afford the price tag until now.
I went with brand loyalty and got a lightweight trainer in the brand I'd been wearing. It felt heavy and rarely snug like I like. So while awaiting a sale and while training for my fall marathon, I trained in racers instead of the trainers I bought.
I've been seeking a lightweight--but more substantial than a racing flat--shoe and this is it.
The sale came at just the right time as I head into winter and want a little more than mesh in the toe box.
I have worn these on a 15 miler and couple of 6 milers so far--in chilly weather and not so chilly weather and am loving them so far.
I think I have found my new go to shoe: sturdy but light and fast.
Time will tell I guess.
By the way, these run kinda narrow which is good for my narrow foot. My street shoe size is 6.5; my racers are 7; in this (the unisex model) I wear 5.

I really like this shoe, for the traction on multi-surfaces, low heel height, and smooth ride.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Stefan J Great for running even if no-pro
The shoe is great. But make sure to be established mid-fore foot runner. The grip is great on tarmac or in the forrest (too rough use Adizero XT4).
In a lot of reviews they say that you need to run a half marthon in 1:30H. Don't why.
What I've notice is that they are tight in the toe region and you might want to add 0,5 or 1 to your current size.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jihova Great Running Shoe
Since high school I've been wearing more of the "endemics" like Asics, it wasn't until recently I've been trying out adidas and I've got to admit they're making strides.
Overall, the adios 2 was what I was looking for - lightweight with great stability. I've used it on runs on both on the road and trail. The only aspect that takes some getting used to is the breath-ability; so, I wouldn't recommend this with the rain.

Oh my i got this shoe yesterday and i break them in immediately, i noticed the feel of the shoe on the ground was tremendous, after a few miles my legs are still great and i cant believe how adidas was able to combine comfort + performance! This is by a mile the greatest shoe i ever own and if possible even in my sleep i will wear them! Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DanG Incredibly Comfortable and Light
These shoes are so comfortable it's not even funny. I'm extremely picky when it comes to this and I have to say that I am impressed. The only thing I am a bit worried about is the light mesh at the top and the suede that looks fragile, but probably isn't.
