Rated 3 out of 5Â by Hengst2404 Not for the wide of feet
No way around it, I tried 2 different pairs in two different sizes and I simply cannot wear this. They are just too darn tight on my feet. The one run I got in resulted in barely being able to walk the next day due to running in tight shoes.
For me it was far less about the length and all about the width. My feet are just shy of being rated wide, so a tight shoe like this, that doesn't offer a wide version, will not work for me.
May be a great shoe, but until they offer a wide size, I won't be able to try them.

I wanted a new pair of shoes to deploy with and I'm a sucker for new technology. I wear a 10.5 so I ordered an 11. Should have read the reviews and ordered an 11.5.... The shoes were way too tight to run in and I don't have time to wait for the return and resending of a new pair since im leaving soon and NOBODY in Orlando stocks the shoes. So I returned them to an Adidas store and took my money to finish line where they hook up military with 20% off. Got a new pair of Asics for about 70.00 and they are amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Billuphill We need boost trail shoes, boost helmets, boost...
The best shoes ever.
Soft, not mushy, very lightweight, very flexible, less heel lift, great protection from gravel, sock-like fit in forefoot, 1/2 size larger fit than usual Nike, Asics, or Brooks, stay soft on cold days, and have not disintegrated yet.
I use them with RRS' soft cushion insole.
Have been using Vomero's on the road and Adidas Trail Response on the trails in recent years. Vomero's are mushy and plush. Trail Response's no longer sold in the US--try Germany.
Where is the Boost trail shoe?

Rated 5 out of 5Â by The Grillos runner Perfect for running! Very comfortable.
I was selected for Adidas to test the new Boost Running shoes. I was at work when I received the package, and immediately I put my shoes on. I felt like I was jumping when I walked. So, I said, I cant wait until next morning to start testing my shoes.
I do like Adidas because their shoes usually are light and comfortable and this is not the exception. My feet fit perfectly in the shoes (by the way, you have to order half size bigger), you feel like the shoes are part of you.
Next morning I started testing my shoes, I usually run between 4 - 5 miles a day. I felt a nice change, the cushioning and the lightness are a perfect combination. The shoes clearly have improved my running, I am using them to go to the gym as well. (I ordered a pair of shoes for my wife already...you know how ladies are... jajaja, I will ask her to write a review after she tests them.)
My recommendation would be to introduce more colors, because runners normally like bright colors.
I want to thank Adidas for this great opportunity.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Duke of Earl Best Running Shoe Yet!!
The website says to purchase 1/2 size bigger then your normal size. I found that I needed a full size boost on the size from a 9.5 to a 10.5 in a NEUTRAL running shoe category. It feels like running on air. Nicely built and fitting very snug.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Chasqui2 Best cushion ever
The cushion and the bouncing of this shoe are terrific, as promised by adidas. My only comply is that the upper is too tight, I have never had that problem before with any other shoe, that is the only reason I don't rate it with 5 stars

Rated 2 out of 5Â by StuckInKuwait First time, last time?
I was in the need of new shoes since I'm in the Army and run at least three times a week, with a distance that ranges from 3 miles to 6 miles. I also use my shoes to do cardio twice a week. The shoes I had are a year old next week, so yeah, I was in need of some new ones.
I found out about the Energy Boost the day they were announced by one of the guys in my tent. Oh, I'm deployed to Kuwait right now... fun stuff. Anyways, I put the order in immediately since I tend to always want whatever's new first. Being in Kuawit, I realized it'd take longer than the scheduled 27th February delivery date, and indeed they arrived four days late.
At first sight, I was taken away by how great they looked in person. Really just blown away. I was excited. New life. They felt much lighter than I expected to too. Not as light as my current shoes, but still surprisingly light. I have a PT test (2 mile timed run, and 2 minutes of push-ups and sit-ups) tomorrow (March 8) so I was pumped that I had these in time. And then I put them on.
I'm a size 9 with my shoes. Every other brand I own, whether the swoosh, the off the wall guys, the boat guys shoes, and pretty much every other brand... size 9. Where I am the PX doesn't have any Adidas in stock so I couldn't check out how they run, but I had faith and ordered a 9 anyways.
So yeah, slipped off my boots, and slipped on my new Energy Boost. And then my heart sank. $150, 3 weeks of waiting to arrive, and just heart broken that I knew I'd have to wait another month or so to return the shoes and get the right size back.
Adidas' size 9 is more like an everyone else's size 9.5, maybe even 10. I immediately emailed Adidas to see if I could return them, but not before at least trying it out. After a confusing email, I found out that I could indeed try out the shoes and return them via mail within 30 days. Awesome, I thought.
Monday morning came and that's when we have about a 7-8 mile run. The first 2 1/2 miles are on a hardball, the rest off-road on a mix of hard ground and straight up desert sand that just eats your feet alive. These shoes do. not. give. At all. Way too tight in the middle, and the plastic thing on the bottom of the shoe, I felt that thing each and every step I took. That night my feet were cramping.
Never has this happened before with any shoe I've owned.
I know it takes a bit to break in, and I gave it a 5K on Wednesday and 4 more miles today, with cardio on Tuesday and it still is killing my feet.
Sadly I will be returning the shoes and just going back and buying another pair of my old shoes.
I really wanted this to be my new shoe. Loved the looks, loved the color choice, the new technology seemed extremely promising but it just isn't meant to be. Maybe next time, Adidas.

The past few years I have really been into Solomon brand. Like the fit and design in cool also. Recently joined in a "fun run" where Adidas was a sponsor and had demos to try. I ran in the Boosts 3 days before they came out and fell in love. Completely different feel than my Solomon trail runner. I guess it does matter what terrain each shoe is designed for! Solomons are still my go to trail running, but any street runs my Boosts hands down improve my experience. Great shoes! Thanks Adidas

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Party Boost for marathon
I bought the Boost for a marathon. I wanted to try the shoe. I had a very difficult time trying to find my size (14) anywhere and whne I was told that the shoe fits a little tight, I got nervous. When I got the shoe I enjoyed it very much. It is a totally different feel than anything else I've ever ran in. During the marathon the shoe did feel incredibly tight, probably because I tied my laces too tightly. However, I would recommend this shoe to others, just be ready for a different feel.

A great innovation that Adidas has adopted as their new technology. The quality as well as the performance is surprising. The upper part of the shoe feels as if you have a glove around your foot. The cushioning in the front and rear also surprised me. The torsion works perfectly with these shoes, it gives you better take off with each step while running. I ran 6 minute miles with these shoes and the stability is awesome!
Will continue to train in these shoes for a sub 3 hour marathon.
