first of all, I am not a competitive runner. I also am an inconsistent runner meaning I run 6 months in a year - 3 to 4 times a week @ 5 miles at a time. I also do not know anything about running shoes and I don't have any idea what kind of feet I have. I suppose I just have normal feet.
I have used Adidas running shoes, Asics Gel, NB, and Nike. I noticed that after 3 miles, a part of my feet would hurt - sometimes my big toe, sometimes my ankle, sometimes the ball of my foot. I would also have some back pains 60% of the time after running/jogging.
So I bought the adipure motion the other day. I went for a 5 mile run the next day and I was extremely surprised how light it is and, most of all, I did not feel any pain on my feet or back. The only pain I felt was on my thighs and calves which are the right places to be sore after you run. I was amazed that my feet felt as if I didn't run at all. I never thought that all shoes are the same but this shoes proved me wrong. One more important thing, it was also the first time I ran without socks and it was very comfortable - no blisters at all!
I highly recommend these shoes. To me this is the best shoes ever. But, then again, I am not a pro and haven't not tried many running shoes so I can only speak for my personal experience. My advise is to try the shoes first before buying it. I will get the adipure gazelle after 6 months running on these shoes as it is more advanced than the motion for minimalist running.

I run and do crossfit. I bought these because I like shoes with few "seams" than can cause rubbing on my feet. I am a lifelong Adidas guy but have worn Nike Air Presto's in the past and was happy to see an evolution of this style from my favorite brand. I actually love the laces color but I don't really have a problem with pink even though they are orange. I get tons of compliments. I wouldn't WOD out in them as they might tear but great for a run....I have too many pairs of shoes but will be getting the other colorway as well....

The shoe is truly great, it is beyond comfortable. But like I said, the laces could use a less girly color. (In real life they look more like pink) Let's put it this way I was told that if I was going to wear those I should put other laces on them. Oh, and I didn't even ask, I just showed.
That said you can always go for the black ones, though then again those laces might look a bit funky in person as well.

These shoes are awesome. I love them, best thing I've bought in a long time. Colors are perfect- I wish they had this color option for other shoes- especially when customizing. I wish the other shoes in this serious had more of this orange color cause its awesome.

I love them. Great color, pain free and goes with all my adidas gear.
It feels a little tight on the upper part of the shoe, but perhaps It just need to "mold" to my feet as the time passes.
