Rated 3 out of 5Â by Ultimate Frisbee player Cleats for Ultimate
I play ultimate frisbee and got these cleats because they were light and had a toe stud, both key features in ultimate. When I got them and tried them on they felt kinda cheap (not sturdy and made with lots of plastic) and had absolutely no padding. The rim of the cleat where your ankle is dug into my foot a bit when making quick cuts and the orientation of the studs on the bottom did not feel as sturdy as other cleats I've tried on. I can't make any recommendations for buying these cleats for football, but for ultimate, I don't think they are the best cleat, there are definitely better boots out there.

I was shocked when I first held the cleat in my hand; itâs lighter than anything Iâve ever felt. I knew when I joined adidas Iâd have the best equipment and cleats, but the adizero 5 STAR blew me away. If youâre a speed guy, you have to have this cleat. It doesnât make any sense to get anything else, light makes fast.

"Iâm lucky enough to have worn adidas during my career at Nebraska, so I know what the three stripes are all about. Speed. But, when they showed me the adizero 5 STAR and I held it in my hands, I felt like I had to sit down!! I canât believe how light it is. And it looks sick! Thereâs nothing, literally NOTHING, that compares to the adizero 5 STAR right now. Itâs game over."

Rated 5 out of 5Â by runningback amazing cleats
i recently purchased these cleats for some indoor tryouts for a provincial team. I must say these are the lightest cleats i have ever felt, they fit snugly, and are great for cutting. The only problem i had with the cleats was a little discomfort around my big toe's but nothing that would slow you down.
The width of the shoe is very narrow, but narrow is how i beleive all cleats should be as it allows absaloutly no room for your feet to slide around within the cleat. I beleive that this allows the athlete to cut faster and harder then a cleat with a loose fit would allow. overall great cleats, i will defintly be buying these again for my next season. Unless adidas releases something even lighter by then.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Castro Great Cleat
I had read a lot about the weight of these shoes but when I actually held them in my hand it is pretty ridiculous. They are a little narrow but I always have an insole in all my cleats so I don't even notice the width. I was a little skeptical about the traction due to the soccer cleat-style, but they feel great and have great grip on turf. The only thing I would say is that you either need to wear thick socks that cover your heels or get your heels taped because these cleats can wear on them. Overall, it is a great cleat and adidas has consistently made great products.

Without a doubt the lightest ever made. Even if ur not a fast person these xleats will feel like socks and make you lighter on your feet. One thing tho TAPE YOUR ANKLES! They fit nice but offers no ankle support. The traction is amazing. I'm a WR for golden west college in Huntington beach check me out #10

These are amazing cleats the lightest thing i ever put on feel like I'm running track all over again. I get the best traction out of adidas product but these cleats surpass anything I've ever tried on I'm a 4.3 40yd guy and this surely can help me out especially at the CB position. support is great. anyone who doesn't get support out of these u have weak ankles period.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by triguy Good purchase, small problem
These cleats are super light. I bought them to play Ultimate, and they perform great! They are exactly what I would expect from a performance shoe: light, stable, sole is rigid in the right directions for cutting but flexible to allow good running form. The spike pattern is nice, definitely does not feel like standing on pegs and gives very good traction.
My only issue with these is that the top inner part of the shoe (where the top hole for the laces is) digs into my ankle while making cuts and sometimes just running. Like, right into the bone protrusion. This caused me to blister pretty badly. I had to cut away the material in this area to avoid this problem. I searched online to see if anyone else has had this problem, but didn't find anything, so it is probably not a widespread problem.
Overall these are great, except for having to cut away shoe material for my personal situation. I would recommend these to any football or ultimate player, as they are extremely light and great for making cuts.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jack Y Best Cleats I've Bought, But...
Lightweight, Stable, Great Traction. The only thing that takes away from this cleat is the fit, it's narrow and very stiff. Other than that definitely buy these cleats!
