Too long for a regular height eight year old boy. I got a couple of these for this spring but I will have wait till next winter. The quality is good and I would recommend it to a friend only if the kids were tall for eight/nine years of age.

Purchased this for 10 yr old daughter. They were quite large. The boys 10-12 can fit size 8 women.
