As someone who is rather tall, the length of these are great, but the waist is a slight problem. The waist is rather big in my opinion, and although the pull cords keep the waist slighter tighter, they tend to be very baggy on me.
Overall these are a great looking boot that perform well enough, but I think they're more to check a price point box than they are a staple of the line. Fit: I find the length of this boot to be about right, I wanted to try these after coming from the Magistas. I found the Magistas had to be a half size bigger than my normal shoe size to get the fit I was after. These ran exactly as my sort of "average" shoe size. The mid foot is a little snug and you can expect a little soreness on the outside mid-foot for a few uses until you get your laces dialed in right. I do find I have to keep the higher/top laces slightly more loose to accommodate this, which doesn't quite lock my heel in the way I would prefer. The toe box/forefoot is quite spacious. Performance: touch is very nice, not the softest boot of all time, but more than thin and soft enough to be comfortable with the ball and get a good touch. I do however find that with a quick change of direction and hard plant that my foot slips a lot. As in, I don't recall slipping this my outdoor in turf shoes. Maybe this is unique to my experience, but it's a cause of concern for me. I think the "sock liner" is mostly for aesthetics, as it doesn't really provide the locked in feel that I've grown used to from a sock-liner boot, but I like the seamless feel of having no tongue to slide around. Overall I think this boot is available for price point. I don't know that it's the price difference between than the boot below it if you're looking for value, nor do I know if you're really getting enough of a value to go with this over the boot above it. The fit is good with adjustment, the feel is good, the boot is attractive, the overall performance is so so.
My Predators were getting close to retirement, so I purchased these a few weeks ago. The blue ones had just released, which was great because the green was too bright for me. Took them out to field before a game to break them in, but they were super comfortable from the start. The Primemesh/sock-like thing takes a second to get into because its a little tight, but it adheres well once your foot is in. Overall, great cleats, would recommend.
These boots were great quality and a great fit....my son lives for football and was delighted with them... the 25 per cent discount was an added bonus...i have bought a lot of boots off your site and really cant fault the product ease of ordering and delivery
Having bought and worn many pairs of football boots over the years I have always been interested in the innovation of these products and how decisions are made in terms of ending certain lines and replacing these with new lines. I have had adidas boots since having Adidas Valencia in the 1980's and have done the whole journey from World Cups through Etrusco Unico, Predators, F50's, X Boots and now the Ace. I am still getting used to these but from the first time that you put them on you feel that a lot of the recent incarnations were preludes to this moment. Light, snug but robust. designed to feel part of your foot but also to offer protecton, the design is fantastic and reminds me of the Predators worn by Zidane and Backham circa 1998 but with a modern flourish. The round studs are a welcome return as ACL injuries are more common place in women's football and this should alleviate some of the problems caused by blades and traction studs. They look fantastic on the Telly and gorgeous on your feet. you will get noticed but most importantly they offer security and feel and as said earlier seem to be the perfect hybrid of a light, technical boot that will more than meet most players needs. I have had so many pairs of football boots I have lost count but these would definitely be in my top 3 even at this stage and who knows they could be the boot we have all been waiting for. Well done Adidas
Just saw that these have no reviews, so I figured I'd give my input. I have these in the Bold/Solar Orange color way and i love the way they stand out (I tried on the black ones in store also; I just wanted the flashier ones in this case but both look great). First Impression: "Ugh, these laces," but I don't mind them now. The shoes altogether look great when playing or lounging in sweats/jeans. Most of my clothing is pretty understated, so it's nice to let these shoes shine. Fit: Like walking on a cloud due to the boost (even after stepping from Ultra Boosts into these). They fit snug around the middle of the foot and heel due to padding, so I could see some wanting to size up half a size or so. Otherwise, I enjoy the way they feel when running and the feel they give for the ball. Durability: I have only had these for a week or so but I think I'll get my money's worth. Overall, I'm more than pleased with my purchase! Thanks, Adidas!
Wanted some slim fitting joggers for a while, and these fitted the bill. Size guide is spot on. Fut is narrow leg (think a skinny jeans type) with a fitted top half. Comfortable, and stylish (I dislike baggy joggers, especially round the ankle). Not washed them yet, but quality looks good.
The Copa SL is a timeless classic that has always lived up to its name. I've had the shoe for almost a year now and cannot find anything wrong with it. The quality is outstanding and the fit is brilliant for my feet. I will always stick with my copa sl.
So light and comfortable. I may not be the best player in the world but I have definitely noticed an improvement in my game. I can run more easily and my shooting has definitely improved plus they look awesome.
Got these boots last week, after speaking to adidas specialist they told me to buy size 9 and a half, they have arrived and a slightly too big but apart from that great boots, perfect width and very comfortable, I would recommend these
Great pair of cleats. Almost feels like they grasp on to your foot. The color is eye candy once they hit the pitch. Easily in my top 3 cleats ever at number 2. Would be awesome if Adidas made these Pure Controls in Leather, the molding on to the foot would be the cream to the cake! Amazing cleats overall right away I was able to control the ball and make great contact.
So I was waiting for these for quite some time and was quite sceptical about the non laces but I have to see wearing them in a game last week the touch and feel on the ball is quite amazing. Looking forward to playing in them this season!
These pants are great looking. Material seems a little thinner then all my tiro 14 training pants. Don't know if I like or dislike that yet. When it's a bit colder out I probably won't be looking to wear these haha.
Idk if it's just me or not but I've been playing in them for months now thinking they should be broken in but I've gotten bad shin splints from having no arch support because of how flat the cleat is.
i like em.. comfortable and great traction and they have a little arch support which is pretty cool. i wear a ladies closed toe shoe usually 8.5 i got the mens 7.. it has a little room but works great.
Thought I would try this after many years with another brand. Foot moves around slightly but the boot is probably about 1/2 size too big, going to try a second pair of socks and see how I go. if you were to buy these you should get either a size smaller or half a size smaller.
For the price you can't go wrong. I've always brought adidas boots and these are up there with the best I've worn. Extremely comfortable and look the part. Love the tonge type predator look. Would get them again with out thinking twice.
This is my favorite pair of pants. They work in any color. They are always comfortable and I never get hot in them. Great to relax in. I can do anything in them. Only complaint is the pants get caught on poky things sometimes and the thread sorta comes out a little and that's annoying. It can get holes pretty easily. If you are doing an athletic activity and happen to fall, you will definitely ruin the pants. I fell and barely slid, but a massive hole was torn in the pants. I will be purchasing another pair.
I think these pants are great. I'd buy a dozen if the sizing was just a bit better. I have these in L and XL. The L is quite small for a relatively tall guy like me (190 cm). They're somewhat short and tight around the thighs and calves. The XL is great in terms of length and overall fit, but the waist is made for a man twice my size. Everything is quite a bit looser than the L while still retaining a slim, tapered cut, but the waist is like it just got out of hand and exploded sometime between the L to the XL,. and is way too big. That being said, I do use both of the sizes (for slightly different purposes). Your mileage may vary, of course, but if you find a size that fits you, it's a terrific buy.
