I just realized that my favorite running shorts were some 10 year old Adidas supernovas. These response shorts are a cool complement, same fit as my old shorts, same color, and with the three lines in the back as a bonus. I rarely train with a water belt so the pocket is perfect for that gel or two on my 20k+ long runs.
Only reason I give them 4 out of 5 stars is because they run a little big along my waist (I am usually a medium and that's what i purchased)I love these pair of shorts! I actually am really hesitant with buying shorts from other stores/other brands because they are usually so short (and i am already only 5 ft 2 in tall) but i have pretty wide hips/thighs and a tiny waist but these fit my legs perfectly! I'll probably end up hemming the waist a bit because I love these shorts so much! Perfect quality.
I love these shorts, being a 32 waist and 5'10 in height I ordered a Small size. They are a perfect fit, the reflective side panels have yet to be tested due to not having an evening run as yet. I run 7 days a week so I have about 3-4 pairs of shorts. These by far are the most comfortable.
Super soft, I couldn't decide whether to buy these, or another pair of nike pro shorts like I always do. I'm so glad with my choice to get the boy shorts because they're super breezy, and comfortable. The also hug your curves nicely.
it's very hard to find decent fitting women's shorts that aren't showing your butt, so I have to get men's short which are usually too big and bulky. These are actually pretty nice. They are a touch long, and a little too wide, but that's to be expected as a woman buying men's shorts. they are very comfortable and work well out on the soccer fields.
I got 2 pairs for my son. He wears them to soccer practice and around the house all the time. They look great, the color is vivid, the material moves and wear well. All around awesome shorts. Add the Drydye environmental friendly dye process, makes you feel as good about buying them as you do wearing them.
These shorts are great. I have always worn adidas soccer gear. The material and light weight feel is a testament to their great product and evolution. Perfect for playing soccer, or just any physical activity!
I like these shorts because they are comfy and have the drawstrings that I like. I have bought some shorts without realizing they have the drawstring that is a one-piece loop but these shorts have the drawstrings that have two ends like shoelaces, if that makes sense. Very comfy for working out or for lounging in.
I originally tried these for the first time when my school used them as part of my uniform for volleyball. After the first time I wore them, I fell in love! They are so comfortable and they fit me perfectly! I already ordered 2 pairs so that I could have some of my own!
These shorts are as attractive in person as they are online. They are lightweight, comfortable, and breathe very well. They are great for sports because THEY DO NOT HAVE POCKETS. If you are looking for something with pockets, do not look in a sports section because almost all sports require clothing without pockets for safety reasons.
I needed a new pair of shorts, simply because I've got that many different colour running tops and shoes, the 5inch solar blue shorts I had didn't really match in with my new sequence running shoes.. the shorts themselves fit really nicely, no rubbing on the inside leg over short distances so far.. will be using them for several 10K runs in the next few months, so they will get a good test. Even with the length a bit longer at 7inches and there being no side-split, there's still enough room for movement. Should you have chunkier thighs, they shouldn't be a problem. There's a small side pocket, useful for your car key when you're running solo at an event. There's a draw-string at the front, but not really needed by myself - I bought the medium and I'm pretty trim in the waist area so don't have any issues with the shorts moving any lower. I can't give 5 stars to this product though, as there are just not enough colour options. Adidas need to start making shorts in more colours.. I would have liked white with a solar blue 3-stripe, or white with a solar red 3-stripe.. and other additional colours e.g. red, orange, yellow, green, grey etc.. would be more welcome - please take note Adidas!
These are amazing as far as comfort & feel. However, as far as the crotch goes. Horrible. I'm not wearing them tight. I usually wear a small and the small fit great. However, they "look" horrible. They outline all the parts if you know what I mean.
These shorts, especially compared to the 5-inch Techfit shorts, are a bit too short. They would be good for volleyball players and to wear under shorts, when you didn't want anyone to see them. Otherwise, they need a few more inches to be comfortable working out in them alone.
All I needed was a plain white pair of shorts for football. These shorts are well made, strong fabric for slide tackles and so far appear not to stain. The elastic and draw string is real quality, and they're just light enough not to get in the way while playing sports.
These shorts tend to be a little tight in the crotch area which is my main complaint. Also some of the lighter colors tend to show VPLs too easily. The best colors to avoid that are the black and dark grey. They are form fitting and very short, so if you're uncomfortable with your butt being out these are definitely not for you. They're very comfortable for running but after a few minutes I usually have to pull them back down as they start to roll up too much. I personally love that it hugs my muscles and curves but I imagine that someone with longer legs than me might find these way too revealing. (I'm only 5'2" and very petite)
These shorts are absolutely amazing when on the pitch. Played a game in nearly 90°+ and they held true and kept me cool. They do run a little small, as in above the knee but non the less have plenty of room for fluid motion. If you have an issue with tight fitting shorts with your regular size, (e.g I'm 5,10 and M and they are a bit snug without adjusting the waistband) go ahead and order a size up. Hope this review was helpful.
I had the older Striker shorts and they were fairly perfect for me, but this new design is completely different and not suited to short(er) guys anymore. The crotch is too long and the wide waistband is uncomfortable. If you are 5'11" + these are probably fine for you.
I Wore these shorts for my first game last week. I normally wear large but the extra large were a good choice. The fit was great and i liked the light material They look great wash well and are better than my other shorts. I'd recomend them.
I have a couple pairs of exercise shorts. But the TF boy shorts are my favorite. The Climalite actually keep me cool. The waist is perfect for me. The band stay put and doesn't rolled. I have a couple of pairs of TF tight in 25"/28" inseam and "S" fit me perfectly. So I bought the shorts in my usual size "S" and it is actually a little lose. For reference, my waist is 26" and my hip is 35", I should have followed the "size chart" recommendation and get the "XS". I will try it next time.
I got these to diversify my soccer attire (already have several of the other styles). These and the squadras are my favorite. Sometimes I have a little bit of an issue with riding up on inner thigh, but I have large thighs relative to my proportions (5'7", 160lbs, 30-31 waist, small in these).
Lightweight material and great to love around in when I play. They are shorts for soccer and that's all it needs to be. Sizing was a by confusing at first. Maybe a size range in the size selector would be good.
I am an average size woman and I what I LOVE about these shorts is that they have a longer inseam than the womens squadra 13 climalite. They are not snug and fit great in the hips. I don't understand why most womens shorts are so 'short', IMO, since when I am active I don't want to be concerned about what is showing!
I have worn Adidas shorts for many many years. The quality and durability is still there and is the main reason I pay a little more for Adidas products. The fit is the same as the shorts I have from 20 years ago.
Had these in rebate price. Those shorts are slightly shorter than I expected, but they do not run up when running, so I would say the fit is good enough. If you have large hips, the cut is not flattering as the hips appear even larger because of the sewing pattern. But overall, I am very satisfied with those sports shorts.
I had to return the large I bought, since it was tight, but the XL fits great. Keep in mind I'm usually a large size, so if you're worried about anything fitting too trim, don't hesitate to order one size up. Also, the waist band is larger than I'm used to, which was only an issue when the waist ran too small. Now with my XL pair, they fit great, are a proper, regular length and bagginess (not too large like an XL underarmor would be). This really is how the Large size should be cut. If they had side pockets I'd buy more of them.
