I bought my pair of Ultra Boost back in April and now have over 300 miles on them. The shoes have far exceed expectations. I have been running exclusively in adidas boost products for over two years now. When these were coming out for release I was a little bit skeptical mainly due to the price. I got to run a couple of test miles in a pair of ultras and quickly realized it was the real deal shoe. The upper knit is super comfortable and makes for a breathable design on any run. The extra boost material give a comfortable landing on every step. One thing with a boost product is that you can run in the shoe day after day without reduction in the performance of the midsole. The rubber flex sole is a draw back but after three hundred miles the sole has seen a reduction in the rubber knobs but the sole is still in tact. I am thinking that I can get to 800 miles on these shoes. Excited to see what new colors will be coming in 2016. Thanks adidas!!!
I now have 3 pairs of the ultra booat and can't imagine another shoe as comfy as these. I only wear Adidas but the ultra boost are by far the best. Can't get a more comfortable and true to size shoe out there! Defenitly worth the price! Way to go Adidas!
I am not an athletic person, I do try to keep fit. These are my first Boost series shoes and I am never going back to anything else. The fit is fantastic, the grip on the road perfect, the feedback you get on your sole is surprising.
Really in love with the design and color scheme. These are really comfortable and have a certain mystique because it looks great for casual or for running purposes. I am starting to dig the boost technology. Hire me Adidas? Would love to work at adidas
I like the fit of these shoes. I prefer my shoes to be very snug and these fit just right. I had to return 2 previous adidas cleats because they ran 1/2 size too large but these ones fit how I expect them too.
I own a pair of Primeknit 2.0s alongside these and the knit upper truly makes the difference in terms of keeping comfort while maintaining a feel for the ball and staying lightweight. The difference between these and the 2.0s is that while the 2.0s seemed closer to the adizero, these definitely seemed specifically designed for the central midfielder. The studs, fit, and texture all help in improving the touch on the ball and the "feel" behind passes or shots. Top level athlete impressed by another top flight boot by Adidas.
well first I would like to thank adidas for what they made just to please their customers, when i tried it that feeling was great, its give me speed control and accuracy, the material quality is premium, GOOD JOB ADIDAS AND KEEP THE GOOD WORK. THANK YOU.
I use them to referee soccer games. I have used them on wet & dry field turf, also on dry grass. If you are looking for a minimalist upper with a flexible sole, these are great. They are cushy when up on your toes sprinting and cushy for heel strikes. I've put about 60 miles on them with no discernible wear and less knee pain then my previous Nike shoes. Would love to see the "boost" used in a Samba-like shoe to play soccer in.
I think these are great running trainers for winter, or even just to move around. The sole is incredibly soft and you feel like you are walking on wool. I have worn them in this relatively warm weather and it might keep you feet a bit too warm but for winter time they are perfect.
My title pretty much sums it up. First, the good: This has to be one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Appearance is great; Fit is great (I wear 9.5, but went with a half size up and don't regret it). The "sock-like" weave fit is so comfortable, and the boost material really seems second to none. Here's the MAJOR problem: the outer most sole wears faster than any other shoe I've ever owned. I'm generally a fast walker and occasional light jogger. The "nubs" are now completely gone and starting to cause very slippery conditions when wet or on slick surfaces, and I've only had these shoes about 6 months. For the life of me, I wanted to give this shoe a 5-star rating, but for $180, you would think "the greatest running shoe ever" would put a quality and revolutionary outer sole that would last? Why not use your Continental rubber soles like on other Adidas shoes? So disappointed, Adidas.
I usually wear other brands and recently, I have been appreciating the models from Adidas this year like the tubular and espically the pure boost 2. I love this shoe for casual wear and I constantly get compliments on these. Let's start off with the cushioning. The boost midsole is very soft and shock absorbent yet still retains its shape throughout every step. There is no insole so you are on top of the boost with opened areas or pods of boosting in the heel and midfoot. I wish the pure boost 3 would have opened areas or pods in the forefoot. Next is the upper, durability, and outsole. The outsole is a soft rubber yet I do not see any signs of damage. The boost is soft but fairly durable, I would just be cautious with it. I have worn these four times a week for a month and I see no damage, except for stains. Buy a bleaching pen and bleach the stains on the boost in order to keep them nice and clean for a year. The upper is soft and harder in the heel or added support. The toecap of the pure boost one was removed, which is kind of disappointing. All in all, it's more comfortable than a roshe, which is amazing. It will hold up for a year and you'll love this product!
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They do fit a little tight but because of the knit material making it more of a sock feel. I'd recommend going a half size up for more room but overall these shoes are amazing and very stylish as well.
I've worn these shoes for close to a month. I love the touch of the new upper surface and the extra studs on the bottom of the soles. However the heel is very unconformable to me and leaves me with the most painful blisters on both of my ankles. The shoes were ever so slightly not long enough for my foot and I lost a half of toe nail on my right foot due to the fit. I had to send them back. I look forward to the next design.
I tried on a pair at the adidas store. They didn't really have a color way i wanted, saw these online & had to have em. I don't usually wear them with socks but they are easily the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I'd recommend to anyone from those that run or those that just like the way they look and feel.
This shoes is so comfortable I had to buy it in two colorways. I recently bought some air max 15 prior to buying my first ultra boost in solar red. The boost are way more comfortable to run in than the air max. I recently picked up some ultra boost in a core black colorway when the website had my size available and I have to say, the primeknit material feels a lot different than the primeknkt material on my solar reds. I'm not sure if I got a defective pair but other than that it is still a nice shoe. They also look great so you can wear them with almost anything.
I have the Pure Boost 1.0 and Ultra Boost however I feel that these are the absolute best of the three for being on my feet as much as I do on the day to day. The Boost 1.0's structure wasn't as comfortable so there have been upgrades to the shoe itself but the sole/cushion is equally as comfy. Ultra Boost are great for runs but not as comfortable for your walks around town. Would definitely recommend the Pure Boost 2.0s
I have the Miadidas version but fits just the same. When I first wore these, I thought I was putting on old predators again and I've been a Predator fan since I was a kid. The feeling is similar, but much improved. The touch and feel of the ball is great!! Had no problem breaking them in and wore them for an entire match with no rips or any of the sort. The sole is fantastic! You can definitely feel the difference between firm and artificial turf which is great! Above all an amazing cleat!! Great job Adidas!!
I have always worn predators and was disheartened when adidas discontinued the range. I was reluctant to buy the ace at first but i am so glad that I did. They aces are a lot more lightweight than the predator but the control and feel of the boot is not compromised. I would highly recommend this boot and they fit true to size. An added bonus was the fantastic service provided by adidas as the boots were delivered quickly upon purchase. A great purchase for any footballer at any level.
I'm lucky enough to have picked these out as a Parkrun Sweatshop prize back in May this year and wanted something better than my cheap Karrimors. So when I was told I could pick anything off the shelf at any price, I was like a kid in a sweet shop! These were an instant favourite because of how comfy they were in the shop. The upper fits like a glove around my feet and the sole makes walking and running feel as though you are walking on air. Now, historically I tend to get a bit of discomfort with any new pair of trainers which tends to disappear after a few short outings, so I wasn't put off by the tingley pins and needles I felt on my first few runs. However, I have persevered and run almost 200 miles in them but I consistently start to feel the pins and needles effect after only 4 miles and by 6 miles it becomes almost unbearable. It has got better over time and I ran a half marathon in them recently, but they were extremely uncomfortable from 8 miles onwards. Some have commented on the durability of them, and while mine are not falling apart, the black grip on the soles wore down to flat very quickly. Something I wouldn't expect from a pair of trainers with such a hefty price tag on them. I really wanted to get on with these trainers but unfortunately, I will not be spending any money on another pair.
This shoe is the BOMB for casual wear. Whether you are going out to a party, hanging with friends at the mall, going to school, or anything suited for casual wear. I usually wear different brands but I was so impressed when I put my foot in to these Adidas shoes. Firstly, I would like to start off with the no insole, midsole, and rubber outsole. The shoe has no insole and the foot is exposed to the Boost foam in the heel. In the forefoot, there is something blocking the Boost from the foot. I would like to have some pods where the boost is exposed to the foot in the forefoot in areas like the ball of the foot and the toe, not just in the heel and midfoot. The midsole is very comfortable and the foam is squishy, yet very responsive. The roshe midsole has nothing on the boost midsole. It is so squishy yet but so bouncy, I feel a bounce in every step. The outsole has very soft rubber but is very durable. Lastly, the upper is very supportive in the midfoot and somewhat supportive in the heel but lacks forefoot support. I would like for the upper in the forefoot to be a tiny bit more restrictive and for the toebox in the original to come back. I wouldn't use these for sports an they are very comfortable but lack support. All in all, these are very comfortable and are a must buy! If you can find these on sale you should buy them immediately.
In a footballing market where us with wide feet are severely overlooked, the Ace 15.1 is very welcomed, with a nice fit, and a nice light touch on the ball. The reason for not getting a full 5 star, is the sole plate takes a while to losen as well as a lot of heel slippage at the start! Overall much better than the X 15.1!
These are almost perfect... Super comfortable, not too wide... Only thing I have to complain is the insole... As cool as the design is... The little holes on the insole actually is kinda weird feeling and uncomfortable, not enough to make a difference but enough to notice... Sadly can't change out the insoles either.... Hopefully version 3 would take those little holes out or something
Ultra Boost shoes fit like a glove and have been perfect for all workouts in the gym. I have used my pair indoor for about six months and there is no sign of wear at all. They grip perfectly on the slickest wood floor during weight training. They fit like part of the body and perhaps the most important point is that they are not noticed while running on the treadmill - it is as though they are part of you. Hardly any weight. Added bounce. Best workout shoes ever!
My son and I walked by a new Adidas shoe store in the mall and decided to go in. He was looking for a new pair of running/walking shoes and was trying some on, the sales person was telling us about these new shoes Ultra Boost shoes and here exclusive Adidas soles and tops that are so comfortable it's like walking on air and they boost you while running ? My son was ready to leave but I tried the shoes on and convinced him to also. We didn't take them off and wore them home . I'm on my feet all day and I love these shoes ! Probably the best shoes I've ever owned ! P.S. I was wearing a new pair of New Balance running shoes when we went into the store !
I like the shoe a lot but they run about a size small on me. I have purchased 5 pair of Adidas over the last 3 years, from running shoes, to Dragon, to LA Trainers, and size 9 has always been just right for me. But these in a size nine are way too short for me. I will return them. I would have given them 5 stars if sizing had been consistent with my other Adidas shoes.
