I love these shoes, however, I do have a couple complaints. 1: order a size smaller than you usually get. I have worn an 8 in evey single pair of Adidas shoes I have ever bought, (which exceeds 150+ easily) however, I should have bought a 7.5 2: the insole of these shoes come out every single time I take them off. And when I put them on, the insole slides in with my foot, so it's constantly scrunching up inside of my shoe and I have to fix them. I love the look, the weight, and the comfort of them, but they irritate the heck out of mew very single time I put them on and take them off. I bought them on vacation, or I would have returned them.
First of all, this is my very first Boost shoe and I must say they did NOT disappoint! The boost technology makes it feel like you are bouncing as you run. I've tried on the pure boost and the ultra boost before and I loved them so I wanted to get something different. I ended up getting these because I wanted a runner and casual shoe in one. They look and feel great on feet! Things to take note of though is that the boost on these shoes is a bit less than the pure and ultra boost... I would suspect this just because this shoe seems to focus more on minimalist running as opposed to something bulky or a light jog. Another thing to point out that is a BIG deal is sizing. These shoes hug very tightly. I am generally a 9 or a 9.5 (more with 9 though) and even with the 9.5 order, since I read the reviews, it still seems a hair bit small. It's not enough for me to return them but if I went with 10, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have any problems. Overall, excellent shoes! I am a HUGE Adidas fan, and now I can say I am a HUGE boost fan!
I got these in the blue and really love this sneaker. I mainly got because of the cool technology for when I am running. These are very light and comfortable and offer good support. However I don't know that it would offer the best cushioning for distance runners. Didn't realize that it is a slip in shoe and the laces are really there for aesthetics.
Started playing tennis 1.5 years ago. I'm on my third pair of sneakers. I have plantar fasciitis which motivated me to find the right sneaker. I had not tried Adidas yet, but after researching, I was told the Adidas sneaker had a wider toe box. I bought these and it's everything I needed. Lightweight, breathable, flexible, heel support, wide toe box, etc. love them and my feet feel better!
I had a pair of slip on Superstars, that I loved and have missed for over 10 years. Adidas have finally made a pair but they are hard to get on. I would suggest getting a half or even a size larger so you can get them on with socks.
Beware of the very loose insoles on these. I ordered these in size 8.5 and thought that was too large since I had about an inch of space in front of my toe. So I ordered a pair in size 8 and although the length was almost perfect, a bigger issue arose, where the insole of the shoe would get shifted/pushed forward when putting on the shoe. I noticed a similar issue in the size 8.5 where the insole was very loose and would easily come out when taking off the shoe. In the end, I decided to stick with the 8.5 since it's much worse/difficult to have to try and fix the insole after you've already put your foot in the shoe compared to just putting the insole back in place after I've taken the shoe off. They're breathable with the mesh material but I feel like I might end up ripping it with my big toe. They also seem to get dirty easily especially on the bottom white rubber part. They're not perfect but I still like them and recommend them!
I have ordered many shoes off Adidas online over the last couple years, and again, the shoe did not disappoint. These shoes are exactly as they are named, fresh. I have received many comments on these shoes, great style and can be used for running, walking, or just daily wear. The shoes make a statement when you walk into a room. The only worry I have is that the shoe may get a hole above my right big toe because my toe turns up and has cut through mesh shoes before. Other than that, great shoe with great breathability, if you think you like them online, you will love them when they show up on your doorstep. -AT
the good: they're light and feel like wearing socks. the bad: they have a plastic insert that is loose and hard to put feet in and pull out without it the insert coming loose. surprised adidas haven't fixed this issue.
Disclaimer: I have foot problems and my feet tend to hurt. The shoes are well ventilated, and that is what I wanted. However, there is very little cushioning for the bottom of the foot. There are little holes in the bottom, which I like because it helps to ventilate the shoe and keep your foot cooler. However, the little holes hurt a little bit when your foot presses down - as for instance when you walk. I'm still keeping an open mind. I may up liking this shoe in the end. I think it's a great idea, personally. The way they have ventilated the shoe, that is. And I caught the shoes on sale, so the price was certainly reasonable. I'd be interested to read other reviews of this shoe to see what others think.
I am normally a 12 in adidas but I saw the reviews that said to size up so I ordered a 12.5. That was too small and when I sized up to a 13 they were still too tight. I ended up returning all of them and purchasing a different shoe entirely.
I'm a size 7.5 US and due to the reviews I ordered a half size up (8 US) . They fit perfectly without socks and a little tight with ankle socks. Great slip on design, very lightweight and comfortable.
I sail on a small one design 24' sailboat and launch my SUP on a rocky beach. These are perfect. Great grip on the boat (and no toe stubbing) when sliding around on the foredeck and ventilated perfectly for getting my feet soaked launching the SUP. Water flows right through and they dry in a heart beat.
Super light weight and comfortable but sizing is off. I'm usually a 10-10.5 in adidas but these I could have used a 9.5 or possibly even a 9. I agree with the other user that the insole just doesn't stay put when slipping off your feet. Disappointed and will be returning.
I bought a size 4 in these trainers, I'm usually a UK size 3 but size up for Adidas trainers and these fit like a dream. The sole is incredibly comfortable to run in and absorbs shock really well. There are air holes in the bottom of the sole allowing air to circulate and keep your feet cool. The shoe itself is very flexible too. I find myself wearing these even when I'm not running because the pattern is so nice!
Sizing is off by about an entire size, maybe even just a half. Usually a size 10.5 due to a wide foot, however I ordered a size 10.5 on the SL Loops and they are a little big, so I ordered these in a size 10 thinking they would fit just right, but they were way too small. Shipped them back, didn't reorder. Still a really nice looking shoe though.
