micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
This bra is comfortable and supportive. The best part is that it provides a little bit of a lift instead of just flattening everything down. The crisscross back makes it really comfortable, especially for high impact training.
First off, I'm VERY picky with sports bras simply because of the way my breasts naturally are. I need the bra to fit PERFECTLY or else I'm going with two bras. I wore 2 bras for working out for years because when I tried to wear a simpler compression bra by itself with no cup shapes, I was left with that nightmarish "uniboob" look and feel (most ladies know exactly what I'm talking about.) I'm a full C, sometimes D depending on the bra, so the 2-bra thing was something I've been wanting to rid myself of for the longest time. I work at an Adidas store and found this funky-looking bra and decided to try it on. I will say that the bra is quite daunting at first when you are attempting to just try it on. The way the straps cross over will likely have you saying "huh?" out loud. But I was able to eventually figure it out (after a few minutes of sweating) and, over a year later, I can say this is probably the best bra purchase I've ever made. I actually ended up buying three of them, and none of them show any signs of wear to this day. I know the bra offers fantastic support because I don't think about it when I'm exercising. I work out several times a week. The bra is pretty much true to your normal bra size, and I love how the sizes are based on cup/band sizes (32C, 36DD) as opposed to small/medium/large so that you can make sure that you get a bra that actually FITS. Honestly, the only bad part about this bra IMO is the first few times putting it on because you don't know what you're doing and it just feels like your suffocating even with the right bra size on. But, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the tightness you should be experiencing at first is a good thing. (If the bra's too tight, loosen the straps/clasps a bit, but you shouldn't have to do too much adjusting or else you likely have the wrong bra size.) Let me save you the stress of figuring out how to put this thing on: 1. Unhook the bra. 2. Loosen the straps to at least half the length. This will make the bra easier to pull over your head/arms/torso and keep you from damaging the bra's threading by over-stretching. 3. Pull the bra over your head so that the entire bra is below your bust, near your belly button. Turn the bra around so that the unhooked section of the bra is over your belly button. Make sure the hook sections are not flipped around or else the bra won't fit right. 4. Tighten the straps to your desired tightness and hook the bra together. You obviously won't know your go-to measurement at first, but you will eventually. 5. Twist the bra around your body and fit the cups over your bosom. Put your arms through the arm openings and pull the straps up to your shoulders. Just get past learning how to put it on and I believe you'll really love the bra. Worth your money! :)
It was worth a try! I am typically size 32DD and ordered the large. The cup was the right size, but the band was too big. I often have this problem with sports bras (or any bras that aren't specifically sized). Reading the reviews, I thought this one might be different so I tried it. I'm returning them. Otherwise, it's a really nice sports bra. I wish they made it with adjustable straps though.
This is the first sports bra I have bought, it is brilliant. I do medium to intense work outs and running, the bra is very secure and does not pinch or irritate my skin. Going to buy more in different colours. I am a 38DD and bought a large which is perfect.
Adidas make the best quality sports bras and this one does not fail to meet the high standards I've become used to expect. It fits true to size. I wear a medium (usual bra size 34C). The support is incredible, no bouncing and the comfort level is amazing. You don't feel so strapped in that you can't breath. The fabric is soft and remains so after washing. My only minor complaint is the criss cross back in which I occasionally get tangled in when I put it on.
I wanted to make sure and write a review on this one! I own 5 of these bras, and use them for high impact running. I am a 38/40D and wear a size large in these. (hopefully that helps some of you determine size!). There is a little bounce, but nothing as uncomfortable as other brands. I wear these on shorter distance days of 3-6 mile runs, but wear an alternate bra with an underwire for my long run days which can go up to 14 miles. That's just a personal preference for me, but you could probably wear these for longer periods of time, and they would still have support. The one thing I want to make sure and note-I use body glide during almost every run to prevent chaffing during these hot summer months. If you are not using it you should! I sweat a lot, and these bras are breathable, but everything has limitations! (Especially in 90+ humidity). I would definitely recommend. I have had these bras for over a year, and they are really worth the money!
The price of this sport bra is nice. I ordered an S which is generally my size, but this bra runs too long and could only give light support instead strong support! Have to return it but I failed to find any orders on my order history. Weird.
I've never owned a sports bra before, but I have recently started running so thought it best to invest in one. The style, the fit and the support of this is amazing! My only qualm is how difficult it is to get on and off...but I expect this is standard for any sports bra.
It's perfect, I like it so much I try to wear it on a daily basis. I purchased yellow, and the straps around my neck is pretty for summer layering. Also the uphold is so firm, even when I'm jogging I feel super comfortable.
I purchased one in black and then one in a different color. It does have a tight fit, but I like feeling secure and that I can move around without the bra moving and causing chafing. I am thin build and have b cup size and this bra is very comfortable. I always cut the tags off because where they place the tags always causes me to itch there. I am a runner and everything feels secure, it is not too tight where I feel like I can't take deep breaths while running, and it is comfortable. I have not had any chafing at all. Love this bra! I would highly recommend it.
As a 34DD I can tell you it's very difficult to find a bra in my size that keeps everything in place, especially while running. I must've bought $100 worth of sports bras that don't even fit me properly in the past few months alone, just trying to find one that works, but I happened to buy this while it was on sale. I ended up buying 3 more the day after. For my fellow large-breasted ladies, this is the bra for you.
Looks fab - style and colour are great, especially nice under a racing back running vest; really comfortable; Gives nice support - probably not quite as supportive as a Shock Absorber which you can adjust, but feels supportive enough. I've used it on 8-10 mile runs with no chaffing at all. I'm normally a 10 in dress size and probably 32b bra size. The 8-10 supernova bra was fractionally too loose, but any tighter would make it very hard to get off.
I read about this sports bra in a running magazine, recommending it for C cupped runners. I'd previously been using other brands which were good, but I was keen to try better. I am pleased to say that this has been the best sports bra I have purchased, and now own it in 3 colours. It fits very well, and keeps everything strapped down properly, I'm not sure it would work for smaller/bigger cup sizes but for your average C cup it's perfect!
This is my new favorite bra to wear for work outs. When I first got it, the band was very tight, uncomfortable tight. It took a handful of times wearing it for the elastic to relax. It is super comfortable now. It also helped to make it easier to put on. It's still a bit of a struggle, but it's not too bad. It's very supportive and it looks really good on too. It is so difficult to find a good sports bra like this; I highly recommend it!
This bra is perfect for me. I want racerback with hook-and-eye closure (I hate peeling sweaty sports bras off my body), which is a hard combination to find. Moreover, I feel well supported. I don't have a big chest- I'm a 32C, but as a nursing mom, my boobs are super sensitive. I hope Adidas will make this bra in more colors!
I really recommend this bra, is really comfortable, I wear it for my runs and it gives me a great support! I love the colors and the fit. I am 34C and I ordered size 12 that I would have thought it might be loose but it was perfect!
I love the care and detail put into this bra like the ridges along the band and the soft wicking material along the neckline, but man if this thing ain't a doozy to get on! I'm a big girl and I unfortunately don't have the super power of being able to fasten my bra behind my back. I couldn't get this things on no matter what kind of MacGuyver ways I tried. I knew if I tried to slip it on still clasped, I'd stretch it out and ruin it. I'm sending this back, I'll have to find some better plus-sized sports bras.
Amazing bra. I do kickboxing and this bra didn't disappoint me in support and keep everything in place. Very easy to put on and super comfortable to wear while I worked out. I ended up getting 2 more :)
I found the bra hard to get on as the clasp in the back is hard to do by yourself once the bra is on. I kept the clasp secured & put the bra on that way. Was harder to adjust, but once the straps were loosened a little, the bra was a great fit.
I work in the fitness industry and have always struggled to find a sports bra that does what it's supposed to. My chest is sort of heavy for my fit/thin frame, and nothing keeps the ladies in place (without the dreaded uniboob look). This bra comes *close* to being my favorite, thus far. I am 5'8" 130 lbs. I typically wear a 32C and that is what I bought. It runs true to size, I would say. Perhaps ever-so-slighty "small" if you don't like your bras to be compression-like tight, as I do, especially for running. But If you have a toned back, you should be fine with your normal size. If you're weary of bra bulge/back fat... or if your back is not your favorite feature, maybe size up on the band. As someone recommended to me long ago, ALWAYS BUY YOUR BRAS SO THEY FIT TIGHTLY ON THE LAST (3rd) SET OF HOOKS. Elastic is known to stretch out over time, therefore... when the bra *especially a sports bra* begins to "break-in" and stretch out with wear, movement, washing, drying, abrasion, and well... generally bending and breathing.. it will continue to fit as it should, even if this means you need to move to the 2nd or 1st hooks to keep it fitting snug to your ribcage. But... to each their own. Anyway, this bra fits that way which is AWESOME! If you're buying your bras how you should be and wearing the "right" size to begin with (as many women do not) it will be tight at first... but wear it around and it will conform to your body with time, I promise. In the long (distance) run, it's worth it! My only complaint is that I would prefer the front to not have a princess seam (like the same style but in the D/DD sizes, for example) This would allow the bra to be more versatile and lay better (flatter) under tight fitness apparel. Also it would give your bust a slightly more "rounded" look. But all and all, I can't complain. I may try to order the a 32 or 34 in the D cup style and see if this fits me as well... sometimes I can go either way (32/34/C/D) and each size gives me a different "look". The D cup style appears to offer a little more fabric and coverage, and would be better for layering vs. wearing alone. This 32 C gives me some cleavage, which I personally like. The padding is minimal, more like a lining cup, actually, which is nice... because I have piercings that elicit attention sometimes.. which I don't always like to advertise to the lovely people on the streets of NY. This nicely keeps things, covered and concealed without adding bulk to my bust. Another nice feature is the glue-dot like grips on the inside of the elastic band (the part that touches your skin). I'm not sure they really "do anything" so to speak... but I'm hoping once I start sweating they will reduce chafing and keep the bra in place. Hope this helps.
I wear a 34D or 32DD in other bras...imagine my surprise when after trying on multiple sizes I found the best fit in this bra to be a 36B! In addition to being supportive this bra is very good looking. In fact, I've started wearing it in the pool for swimming lessons with my kids. There is no cleavage/spillage/risk of showing too much - yet, I still look supported and sporty. I also wear this bra when exercising...I am a personal trainer and fitness instructor. My workouts are intense and high impact...this bra can withstand it all. PLEASE make it in more colors!!
