After 70 miles these shoes were perfectly cushioned and super agile. These are my go to trail shoe for distances 50K and less. They are also durable and supportive enough for some technical peak bagging.
the shoes gripped very well over rocks and roots. I walk trails off Blue Ridge parkway. I'm a weekend warrior walker. The shoes did great. I will be buying more in the future. They are lite, easy to walk in.
I finally took these out hiking and really like them a lot. they were really comfortable walking on rocks of any sizes. the boost really help give it that bouncy cushion. I would recommend wearing it with atlas quarter socks to prevent any blisters if you are prone to get them. i didn't get any blisters from them though.
This is the second pair of Kanafia shoes for me. I like them much better than the Terrex and GTX trail shoes. I have owned all of them and I do prefer the smaller profile soles on the Kanadia shoes. I have owned several pairs of the Adidas trail shoes and these are the best. They have redesigned the look of the Kanadia shoes. Very light and comfortable - a very good purchase.
I bought these shoes about a year and a half ago and am very happy with them. These are the highest performing and most impressive hiking shoes I've owned. I hike a minimum of 12 miles per week in the rugged and wet Pacific Northwest and the waterproofing on these shoes is unstoppable. It's also hands down the best grip I've ever had on a hiking shoe. I hike very sharp rugged terrain and these soles and mids have more than doubled the life of every other hiking shoe I've owned. My only complaint is the sizing. I normally wear a 12 and these are a hair too small for me in a size 12, but the size 13 is too big. I'm due for a new pair and I'm really torn if I want to deal with too small too big. However I was so impressed with the quality and performance I'm willing to make the compromise
Cant say enough good things about them. A great running shoe. My knees and legs love them. No pain or discomfort after a good run. Thats coming from someone with a hx of knee pain. I guess im a girl who is officially in love with mens running shoes.
I bought these shoes at the beginning of summer to wear on duty as a firefighter. I had to return and get a half size bigger. After I did that I have not had any problems. I have worn them almost everyday for the last 3 months. I'm very rough on my gear and the quality seems to be there so far. I've even recommended them to others.
To narrow in the toes and the arch support has gone away compared to a few years ago models it is hard to wear all day adidas needs to go back to the drawing board and redesign to make comfortable again
the shoes art the best shoes you could ever get for any terrain on earth. I'm an xc runner that just ran a very muddy race on hills and did not slip at all. i also practice at a park when or after it rains and i would give the shoes a eight on comfortability, a ten on traction and a ten on fitting. Does very good. roots mud etc
I got these to wear boating and kayaking. They work great as water shoes with good grip when wet and quick drainage. A huge bonus is that they also look very good for casual wear with shorts and are super comfortable. I have worn them almost every weekend this summer. I highly recommend.
I'm a mail carrier and I walk 10 miles a day and these shoes are very light and comfortable. In the past the shoes I purchased from Adidas were too narrow in the toe area but on this shoe it seems like Adidas improved and made wider.
Took these to Defqon.1 in the Netherlands, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Tons of hard music, mud, rain, and dancing like a maniac for 3 days couldn't breach these shoes, and I highly highly recommend these for festival goers. Took a beating and just kept going. Took them home and scrubbed them off, ready to go for daily use or another festival with just a little elbow grease!
I bought these shoes specifically for work in an Emergency Room. They've held up great and been super comfortable. I'm on my feet 12 hours a day for 3-4 days a week and have had no discomfort. The GoreTex has been good enough to keep blood, urine and vomit out of my socks. Other water resistant options like clogs, crocs, or work boots aren't are comfortable. The laces are the weak design of the shoes. They are made of 2 layers of different nylon, the inner hard core lasts forever but is too slippery to remain tied after the soft outer layer is worn off.
These should have been excellent. There is one design feature that made them impossible for me to use: the lacing area is off center, toward the inside of the foot. In the case of my one weird foot this put laces directly on a nerve on my ankle bone, in 2 places. Excruciatingly painful. If the lacing area was moved toward the outside, or padding added, it might fix it. On the normal foot the size was perfect: the boots run narrow, but so's my foot. If the one problem wasn't there they would have been a dream pair of boots.
Unbelievably narrow shoe. Wearer could order 1/2 to full size larger and still find this shoe unbearable. I'm finding it hard to believe this shoe even made it to production. There must be enough guys out there with abnormally narrow feet that it didn't matter. Very disappointing.
Great boot. I normally wear a 10.5 and these felt a tad bit too small, so definitely try them on first! I ordered mine online.... But still they feel great. Comfortable and great traction. I did cut the "excess" lace on the speed laces, which I regret now. I don't know where to get a replacement speed lace set! But amazing boots!
I've been buying this shoe for the last 3 years .It's been one of the best shoes i've ever owned .Very comfortable to wear all day long in any condition. Now they have changed the insoles and totally ruined this shoe .Without the old style insoles these feel like any other cheap shoes ,absolutely no arch support or lateral support at all. There even painful just trying to stand in all day.I'm very disappointed in there new product.
As Adidas designers continue on the their path of shrinking the toebox to over-constrain the human foot we now have designs that for D widths are too narrow. One more 1/8 of an inch in width and height across the ball of the foot at the outer edge is apparently too much to ask as we the people have been complaining for the last few years that all of the adidas designs are migrating to dimensions that simply don't work for the majority . its a shame that they don't get it but alas I will have to move on to manufacturers that understand that the toes, especially the pinky toes need some space to live. give us back a toebox, your sock like fit isn't working out. Other than this the quality and construction of the shoe itself is impressive.
I recommend the shoes as I wear them hiking on rugged trails that vary in dey to muddy conditions. They are very comfortable and have kept my feet dry in wet conditions. The only complaint is the lace broke when pulling to tighten the shoes. Where can I find these laces?
Brings back a lot of energy while running. The shoe is absolutely comfortabe. It is phantastic to run with it compared with my 5 years old Adidas trail run shoes. I will never change it. Adidas - you did a perfect job!
Dry, fast light, and durable. There's nothing more to say really... Low quarter alternative to their old raid boots that you can't get any longer. Addidas, please make a tactical boot version of this shoe
I live in a wet climate and these shoes walk right thru puddles. The soles are excellent. The lacing system is what makes these shoes really easy to wear. I have also washed these with a couple of towels and they came out great. I used a box fan overnight to dry them. They're like new again.
This shoes is unbelievable, I am Adidas user since I was 8 years old I am 39 years old Now, this shoes is so much comfortable, warm, I wear it 9 to 10 hours a day it feels so good. Bought this shoes 2015 and it's still same shape for a year now.
great grip on the shoes I am able to play with more confidence I'm not worried about slipping on the rugged terrain or the tea boxes awesome shoes for disc golf. I wish they would have held out a little longer the gore-tex doesn't work too well but is OK overall it's a good shoe.
I run some very rugged trails with lots of mud, rocks, gravel, streams, steep grades etc. and these are very comfortable, stable and have excellent traction. I had no problem with mud or gravel sticking to the tread etc. Best trail shoes I've ever had in a few decades of serious trail running. I also love the other boost shoes for road running...but those don't hold up very well on rugged trails.
