As soon as I opened the box...... Love at first sight. Just on initial looks I was wow'd, but once on feet I was even more impressed. Judging by an online review which wasn't based on a general release(which was also primeknit) I went half size up, which I wish I didn't do. I had to send these back and re order my size. These run TTS and fit like a glove. Boost runs all the way which means you're feet are in heaven. The White colourway is so fresh that didn't have the heart to ball in'em & ruin'em so I got the Red colourway. Can't wait for future colours, well done adidas!!!!!
These are by far the best low top basketball shoes I have ever worn. The Kobe IVs came out quite awhile ago and have finally been surpassed by the Crazylight 2016! The cushion is outstanding and full length and is even more responsive than the D Rose 6 Boost. Traction is outstanding indoors and outdoors and I never have to wipe. The only suggestion I would make is for people to go a half size down because they do run slightly long. As a Houston Rockets fan I am excited that James Harden will be wearing these instead of his old Nikes that had no cushion and felt like bricks. Also looking forward to his signature shoe when it releases as long as it has full length Boost.
The Lillard 2 runs a little big so a half size down may be in order. I havent played in Adidas since the Gilbert Arenas shoe but I have to say these are easily comparable to anything on the market right now. Full length cushion that cant be killed by stepping on a tack....and for 105?? Plus the materials are top of the line. They were so comfortable I bought another pair to walk around in. I just wish 13.5 was a little more common place.
These are great shoes. Really comfortable and exceptionally light. The only thing I would change was that the slightly off-white colour on the primeknit detailing would have been better as pure white which would have been more striking. Other than that they are pretty amazing.
All you need to know is this shoe runs true to size and Boost is super comfortable. The graphics are dope I love the red I rock these with my Manchester United jerseys home and away. I have a wide foot and these fit perfect no need to go size up or down. Plus these are slept on honestly they should be sold out by now but that's why I love em, because no one else has em.
The shoe is simply awesome I bought these shoes for my daughter who plays to a high standard she has owned the last 2 models which were great. But these have raised the bar beyond belief. The full length boost is different class as is the comfort & the continental sole give superb traction. There is no other shoe to match this shoe. Great work guys
I was excited about these...until I finally laced them up to play basketball. I bought a 10.5 & a 10 to ensure i got my true size. Even with that, they just arent a good basketball shoe for a few reasons. 1) they're too clunky. meaning they just look a few sized too big even when youre wearing your true to size. 2) not as light as advertised. these didnt feel crazylight as the name would suggest. 3) heel slippage...constantly. I laced them up tight and my heel always managed to slide up a just a tad. Here are some of the things I liked or thought were ok... 1) great traction. one of the best ive experienced. 2)comfort was pretty good from heel to forefoot 3)and the quality is nice However, the bad outweigh the good in my opinion. I own about 10 pair of adidas shoes (UB, PB, stan smith, etc) and the Crazylight 2016 leave me feeling a bit disappointed; a feeling I rarely have with Adidas. I've worn them once to play basketball and would return them if I could. However, I dont think thats an option. Having said all this, I still like Adidas as a product and this shoe may work for some, but not all.
Not a wide foot friendly shoe, will have painful breaking in time in the fore foot area. If you have wide feet, its hard to say go up half a size cause if you do, then the shoe is to long and you will have a lot of dead space in toe area. I went up half a size in case my true size was to small for me. Overall it is a good shoe and upgraded so much than last year!
This shoe has everything a guard or even big man would want perfect traction and cushion. The shoes always have great traction even on the worst courts and for me that is very important, one other adidas did well in these is the support great ankle support for a low top shoe
With a not so well thought of Harden Logo on the tongue, it is just basically regular crazylight boost 2.5 low. Forefoot could had use bounce cushioning OR Boost. It is just too stiff and uncomfortable up front. Heel boost is excellent on the other hand. The length of the shoes is RIGHT ON; width of the forefoot is a bit narrow specially close to the pinky toe area. The reinforce plastic fuse toe cap made the material not able to stretch, anyone with wider foot, pinky toe will feel uncomfortable rubbing against the shoes!
Searched up some YouTube reviews due to a lot of folks saying the shoes run big. Turns out they do. This isn't a drawback but would suck if ppl didn't know and bought their regular size and the shoe runs too big on them. I went half a size down to a 10, probably could have even gone to a 9.5. The shoe will break in anyway the more you wear them. But all in all I never tried on or own any boost type of shoe. And this was one of the best purchases I've made for a shoe in a really long time. Looking to one day get a pair of ultra boosts and nmd r1's. Will also be keeping my eyes out for more crazylights from now on as well. Can't beat the price either with or without the sale for the tech that you're getting.
They are great shoes! However, a more varied color choice would be appreciated. The shoes couldn't be better but the I think the lack of color choices or a "customize" option really hurts the product.
I read how everyone noted that this shoe runs big in size...I like a little extra room so I can put in my orthotics so that was not a problem for me...I think these shoes will make it on the court this summer...the red 3 sinks in....I'm still wondering if the James Harden signature shoe next season will b a high top...these are low and I prefer high but I really like these...
I was excited to order the James Harden All Star color way when it first came out. I ordered my usual size 13. When I got the shoes it looked like a 14 or 15 the shoe was huge. But by the time I received my pair the shoe was sold out besides sizes 9 and 9.5 I usually wear size 13 with this shoe I could have used a size 12 or even 11.5 I thought it was very weird. I double checked to make sure the shoe wasn't a 14 or bigger but the box and shoe tag says 13. If you can try and try them on before you buy them.
Bought these yesterday and awsome gameplay from me just an more improved version of the 2015 version when euro-STEPPING in these i feel like game 6 in the semi-finals[THE WORDS ARE IN A EXCITEMENT VOICE} ........... #ANOTHER ONE
First things first - go 1/2 size down. Yea, standard awkward Adidas fit. But once you get that resolved, the fit is absolutely amazing. I questioned the "update" from the Crazy Light Boost 2015 to the 2.5 but as soon as you put it on, you'll realize why. The ankle portion of the shoe is like a sock and it just hugs everything around it. The shoe literally feels as if engineers designed a shoe just for my feet!
These shoes caught my eye from the moment I saw them on another site. I quickly bought them, anticipating my very first pair of lowtops that I actually would hoop in. The Primeknit upper and Boost Cushioning are the standout technical/ cosmetic features of this shoe. The asymmetrical lacing and "burrito wrap" design aid in stability. Forefoot cushioning is probably the reason I rate the shoe just shy of 5 stars. Even though I'm 33 and far removed from youthful condition, my knees hadn't ached after playing until wearing these. Once I threw in some PU insoles, however, this changed and I fell in love again. If you want a shoe that looks uniquely beautiful, this shoe is for you. If you want a shoe with function that matches the form, (buy an insole and then) this shoe is for you.
Allover a great shoe, but every pair of Crazy 8s I've seen/ owned always ends up separating at the midfoot. perhaps stronger glue maybe? A ripguard? Besides the separation issue, a great basketball shoe and a timeless classic!
Please Dont Stop Making Crazy 8s They Are The Best Shoes Ever & Very Different & Comfy!!! I Havent Seen Alot Of People In Them When Im From Soo It Makes Me Feel Good Knowing That I Wont Walk Into A Party Etc Wearing The Same Shoe As Everybody Else!
These sneaks didn't really work for me. Could also be just my foot type and these sneakers are incompatible, but basically when I would play in these sneakers I always felt like my feet were heavy. Like there was too much material in the sole. After having these for a bit and trying many other sneakers in the past, I find that at least for my foot type, I need not only a sneaker that has good sole support for my sometimes problematic feet (I usually wear orthotics) but one that has some give in the sole. The Crazy 8's have little to no give in the sole due to the materials that comprise the whole "crazy" lines design of the shoe. Attractive? Totally, I had a pair of Shumpert Crazy 8s that were beautiful, but unfortunately not very comfortable either when playing basketball or for casual wear. Though I ended up mainly wearing them for the courts, not the streets. Only ok for me, maybe better for others with more resilient feet!
Please do not stop making these shoes. I not only speak for myself, many of my friends who have had these are discouraged because these are not made anymore. Please, please, please, do not stop making these.
The product was shipped very quickly even when I had it shipped ground. The proudct is a classic shoe that is very comfortable and fits to your foot well. I recommend this to anyone who plays basketball.
