This is the second pair of these boots I have purchased for my 15 year old son. The first pair lasted 6 months before a hole started wearing on the outside of toe box. Adidas was accommodating in replacing those. The second pair were treated with leather protection and only got 12 months out of those.
Second pair that split along the bottom sole in less than 3 months. This time I phoned Dicks sporting goods, manager, Brian, will not accept them back as defective, "older than 60 days". $150 cleats should last longer than 88 days. More so on a 14 year old girl.
Very comfy, unusually so for someone like me with wide feet. Unlike most adidas footwear the sizing is actually about right so I probably made a mistake by buying a pair that are a size bigger than I usually take.
These lasted less than a year!!! Total Waste of Money. They are super comfortable, but all the comfort in the world doesn't make up for $150 cleats not even lasting through a season. Super disappointed...
Purchased these for durability. Soleplate began to come away from front of both boots after about ten games, all played on grass during summer months. Boots are now no longer any use for play. First few games in boot were excellent but 10-15 games wear is not good enough and not to Adidas usual high standards.
Absolutely perfect and exactly what I needed. I have a very wide foot with a high arch, and finding soccer cleats has been an incredibly frustrating journey. When I learned of these, and that the leather will stretch and mold to your foot, I hopped on it. They were right. These shoes will fit any kind of foot once you give it time to break in. Incredible quality leather.
After researching, on line, & speaking with soccer players who are kickers in football-we settled on Copa Mundial cleats. We purchased the cleats in late May/early June so our son would have them for summer kicking camps. Our son only kicks, no punting, no other position played. 4 games into the high school season the shoe is beginning to pull away from the base. The material has not torn, but there is definitely separation between the 2 parts of the shoe. To the point, we had to purchase an emergency pair, adidas brand, in case the shoe didn't make it until the Friday night game. My son really likes the Copa Mundial-light weight & has molded to his foot, but we are disappointed in how the shoe has not held up...especially with the amount we paid for reliable shoes.
i recommend going a full size down for a tight feel. the laces are really long but i got shorter ones no big deal. you get a great touch on the ball and can rip shots. after broken in their really comfortable. they seem to be a little heavy on your feet at first but thats because of the great quality leather. you get used to the weight though and don't mind after a while. overall great boot. i will never buy a different cleat.
Too bad there are not six stars on the rating. These cannot be beat. It's the only pair my son wears. He is a kicker in football and these last for two seasons easy. He has a wider foot than most and these fit perfect. There is a reason they have continued to be manufactured for 30-40 years.
I have a pair of x15.1, which I got because those were the only boots available at the store I visited. I wanted to go for a classic black and white style with leather but they just didnt have that option. But someone told me about copa mundials and as soon as i saw them and read the reviews I knew this was what I wanted. They are extremely comfortable, my touches feel great, and they werent heavy at all as some reviewers had suggested. Sizing was a little bit confusing. Initially i ordered half a size down, but those were too big, so i ordered a full size down to get the optimim fit. Very happy with the purchase. Love the classic look!
I was looking for something classic and different, and I found it. The shoe does run big, so do as adidas recommend. After a couple plays the shoe widen. I had to go a size down just because it will widen and I have narrow feet.
This is truly worth the money because you are getting the most comfortable soccer cleats ever built in history. It is still made in Germany so quality is guaranteed. The cleats has an archaic sizing scale so you should go down 1 full US size to get the right fitting length. This is one of few soccer cleats that you don't need to worry about the width once you got the length right. The high quality kangaroo leather will stretch to fit your foot. They are a bit heavy based on modern day standard mainly because it is made in 100% kangaroo leather. Its durability edges most of the cleats in the market.
This product is amazing. I have purchased these boots before and I have have got them again. Last time I got these they lasted me 5 years. They are so comfortable that you can't feel them when playing football. They don't give you blisters. I would recommend these boots.
Best boots I have ever worn. As always, takes a few games to wear them in but they are comfortable, neutral sole with studs that are suitable for 3G and grass. If reasonably looked after they last a while. I play on 3G twice a week and the boots last a good 6 months through all weather. A skinny fit which does stretch with use. Good quality old school boot.
Waaay bigger than I expected. I need to send them back or resell them. I'm busy and so I didn't have time to try them on before game day (once a week), so they have slight wear visible and I don't think I can even return. Sad.
Solid shoe. Had my first game in them the other day and they were very comfortable and left no blisters anywhere. Normally wear US mens size 9 but I like a tighter cleat so ordered this cleat in a size 7.5 & 8. The 7.5 were too tight and toes were crammed. The 8's fit snug but left half an inch of room at the toes so not a perfect fit for me but overall very good cleat and I'll continue to wear. Studs provided solid grip on outdoor grass pitch, and ball control was good.
This is a one of Adidas' finest creations. However, the break-in period is longer than other boots I've worn. The boot may look expensive but it's absolutely worth it. Still the best boot available in my opinion.
The shoe has a high quality K-Leather, and it is very confortable. In my case, the problem is that I am a proner, and the stability of those cleats could be improved. I keep spraining my ankle (probably because of the position of the spikes on the sole, as my other cleats from other brand are perfectly stable). The field where I play is not perfectly straight, and, sometimes, my ankle pays the price for it. As I said before, the position of the spikes could be changed since that would provide a better stability.
I've read reviews saying to get this shoe a size smaller only after having already purchasing them a half size smaller. The shoes arrived and when I tried them on and tightened up the laces they fit like a glove, perfect fit! Waiting to play in them but the comfort of the leather already is worth the buy!
These are the greatest soccer shoes ever. They have lasted the test of time and perform extremely well in any condition. I played year round and would get a new pair each year, but not because they would break down quickly, just simply bc I wore them for practice 5x a week and games for 9 months of the year. I do not understand why they are so expensive these days? Growing up (1994-2004), they were $89 all day, everyday. What gives?!
Delivery was great. Wearing them out within two days. Pay attention to the sizing, the NorthAmerican sizes are listing at the upper tab. If you go by the moulded number at the soul you would be ordering the British size (half a size smaller than NorthAmerica). These shoes definitely will stretch after the first few uses so actually half a number down may be just right versus what you normally wear. Great product.
I bought the shoes and used them for about a week so far. The fit and quality of the shoe is excellent. I paid extra for the personalization and less than a week in, some of the lettering has already come off. Disappointing because it was really cool to start with. I would but the shoes again just not the added personalization.
I purchased these boots based on such positive reviews on this website, but was left disappointed by having to return them. I am an assistant football coach and wore these boots for just 2 hours before a hole appeared on the underside of one boot. This is very poor considering the price and heritage of these boots.
They are probably the best boots you can buy now a days they're not all plasticky like other boots because they are proper leather I have had mine for over a year and they are still in perfect quality you have to give Adidas a pat on the back for this
Purchase this shoes after seeing it at the retail store. Love the fact it still 'Made in Germany' with the classic Adidas look. The soft leather provide perfect fit without the need of break in like my last pair. Overall extremely happy with purchase.
