Overall these are a great looking boot that perform well enough, but I think they're more to check a price point box than they are a staple of the line. Fit: I find the length of this boot to be about right, I wanted to try these after coming from the Magistas. I found the Magistas had to be a half size bigger than my normal shoe size to get the fit I was after. These ran exactly as my sort of "average" shoe size. The mid foot is a little snug and you can expect a little soreness on the outside mid-foot for a few uses until you get your laces dialed in right. I do find I have to keep the higher/top laces slightly more loose to accommodate this, which doesn't quite lock my heel in the way I would prefer. The toe box/forefoot is quite spacious. Performance: touch is very nice, not the softest boot of all time, but more than thin and soft enough to be comfortable with the ball and get a good touch. I do however find that with a quick change of direction and hard plant that my foot slips a lot. As in, I don't recall slipping this my outdoor in turf shoes. Maybe this is unique to my experience, but it's a cause of concern for me. I think the "sock liner" is mostly for aesthetics, as it doesn't really provide the locked in feel that I've grown used to from a sock-liner boot, but I like the seamless feel of having no tongue to slide around. Overall I think this boot is available for price point. I don't know that it's the price difference between than the boot below it if you're looking for value, nor do I know if you're really getting enough of a value to go with this over the boot above it. The fit is good with adjustment, the feel is good, the boot is attractive, the overall performance is so so.
My Predators were getting close to retirement, so I purchased these a few weeks ago. The blue ones had just released, which was great because the green was too bright for me. Took them out to field before a game to break them in, but they were super comfortable from the start. The Primemesh/sock-like thing takes a second to get into because its a little tight, but it adheres well once your foot is in. Overall, great cleats, would recommend.
These boots were great quality and a great fit....my son lives for football and was delighted with them... the 25 per cent discount was an added bonus...i have bought a lot of boots off your site and really cant fault the product ease of ordering and delivery
Having bought and worn many pairs of football boots over the years I have always been interested in the innovation of these products and how decisions are made in terms of ending certain lines and replacing these with new lines. I have had adidas boots since having Adidas Valencia in the 1980's and have done the whole journey from World Cups through Etrusco Unico, Predators, F50's, X Boots and now the Ace. I am still getting used to these but from the first time that you put them on you feel that a lot of the recent incarnations were preludes to this moment. Light, snug but robust. designed to feel part of your foot but also to offer protecton, the design is fantastic and reminds me of the Predators worn by Zidane and Backham circa 1998 but with a modern flourish. The round studs are a welcome return as ACL injuries are more common place in women's football and this should alleviate some of the problems caused by blades and traction studs. They look fantastic on the Telly and gorgeous on your feet. you will get noticed but most importantly they offer security and feel and as said earlier seem to be the perfect hybrid of a light, technical boot that will more than meet most players needs. I have had so many pairs of football boots I have lost count but these would definitely be in my top 3 even at this stage and who knows they could be the boot we have all been waiting for. Well done Adidas
So light and comfortable. I may not be the best player in the world but I have definitely noticed an improvement in my game. I can run more easily and my shooting has definitely improved plus they look awesome.
My daughter had a pair of X15.1 shoes that she loved and literally was wearing them out. I purchased the primeknit model as a 2nd pair. She said she wouldn't change shoes but took to them right away. Very comfortable and minimal break in time. She hasn't worn her prior shoes since. I just wished they offered these shoes in youth sizes with different colors.
Got these boots last week, after speaking to adidas specialist they told me to buy size 9 and a half, they have arrived and a slightly too big but apart from that great boots, perfect width and very comfortable, I would recommend these
Great pair of cleats. Almost feels like they grasp on to your foot. The color is eye candy once they hit the pitch. Easily in my top 3 cleats ever at number 2. Would be awesome if Adidas made these Pure Controls in Leather, the molding on to the foot would be the cream to the cake! Amazing cleats overall right away I was able to control the ball and make great contact.
So I was waiting for these for quite some time and was quite sceptical about the non laces but I have to see wearing them in a game last week the touch and feel on the ball is quite amazing. Looking forward to playing in them this season!
Idk if it's just me or not but I've been playing in them for months now thinking they should be broken in but I've gotten bad shin splints from having no arch support because of how flat the cleat is.
Thought I would try this after many years with another brand. Foot moves around slightly but the boot is probably about 1/2 size too big, going to try a second pair of socks and see how I go. if you were to buy these you should get either a size smaller or half a size smaller.
For the price you can't go wrong. I've always brought adidas boots and these are up there with the best I've worn. Extremely comfortable and look the part. Love the tonge type predator look. Would get them again with out thinking twice.
These boots are spectacular, the boots for me ran a bit small I had to buy a size up from my original boot size but that's nothing, the only thing I'm not pleased about is that there is no SG version of them!
Theyre so comfortable, best choice ever because i was forever retying my shoelaces every few minute and now i dont have to bother because no laces and these feet so well with my feet and are just perfect.
I've been wanting to get my hands on a pair of cleats like these for such a long time, ever since I got my Preditor Instinct, I didn't think there would be a better pair that would be as comfortable and fit just as good as they did, but when I received these in the mail I instantly put them on, and they fit just like a glove. Amazing purchase, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
Lovely looking boot but you don't expect some of the blue metallic coating to peel off after the first hours wear of them -which for the money they are you wouldn't expect them to do this ! But everything else about the boot is spot on .
absolutely love the whole package. Adidas not the first to try laceless but certainly appears to have nailed it!! they fit tight and arent the easiest shoe to get on but once you figure out best way you will LOVE them.
I've owned a pair of X15.1's for a little over 6 months and have found them to be amazing. They are extremely durable and show very little wear on the upper. Sole plate separation is minimal and this is with playing four times a week on AG pitches. The only downside is the heel counter, the material doesn't have a full "lockdown" feel and it definitely allows your heel to slide up and down a bit. If it had a different material to prevent heel slippage then I would rate this boot 5/5.
The Adidas 16.2 Primemesh is very comfortable and quite fits nicely, especially myself having wide feet. Has a great touch on the ball and have done better in comfortability compared to my tiempos. I would definatley reccomend these boots to anyone, but of you do want better than do get the Adidas 16.1 Primeknit, but if thats not in your budget than these do quite good. Great boots from adidas.
I previously purchased the Ace 16.1 Firm Ground boots. They are extremely good quality and very comfortable. I was so pleased with the extremely fast shipping and I definitely recommend these boots to sports player wether you are elite or amateur, these boots are excellent.
A present for my grandson who was delighted to say the least. One problem his name was spelt wrong The support team were very helpful and did everything they could to resolve the issue. My grandson wore them for a tournament in Portugal had a fantastic time and the boots added to a memory he will treasure.
Exquisite design, colorwave, and overall feel! These boots feel great and I love the bag as well as the additional comforting sockliner. Just a little disappointed that I did not receive a shoe horn but it was still easy to slip them right on.
Im writing on behalf of my son who recently got a pair of these cleats. He has been wearing adidas for most of his soccer playing which is now at almost 12 years which means we have purchased close to 24 pairs of Adidas as he plays indoor and outdoor. I finally decided to get the latest greatest without having him try them on. The issue is that they are extremely stiff towards the toes and after about 30 minutes of playing in them it becomes extremely uncomfortable and painful to play in. The size is right so we aren't sure what to do. We are trying to stretch them out to see if that helps. The claim is there is no need to break these in but not seeing it. He loves them when he first puts them on but not being able to wear them for more than 30 minutes is a disappointment. Maybe they'll break in eventually
Perfect boot. This boot is more comfortable than the magista. It feels like a slipper. The durability is great. It looks great on the pitch. It looks much better and smarter than the bright colours, the non-stop grip is amazing. I'm doing things I've never done before.
I picked up a pair of Gloros on a whim. Once I tried them on I knew I had to buy them. They had the comfort and familiarity of the 11pro but with a more substantial k-leather upper which was buttery soft. I was amazed at the quality of the k-leather on a shoe of this price. I have a pair of Nike Tiempo Legend 6 boots and I honestly prefer wearing the Gloros more. I find them more comfortable with an amazing touch on the ball. I am a size 10 but I did go down a size. Not because they felt loose at my normal size but I took into account the upper stretching a bit due to the k-leather. I was glad I did as the shoes fit and feel perfect. The Gloro is my favorite that I own and i own a lot of soccer boots.
