When I first received the shoes, I was a bit disappointed because I wasn't sure if the material quality looks as good as the picture. I kept them still because I really needed a new pair of shoes. THEY RUN SMALL - I have a pair of adidas that were sz8 and they are big on me so I ordered 7.5 for this pair but they are really small!!! I had to make a return and purchased half size bigger. Even sz8 was a bit tight at the beginning but after just wearing them 3 times, they are now perfect! They look SO GOOD with my outfits and they are very comfortable - I especially like that they do not have laces that makes stretching really easy and nice!!! The more I wear them, I love them more!!!
A big fan of how the shoe looks and it gets its fair share of compliments (I wear it casually). It's super light, provides fairly good support, and the mesh cover definitely keeps things cool. A few critiques: The insole moving around is a problem for the first few days but it settles in. A week later, not a problem when putting it on but the insole does still pop when taking the shoe off. I've also found that the lower edge of the shoe (white and red) picks up scuffs pretty easy. They wipe off but kind of annoying. None of this would scare me away from purchasing again.
I should have bought a size bigger its bit tight at the moment i hope it loosens up a bit, also the material is very thin at the toe area which may tear up quick but i hope not but overall it wasn't a bad purchase it looks great and comfy apart from the toe area
I haven't worn a pair of Adidas in a while but when I saw these on the shelf, I had to get them. They are low profile, lightweight and really attractive daily runners and not overly priced. I love these shoes and will def look into doubling up! Also, the ash purple is a little more vibrant in person and almost looks like a blue-purple.
Since I've started using these shoes for running, I ordered another pair for work (I work 12-hr shifts in an ICU; lot's of running around and comfort is crucial to survive a day or night without blisters). These shoes are light and airy; excellent for whatever kind of running you do - from short jogs to 12-hr work days on your feet. Highly recommended.
Aside from the metrics of a narrow space at the ball fo the foot, this choe breathes well, is light on the foot and is comfort in flat terrain. I would avoid a too-rocky path as the light weight of the sole does not add to rock protection.
I love these shoes they are so light and comfortable. I recently started running for my first 5k and my old running shoes were heavy and worn out. These make it so much easier to achieve my goal because of how comfortable they are.
My first pair of adidas sneakers. While they look sweet! I didn't feel it fit correctly or comfortably. They weren't snug enough on the front part of my feet. The insole slides around while wearing them and out when you are taking them off. It may be the style but I wouldn't buy this style again.
I begged my parents for my first pair of Adidas as a 10th birthday present, more than 40 years ago. And have worn only Adidas ever since. I have had many favorite pairs over the years and these rank right up there. Their light weight makes them my "go to" shoe for traveling.
I have very narrow long feet and these fit perfectly. I also have pretty sweaty feet and these shoes are great for that. My feet haven't overheated once! One thing I don't like is the insole, while it is a waterproof material so it doesn't soak up sweat, it is pretty slippery inside the shoe and it tends to move around. Overall a great shoe, I love them.
These are the best summer shoes i ever had, very lightweight, very breathing, very comfortable, and i find them very stylish. Mine are in red and purple color, they look perfect with every skirt , dress and shorts I have. My feets never become wet in these shoes, even if it's realy hot. Perfect! Sizing is very true, and again - really comfortable .
Love the feel, light and supportive. My biggest complaint is the inner sole. It's not attached, so i literally have to fully unlace and place my foot in the shoe rather than slide it in (sliding it in makes the sole crumple into the toe of the shoe). Maybe it's a defect, so i'm considering returning them for a replacement. Then i'll see if it's part of the intent or design. But overall, love the look and love the feel (as soon as the sole get's flattened out!)
the good: they're light and feel like wearing socks. the bad: they have a plastic insert that is loose and hard to put feet in and pull out without it the insert coming loose. surprised adidas haven't fixed this issue.
ordered these shoes with a little hesitation as the pic sometimes is a little misleading. The show came a little brighter blue than I thought. it fit just right and felt nice for a few steps. I ended up wearing them the rest of the day that I got them and was very happy with them! Got lots of steps in and cushion on the shoe was great. it does slide out a little bit but nothing that you cant adjust on your own. To top if off, I received lots of compliments already on the shoe! def a good purchase and may pick up the red one as well! Thanks Adidas!
If you are looking for a pair of running shoes, or just any shoes in particular, these are definitely the shoes for you. Not only are they extremely comfortable, but they provide great support and are also some of the best looking shoes out there. So if you are even hesitant about buying these, or any other shoes, there's no need to be any longer cause all you have to do is click that purchase button up there and you will not even sort of regret it.
Sizing is off by about an entire size, maybe even just a half. Usually a size 10.5 due to a wide foot, however I ordered a size 10.5 on the SL Loops and they are a little big, so I ordered these in a size 10 thinking they would fit just right, but they were way too small. Shipped them back, didn't reorder. Still a really nice looking shoe though.
I'm a size 7.5 US and due to the reviews I ordered a half size up (8 US) . They fit perfectly without socks and a little tight with ankle socks. Great slip on design, very lightweight and comfortable.
Great shoes and value for money. Very comfortable and love the fabric, very cool. The only downside, is the inner sole shifted quite a bit in the first few days. It has settled now and I love the shoes.
I sail on a small one design 24' sailboat and launch my SUP on a rocky beach. These are perfect. Great grip on the boat (and no toe stubbing) when sliding around on the foredeck and ventilated perfectly for getting my feet soaked launching the SUP. Water flows right through and they dry in a heart beat.
I bought a size 4 in these trainers, I'm usually a UK size 3 but size up for Adidas trainers and these fit like a dream. The sole is incredibly comfortable to run in and absorbs shock really well. There are air holes in the bottom of the sole allowing air to circulate and keep your feet cool. The shoe itself is very flexible too. I find myself wearing these even when I'm not running because the pattern is so nice!
I am normally a 12 in adidas but I saw the reviews that said to size up so I ordered a 12.5. That was too small and when I sized up to a 13 they were still too tight. I ended up returning all of them and purchasing a different shoe entirely.
First of all, this is my very first Boost shoe and I must say they did NOT disappoint! The boost technology makes it feel like you are bouncing as you run. I've tried on the pure boost and the ultra boost before and I loved them so I wanted to get something different. I ended up getting these because I wanted a runner and casual shoe in one. They look and feel great on feet! Things to take note of though is that the boost on these shoes is a bit less than the pure and ultra boost... I would suspect this just because this shoe seems to focus more on minimalist running as opposed to something bulky or a light jog. Another thing to point out that is a BIG deal is sizing. These shoes hug very tightly. I am generally a 9 or a 9.5 (more with 9 though) and even with the 9.5 order, since I read the reviews, it still seems a hair bit small. It's not enough for me to return them but if I went with 10, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have any problems. Overall, excellent shoes! I am a HUGE Adidas fan, and now I can say I am a HUGE boost fan!
I had a pair of slip on Superstars, that I loved and have missed for over 10 years. Adidas have finally made a pair but they are hard to get on. I would suggest getting a half or even a size larger so you can get them on with socks.
Beware of the very loose insoles on these. I ordered these in size 8.5 and thought that was too large since I had about an inch of space in front of my toe. So I ordered a pair in size 8 and although the length was almost perfect, a bigger issue arose, where the insole of the shoe would get shifted/pushed forward when putting on the shoe. I noticed a similar issue in the size 8.5 where the insole was very loose and would easily come out when taking off the shoe. In the end, I decided to stick with the 8.5 since it's much worse/difficult to have to try and fix the insole after you've already put your foot in the shoe compared to just putting the insole back in place after I've taken the shoe off. They're breathable with the mesh material but I feel like I might end up ripping it with my big toe. They also seem to get dirty easily especially on the bottom white rubber part. They're not perfect but I still like them and recommend them!
Disclaimer: I have foot problems and my feet tend to hurt. The shoes are well ventilated, and that is what I wanted. However, there is very little cushioning for the bottom of the foot. There are little holes in the bottom, which I like because it helps to ventilate the shoe and keep your foot cooler. However, the little holes hurt a little bit when your foot presses down - as for instance when you walk. I'm still keeping an open mind. I may up liking this shoe in the end. I think it's a great idea, personally. The way they have ventilated the shoe, that is. And I caught the shoes on sale, so the price was certainly reasonable. I'd be interested to read other reviews of this shoe to see what others think.
