I bought my pair of Ultra Boost back in April and now have over 300 miles on them. The shoes have far exceed expectations. I have been running exclusively in adidas boost products for over two years now. When these were coming out for release I was a little bit skeptical mainly due to the price. I got to run a couple of test miles in a pair of ultras and quickly realized it was the real deal shoe. The upper knit is super comfortable and makes for a breathable design on any run. The extra boost material give a comfortable landing on every step. One thing with a boost product is that you can run in the shoe day after day without reduction in the performance of the midsole. The rubber flex sole is a draw back but after three hundred miles the sole has seen a reduction in the rubber knobs but the sole is still in tact. I am thinking that I can get to 800 miles on these shoes. Excited to see what new colors will be coming in 2016. Thanks adidas!!!
I now have 3 pairs of the ultra booat and can't imagine another shoe as comfy as these. I only wear Adidas but the ultra boost are by far the best. Can't get a more comfortable and true to size shoe out there! Defenitly worth the price! Way to go Adidas!
I am not an athletic person, I do try to keep fit. These are my first Boost series shoes and I am never going back to anything else. The fit is fantastic, the grip on the road perfect, the feedback you get on your sole is surprising.
Really in love with the design and color scheme. These are really comfortable and have a certain mystique because it looks great for casual or for running purposes. I am starting to dig the boost technology. Hire me Adidas? Would love to work at adidas
I like the fit of these shoes. I prefer my shoes to be very snug and these fit just right. I had to return 2 previous adidas cleats because they ran 1/2 size too large but these ones fit how I expect them too.
I own a pair of Primeknit 2.0s alongside these and the knit upper truly makes the difference in terms of keeping comfort while maintaining a feel for the ball and staying lightweight. The difference between these and the 2.0s is that while the 2.0s seemed closer to the adizero, these definitely seemed specifically designed for the central midfielder. The studs, fit, and texture all help in improving the touch on the ball and the "feel" behind passes or shots. Top level athlete impressed by another top flight boot by Adidas.
well first I would like to thank adidas for what they made just to please their customers, when i tried it that feeling was great, its give me speed control and accuracy, the material quality is premium, GOOD JOB ADIDAS AND KEEP THE GOOD WORK. THANK YOU.
This sneaker is so versatile and unique. I have to agree that it runs 1/2 bigger. I usually wear a size 9, but I ordered a size 8.5 and it fits beautifully. Shipping was so quick! I am truly satisfied with my order. I recommend these kicks to anyone.
You're probably looking at these shoes because they look great and they look even better in real life. Easily some of the coolest things to have on your feet, but I felt them to be a bit narrow. I tend to have this problem with most adidas shoes however, so for normal shaped feet I imagine it'll be fine!
I'm a woman but a sneaker head and Adidas is my FAVORITE sneaker. I brought this shoe in blue and yellow and the picture does this sneaker no good in person they are BEAUTIFUL! !! . They are very cushiony and comfortable. My left toe is broke so most shoes bother that foot and I always need a half size bigger but I ordered the 8 men's and I wear a 91/2 ladies and it's great. I also got it for 38.00 omg well worth the price. The delivery from this site is amazing I have my shoes in my hand 3 days after ordering I love this site, I also get confirmation from Adidas when they arrive at my door.
I think these are great running trainers for winter, or even just to move around. The sole is incredibly soft and you feel like you are walking on wool. I have worn them in this relatively warm weather and it might keep you feet a bit too warm but for winter time they are perfect.
i love the way this shoes look. its comfortable. Like everyone said it does run larger, i bought it in store so i have the chance to try on different sizes. Just as a comparison i have adidas superstar size 8.5, for this tubular i bought size 7. I know it sounds crazy 1.5 sizes down, but trust me i'm wearing it right now.
My title pretty much sums it up. First, the good: This has to be one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Appearance is great; Fit is great (I wear 9.5, but went with a half size up and don't regret it). The "sock-like" weave fit is so comfortable, and the boost material really seems second to none. Here's the MAJOR problem: the outer most sole wears faster than any other shoe I've ever owned. I'm generally a fast walker and occasional light jogger. The "nubs" are now completely gone and starting to cause very slippery conditions when wet or on slick surfaces, and I've only had these shoes about 6 months. For the life of me, I wanted to give this shoe a 5-star rating, but for $180, you would think "the greatest running shoe ever" would put a quality and revolutionary outer sole that would last? Why not use your Continental rubber soles like on other Adidas shoes? So disappointed, Adidas.
These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They do fit a little tight but because of the knit material making it more of a sock feel. I'd recommend going a half size up for more room but overall these shoes are amazing and very stylish as well.
This shoe fits perfectly and they stretch so that you can slip them on and off easily even when tied. The laces stay tied and they are not too long or short. They are super comfortable and easy to move around in. They are easy to clean. But my one gripe with them is that the outsoles squeak like mad against any kind of smooth floor. It doesn't matter if they've been broken in or not, I've had mine for a few months and the squeaking is super loud and will not stop.
This shoes is so comfortable I had to buy it in two colorways. I recently bought some air max 15 prior to buying my first ultra boost in solar red. The boost are way more comfortable to run in than the air max. I recently picked up some ultra boost in a core black colorway when the website had my size available and I have to say, the primeknit material feels a lot different than the primeknkt material on my solar reds. I'm not sure if I got a defective pair but other than that it is still a nice shoe. They also look great so you can wear them with almost anything.
I'm lucky enough to have picked these out as a Parkrun Sweatshop prize back in May this year and wanted something better than my cheap Karrimors. So when I was told I could pick anything off the shelf at any price, I was like a kid in a sweet shop! These were an instant favourite because of how comfy they were in the shop. The upper fits like a glove around my feet and the sole makes walking and running feel as though you are walking on air. Now, historically I tend to get a bit of discomfort with any new pair of trainers which tends to disappear after a few short outings, so I wasn't put off by the tingley pins and needles I felt on my first few runs. However, I have persevered and run almost 200 miles in them but I consistently start to feel the pins and needles effect after only 4 miles and by 6 miles it becomes almost unbearable. It has got better over time and I ran a half marathon in them recently, but they were extremely uncomfortable from 8 miles onwards. Some have commented on the durability of them, and while mine are not falling apart, the black grip on the soles wore down to flat very quickly. Something I wouldn't expect from a pair of trainers with such a hefty price tag on them. I really wanted to get on with these trainers but unfortunately, I will not be spending any money on another pair.
Ultra Boost shoes fit like a glove and have been perfect for all workouts in the gym. I have used my pair indoor for about six months and there is no sign of wear at all. They grip perfectly on the slickest wood floor during weight training. They fit like part of the body and perhaps the most important point is that they are not noticed while running on the treadmill - it is as though they are part of you. Hardly any weight. Added bounce. Best workout shoes ever!
My son and I walked by a new Adidas shoe store in the mall and decided to go in. He was looking for a new pair of running/walking shoes and was trying some on, the sales person was telling us about these new shoes Ultra Boost shoes and here exclusive Adidas soles and tops that are so comfortable it's like walking on air and they boost you while running ? My son was ready to leave but I tried the shoes on and convinced him to also. We didn't take them off and wore them home . I'm on my feet all day and I love these shoes ! Probably the best shoes I've ever owned ! P.S. I was wearing a new pair of New Balance running shoes when we went into the store !
I like the shoe a lot but they run about a size small on me. I have purchased 5 pair of Adidas over the last 3 years, from running shoes, to Dragon, to LA Trainers, and size 9 has always been just right for me. But these in a size nine are way too short for me. I will return them. I would have given them 5 stars if sizing had been consistent with my other Adidas shoes.
I have high arches and need a lot of cushion for my runs. With my custom insoles inserted , these are the best running shoes I have tried on so far . So plush and great ventilation for long runs. my feet never feel hot or sweaty, even after a 1/2 marathon. So far I have ran 3 races in these shoes and i can always hashtag #PR in my race photos. hahaha. Yes, They are a little more narrow compared to nikes, but i feel like the snug gives my foot extra support. My foot doesnt' feel like its sliding around in my shoes when I run; it stays in place comfortably. A big plus about these shoes is that even after 250 miles, they still look GREAT! it retains its shape so nicely. from afar, they look brand new still and I like how the dirt wipes off easily (I have black shoes so idk about the white boosts). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for beginner runners, averaging 15-20 miles a week , or running 1/2 marathons.
I'll make a few comparisons with the Adipure 360.3, even though that's a trainer instead of a runner. Bear with me, please. Pros: 1. Having a full-length Boost sole in a running shoe is luxurious. It's very cushy and bouncy, yet extremely flexible. I'm a mid/forefoot striker, but in these shoes I can easily shift to rear-foot striking if I need to—and my heels don't scream at me in protest. 2. The bevel in the Boost sole seems to stabilize the shoe a bit: I can do single-leg deadlifts in this shoe, as long as I don't shift all my weight too far to the front of my foot. I don't really recommend these shoes for single-leg activities, as they're definitely runners—but I'm pleasantly surprised I'm not all wobbly while balancing in them. (If you've ever tried to balance like that in a pair of Pure Boosts, you know what I mean.) 3. The upper is stretchy and very breathable. I wore these sockless for 10 minutes on a treadmill, and there was a noticeable breeze running across the top of my feet. 4. As with the Adipure, I love the bootie construction. No detached tongue to fuss with, and I get full lace burn protection. 5. The outsole is grippy. Right out of the box, the outsole was actually too grippy. It sounded like I was walking across a sticky movie theater floor. 20 minutes of walking/running in place on carpet and a yoga mat solved that. Cons: 1. Sizing runs long. I wear an 8 in the Adipure, with a comfy half inch gap between the tip of my big toe and the interior front of the shoe. In the Ultra Boost size 8, that gap's a full inch long. I'll try a 7.5 soon. I bought the 8 instead because I thought the smaller size might be too narrow. 2. The plastic lacing system is a rigid cage that makes the shoe too tight on my wide left foot. (It doesn't aggravate my right foot at all.) I guess the thick plastic's meant to lock down the midfoot, since the fabric upper's so stretchy. But the cage is very unkind to wide feet. To fix that, I changed my lacing technique on the left shoe: I completely skip the 2nd holes, and lace the others in typical crisscross fashion. I also don't lace that shoe too tightly. This lets the second pair of plastic stripes skim my foot, while the other stripes provide support. It keeps the cage from digging hard into my foot. So far, it seems to work well. 3. My heels slide out a bit. That's partly due to the long sizing, I'm sure. But also, the Ultra Boost's collar is looser than the Adipure's—probably because the shoes don't use the same kind of fabric upper. (My heels never slip out of the Adipures.) And the heel counter isn't really locking me down. Wearing thicker socks doesn't help much. Hopefully a smaller size will make a difference. 4. I'm pretty sure the outsole won't last long, especially after seeing other people's photos of worn-down nubs. If I keep these shoes, I'll definitely have to rotate them with other pairs. If the smaller 7.5 size resolves two of those cons, I'll happily keep 'em.
These are a great option if you like the tubular shoe line but prefer something with ankle support. If you've purchased tubulars before you know they aren't the easiest to drive in but these tubulars don't get stuck on pedals at all.
I love the shoe. Very comfortable and you can really feel the energy return. Only draw back is that i feel my heel slipping out when doing my runs, had to remove the insole for my foot to go deeper in the the shoe and for my heel not to slip out.
My boyfriend ranted and raved about his boosts and was telling me I needed a pair. We do a lot of walking/exploring NYC and I always complain about my feet hurting. I decided to buy these and it was probably the best purchase I've ever made. I was a bit skeptical about spending such a large sum of money on them, but I definitely do not regret it. These are the comfiest sneakers I have ever worn. I own 3 Nike Frees and a pair of Roshe and the comfort level does not come close. I might have to buy a pair for the gym as well!
