micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
Very lightweight and thin material, good choice of colours as well. Goes for the short-short look I was aiming for, the sizing is a bit confusing though. I highly recommend this for shorts for gym, running or cycling- anything really.
Was looking for a bright pair of shorts for running in the mountains, saw these thought they look like they would do the job, then saw them on sale and grabbed them. Took them for a test through the woods, comfy like an old pair normally wear compression shorts but fine without. Good and bright, put a smile on your face, fabric smooth light polyester with a bit of stretch so am thinking may not snag, I run trail. The inside pants bit could be a bit deeper so can pull up higher, but I guess needs to be supportive. Job done, think they'll be great.
Very nice and comfortable short with climachill fabric material. a clarification: there is no inner fitted shorts inside and also no aluminum dots (thankfully). There is no drawcord, so after reading the reviews I went a size down and it was better. I'm a medium (32" waist) and I got a small and they fit well. I actually like the no-drawcord, easy to put on and take off!
These are a great pair of shorts and I'm very happy with this unique colour, so much so I even purchased the matching Clima chill shirt. The fit and feel are great for working out or daily wear. Another quality Adidas product at a sensible price.
Oh Adidas designers! I know from previous models to buy medium size even though I'm a large or x large in almost all other shorts including relaxed sizing. However add a phone to my right pocket and a few keys to my left pocket without a drawstring they hang way too low. What were you guys thinking? Would love a response ! Please go back to the original model.
Nice and lightweight. The quality of the materials is excellent as well. This is my first pair of running specific shorts (normally, I wear soccer shorts when I run), and they are the slightest tight around the waist. Again, I can't compare to other running shorts, so that might be typical. The liner/briefs on the inside is nice and not too tight and not loose. I am 5' 10" (178 cm) tall, and the leg opening sits about 2/3 of the way down my thigh...so just about right. They are slightly longer in the back.
I had to return the product because of the size. Usually size M is perfect for me, but in this short the waist was 4 - 5 cm larger than my size. I recommend to check the waist before buying. otherwise is great, soft and nice.
I have been for 6 runs in these shorts distances 3 to 10 miles. When I run more than 3 miles in these shorts I have been left with sores on my male anatomy from the inner pant. Never experienced this with any other shorts.
These are a perfect running short. Really comfortable and long lasting. But if you're looking at colours, go by the photo of the short not what it looks like on the model... the light is a little deceptive.
These shorts are super cute, I got them in blue. I love how quality the fabric feels and the design is great. I love the compression underneath. I say almost perfect because I don't have a thigh gap, although athletic, and these shorts do ride up when I walk. Pretty much all shorts do this to me though so it is nothing new. I would still highly recommend these shorts, true to size.
Wear these as general training and running shorts, they are very lightweight and comfortable with a slightly long cut to the knee. Only thing I would say is make sure you have the right size as they are elasticated with no adjustment. I am a 32 waist with a size M which feels like I am the bottom end of so could easily wear a S.
The shorts look really cool, and felt okay all during my 22-mile long run, but later that day, my wife was horrified to find the pattern of holes in the liner emblazoned on a certain part of my anatomy afterwards. This took the better part of a week to clear up, during which time there was no joy for Mighty Casey. Suffice to say, I'll be using these for shorter runs in the future.
I love that these have silicone grips, and I hope that this means Adidas will be putting them in all of their running shorts. I do wish that they came in other colors. I am not a fan of the bubblegum pink, but I bought them to encourage the use of the grips.
The supernova shorts are ideal for running and spinning in. I have just completed a half marathon in them and they were so comfortable and light. They are the usual adidas quality and the fit is very good. Like the little zip pocket which is a very handy feature to have. Definitely recommend this product.
I'm really fussy with running shorts and found these great. Fit well and were chafe free. Used on Marathons and Ultras with confidence and ran them into destruction. Only downside is that the pocket was a little too small, couldn't fit my iPod in when not carrying a backpack.
If not for the material, these would be great shorts. The inner brief is fantastic but the outer material isn't soft. On a 10 mile run, the shorts chaffed on my inner thigh at the bottom of the shorts.
First decent pair of short shorts I've seen from adidas and I'm sorely disappointed by the lack of available color choices. Grey and Black are not colors and only cater to people training. I run for a school sponsored by adidas and the shorts provided are an older model and not at all comfortable so I'm always looking to see if adidas has released something new and better looking and when they finally do they still don't have what I need. Please add more variety to your product, not only will it help me and people like me looking for something specific but you'll make more money because people will buy more pairs.
Without getting too detailed, the inner liner is not entirely smooth. Easy runs are ok, but track workouts and treadmill runs have resulted in some ugliness. Adidas, please bring back the smoother liner! Pleaase!!
The outer fabric is excellent, comfortable, meshed and fast drying. The inner, compression pants have too low an elastane content which makes them awkward to pull on and don't give enough support. Not up to Adidas standard!
I really wanted to like these, because I always wear shorts with long liners. The shorts themselves are great, light and airy, dried quickly, cool. But the liners....ugh. Formless and not very good at containing things. I was constantly tugging and pulling them up, then pulling them down. Geez, Adidas, did a real guy try these on before you started making them? Anyway, true to size, but only a C+. Wearable but not all that great. Don't think I'll buy another pair. Too bad.
How difficult can it be to find a pair of running shorts that do not cover half or the entire upper thigh? Not easy, I think they must have gone out of fashion. But then I found these 2.5" inch split shorts at our local Adidas Store. They are comfortable to wear: light and with a perfect fit. And they have a nice neutral look with a quality feel.
