Reflectivity works great, I saw a lot of people complaining about it, but honestly they must not own the shoe because it looks stunning in car headlights or in flash photography. Best shoe for night running I've found yet. Fits like a glove and is fairly priced as well.
This purchase was definitely worth it. I totally would recommend buying. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. I only have a problem with piling. After maybe 3 or 4 wears they started piling and it it was upsetting. I absolutely love the shoes reguardless, just upset with the piling.
I bought these shoes for marathon training and I am now on my second pair. They are the perfect balance of comfort for longer runs, combined with speed. I also now need only one shoe for training and racing! Brilliant.
I have narrow feet & this shoe is a God send. Because the center isn't attached to the bottom of the shoe, I don't have a problem with my foot sliding. The back does rub initially but after a 2 weeks of wearing them I don't notice
I finally worn out my second pair of supernova 7's and fancied an upgrade to the new supernova 9. Felt fine when I tried them on, but after a few miles running in them, I was feeling a discomfort under both my feet arches. Whilst there is huge amounts of cushioning, this was far too soft and resulted in my foot hitting the harder mid cushioning layer. felt like stepping on a stone every time I ran. I cannot run in these shoes, they are too painful. the old supernovas were great - i would recommend them to any neutral runner. the newest design is oh so terrible. £100 wasted.
I do recommend you this pair of shoes - Alphabounce. They fit me well, nice looking and very comfortable. I just only think that Ultra Boost ones will be hard to keep clean. However, these Alphabounce are much easier, trust me. They are worth more than the price 110$. If anyone used Converse at size 8 US (41,5 EUR) before, I would believe you order these alphabounce at size 9 (nearly 42,5 EUR) to ensure your pleasure when breakin' in, based on your foot's width. Hope u choose best ones if u order online.
Received these as part of my Avenue A box... what a pleasant surprise! Not a shoe that I would have picked out for myself, but once I had them on I was in love! So comfortable, sturdy, and great materials. I got the gray and they match everything! Easy to clean so far. I ordered a half size down and they still have a tiny bit of extra room, I don't quite think a full size down would have been big enough for me. These are a replacement (and upgrade!) for my Nike Free's. A lot more sturdy and suthan those, but just as lightweight :)
Had to put my Boosts from last year to rest and upgraded to the PureBOOST. These are undoubtedly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They literally feel like they are part of my body. So lightweight, extremely comfortable and the design is so so cool. I have had multiple strangers compliment these shoes which is rare in lower Manhattan. I highly recommend these for running, cardio or just as your everyday go to if you are fortunate enough to wear sneakers to the office. :-)
Great for over-pronaters for long runs. The boost system does well in reducing shocks through body for each step taken in the run. With these trainers i can run a half marathon and do have any issue.s
This is a terrible update of my favorite trainer. It is basically a completely different shoe from the Glide 8. The new version feels clunky. They added about a half inch of stack height to the shoe for some reason. The tongue is ridiculously long and does not stay in place. It slides way over to the inside of the shoe. I went through 9 pairs of the Glide over the past three years and loved them. Now Adidas doesn't have a normal daily trainer in their lineup, so unfortunately I will have to look at other brands.
Previous models (pre-bounce) of Adizero Adios were my favorite running shoes for years (I still wear my old ones). I tried these, but they didn't feel as snug, comfortable and fast as the old ones. Something was off in where the arch sits too. Switched to Boston 6, which are great, if a little thicker in the sole. These, however, may suit others better, so I still reccommend.
These are just so very comfortable. My go-to running sneakers for several years was the Adizero Adios. I don't care for the new boost model of that shoe; something changed in the feel and support. Although these sit a little higher, they are my current fav; have 2 pair (and bought 2 more for family members). I'm not sure how the quality will play out. On my Adios, the mesh top eventually got holes, although it took a while. Will be curious to see how long the bounce sole has bounce.
I heard great things about these shoes and was looking forward to wearing them! However I'm 8.5 and that size was too large for me. The shoes were also quite wide without any arch support. So unfortunately I had to return them...
Beautiful craftsmanship. Just a well-designed shoe. I am a minimalist and I love neutrals. I usually go for black sneakers because I like neutrals AND rarely do you find a monochromatic nude sneaker. Found it! And Adidas nailed it, design-wise. From a size perspective, I had to a go a full size down from 7.5 to 6.5 but fortunately I purchased in the store.
These are the most comfortable non-durable running shoes I have ever purchased. I have put less than 100 miles of high speed walking on them and the tread is gone on the balls of my feet. And I love the Adidas and Taylor Made brands.
I love these shoes! I got them based on a reccomendation by a friend and I'm glad I did. i didn't feel like I had to break them in like I do with all of the other shoes I've ever gotten. they fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable right off the bat! I wish they had more colors to choose from because I would definitely get another pair if they had a blue/green or a purple option.
It's okay but to overrated got these a two day ago first time I wear them I dropped soap by mistake now I have a big white stain on the black toe area smh. 130 straight to the trash in less of a day. Very disappointed.
It's true to size! The shoes are well designed. I like how the shoe conforms to my feet. It is very very comfortable! I've always ran using the Free RN from another brand and this PureBoost X ATR are far more superior and more comfortable for running!
the toe box seems wider in the 6, so for me it's been the comfiest shoe to date. Lots of feedback from the road, while providing adequate cushioning and support. Lightweight for 5k's up to the marathon. Recently ran a 2:44 marathon in them, so pretty happy with that!
NO. Totally deceiving. The Xeno reflective areas are nowhere near what the pictures show on here. Extremely disappointed in them. I have the Xeno ZX Flux and those really reflect, these, nope. All that's good about them is that they're comfy and sleek black. They run a lil bit long/narrow, the material stretches to your foot.. think wetsuit material. But don't get these thinking they're going to be reflective or colorful, you'll be very let down.
Like the other reviews mentioned, it's too long when you go true-to-size. However once you go down half a size, the upper feels too constricted, making your feet feel tight. Don't know what the solution is except go down half a size, be uncomfortable for a while, and wait until they break in.
I first bought the UltraBoost in the "Core Black/Iron Metallic/Clear Grey" color in a men's 11 (I normally wear a women's 12) and they fit great. So I bought the Xeno's in an 11 and found them to be a little snug. I took the insoles out and now they fit great. The Xeno material isn't as reflective / noticeable as the ZX Flux version was. I'm happy with them but I think they should be around $80 - $100
I was super excited to get these, but disappointed when they arrived. My teenage daughter got her size in youth, and they fit beautifully.. I even tried those on and will consider getting a youth size instead. These were WAY too roomy. I felt like a clown in these, and had to look more than once to see if they had accidentally sent me a men's shoe. Going back :(
These shoes are great looking but the sizing issue almost makes them not worth it. These shoes run almost a full size big length wise. However, they run true to size in width, so if you go a size down to accommodate for the length issue your feet get squished. If you buy them in your normal size they are way too long. Just not worth is in my opinion.
Wasn't too jazzed about this shoe until I saw it in person and tried them on. Let me say that they Alphabounce EM is definitely worth the money. They fit true to size and are definitely comfortable. Of course, they aren't as comfortable as the Ultraboosts but they are definitely more of a conventional running shoe. From the wearers point of view the EM pattern gives similarity to the toe boxes of 1.0 and 2.0 Ultraboosts. And in this colorway, they remind me of moonrock Yeezy 350 V1s! I look forward to more colorways and will definitely cop more as they come. Thanks, Adidas!
