I love love love these shoes. They are smaller than the picture makes them look, but in the best way possible. they are extremely comfortable, much like walking on memory foam. the arch support is outstanding. Two things that did not bother me but might be a problem for others: 1.) the mesh is very thin. if you are looking for a shoe to wear in the winter, this is probably not for you 2. the back does come up very high. i can definitely see how this might be problematic/a cause for blisters for some people. i have a pretty arched tendon back there so it's not a problem at all for me. Another thing to note, the bottom mesh is not connected to the sole in the middle. this is not a problem at all it's just not something i noticed before purchasing. (Also the aglets are pink and blue) Overall, this is probably my favorite sneaker i've ever purchased. i looove these shoes!
15 yr old got blisters on back of ankles, she wanted to see if she could get used to but the shoe ripped within 2 weeks just wearing around school so we sent it back. Sad because she loved them and would've been comfortable besides blisters, they just come up to high in the back.
I was really sad because after only wearing two times the material on the prime knit on the toe box of the shoe stretched. I didn't even snag it and now it just looks really ugly because there is a big HOLE from the prime knit material and very noticeable because the shoe is white (probably wouldn't be so bad on a dark shoe like black. Very upsetting for a $180 shoe.
Cant say enough good things about them. A great running shoe. My knees and legs love them. No pain or discomfort after a good run. Thats coming from someone with a hx of knee pain. I guess im a girl who is officially in love with mens running shoes.
I own 3 pairs of these shoes. I love my first 2 pairs that have more of the cloth type material. It stretches just enough but fits my foot like a glove. My 3rd pair I don't really care for. The top is the mesh material. It is to stretchy and my foot feels like I have zero support on the sides. I love the elevated arch and boost. I feel like I'm walking on air. I wish they would put some piece of support at the toes because when I where them to the gym my feet slide forward with circuit training. I know there are trainers similar to these but I tried them and didn't love them. I hope they make another pair black and white mix for the fall. Mine from last year are the favorite pair of tennis shoes I've ever owned!
I have a different color pair for each day of the week. I am not even kidding. Some for dress and some for hard wear. Hands down this is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. For anything. Boost tech is incredible. Mix in the Primeknit upper and it becomes better yet.
When I tried these on at a running store, I decided to buy them even though they were heavier than I wanted because I was told they would last for more miles because of the rubber outersole and UB cushioning. I was very disappointed that at after 3 months of wear that the rubber sole has worn off the back outside rim of each shoe. My normal running shoes last longer than that. Whil The shoes are good for running and fit like a glove, but I would have opted for lighter, less expensive option if knew they were going to last the same amount of time.
I just bought this today at store. Love this shoes so much. One of the most comfortable shoes I've had. The middle part hold my feet so nice. I want to buy another pair differeny colors..waiting until sale ..hehe
I always go with Adidas shoes, and was super excited when I ordered these. But they were really uncomfortable. Other Adidas I never even had to 'break in', but these didn't get any less comfortable with wear. I first tried walking around town and my calves got sore, I ran and my soles got sore quick, I boxed and the floating arch support felt like no support at all. My ankles were slipping and hurting so bad after one workout. I'll be returning and trying another style. I still love Adidas for style and comfort, but this one wasn't for me.
These have got to be the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. There is almost no cushion it feels like walking on boards, there's a tongue seem that digs into your upper foot that is just painful after a short time. Got my pair and it was very clear that one shoe was stiffer than the other so it leaves you feeling off balance. Sure they look great but these are the worst shoes I have ever owned , its painful to walk in these let alone run. So disappointed in my purchase.
Arch Perfection but...the back comes up so high that it gave me blisters after wearing for 2 hours! I have high arches so I loved the arch support but sadly I will need to return due to the back. So bummed!
These are the best running shoes I've ever worn. I've logged a lot of miles and those I've logged in these have been the most enjoyable by far. I've recommended these shoes to multiple friends and will continue to do so.
I wanted to love these shoes as my last pair of addidas were my favorite shoes I've ever had. I have narrow but long feet, size 11. These fit true to size and actually hugged the width of my feet which Is so hard to find because most shoes Are too wide. Two drawbacks... Because of the mesh fabric-like construction the fit stretches. It doesn't fit as snug as when I bought them which I need Bc now my foot will actually twist or slide off the sole of the shoe when trying to do some classes and moves. Actually it worries me that I could injur my foot. Also, they are NOISY!!! I know, that sounds rediculous. Seriously though, every step is like a very loud squeak! In the gym you can hear me coming from the other side of it. I would not buy them again for that reason. It's that bothersome. Does anyone else have that problem? I'm sure it's the foam soles which I know are also the higher end selling point of these and what makes them so comfortable. I literally take them off before walking past my little girls room at night so I don't wake her. They are that loud on the wood floors at home. Somewhat laughable but annoying enough to keep me from buying them again esp at their price point. I'll go back to my previous addidas.
The product looks nice and feels nice for the most part, however the back of the shoe comes up so high on the ankle it has given me and many of my friends blisters and the whole shoe becomes uncomfortable to wear after a few hours
I usually wear a 5.5-6 in athletic shoes and took a 5.5 in these Pureboost X. The fit is snug and soft. The floating arch is a cool feature and provides good support. I have a low arch in my left foot and a normal arch on my right, so I do get some cramping in my left foot if I am doing a plyo workout. After a short break-in period, I can now walk and run short distances without any problems. I did have a blister at my heel due to the higher back after the first time I wore them, but since then, that hasn't been a problem. The shoes seem to get dirty very easily, but that is a consequence of the light color scheme I got (light green/blue with pink sole). I've noticed a loose string though, and it's only been a month, so I am a little concerned about that.
There is a very thick seam inside the shoe where the knit upper meets the "tongue" of the shoe. It causes Avery uncomfortable indentation in the top of my foot. If I wear the shoes for very long, they cause numbness on the top of my foot. I've even tried skipping lacing the strings in that area to take some of the pressure off, but it doesn't help much. I bought these shoes on the recommendation of a PT treating me for plantar faschitis, but this seam is so uncomfortable that I will look for an alternative shoe. I was really disappointed because they were so expensive.....
I am majorly impressed with these shoes. They are some of the lesser expensive shoes that addidas has to offer and they are much higher quality than I expected. They are insanely grippy, insanely light, and the breathe REALLY well. Every time a gust of wind comes my way, I can feel it between my toes. When I'm walking/ running, it feels no heavier than wearing socks! I'm a real customer by the way, in case you think I'm just some addidas rep trying to deceive all of you lol.
love the feel of boost on the shoe... the torsion system gets torn up pretty quickly and isn't the most stylish shoe... but works great for cross country and has a lot of mileage with minimum signs of being worn!
I ran my first Hood to Coast with these bad boys and I can confidently say that they were a huge reason I managed to complete the race in good time and less pain than expected. Keep up the good product creation!
I had to play around to get the sizing right and the shoes did rub my ankles a little at first, but once they were broken in, they were fine. I have high arches so lightweight shoes are hard for me to wear. So I really liked the arch support and the weight of these shoes a lot. I purchased them either in Jan or Feb and just noticed today that the bottoms are pretty worn through. I've run 2 5Ks, 2 10Ks, and usually run at least 5 miles a week, so these shoes have gotten a lot of use, but i'm still replacing them a solid 5-11 months sooner than I've ever replaced any other pair. That's something to keep in mind if your mileage is heavy!
This is my third year buying Adidas energy and adios boost - I am an elite athlete logging in high conditioning and Sprint kms as well as agility, adidas out performs all the other brands that I have tried in durability and endurance - I am excited that the adios has the contenential tread (will last even longer) !!! Thanks for making a superior shoe with competitive prices
These shoes and I don't pair well. This shoe is comfortable enough to walk in, but that's about it. First, I am a pretty true 6.5 when is comes to sneakers, this fit slightly short where my big toe would rub a tad against the top of the shoe with any forward movement. The boost "technology" is awesome If you're looking for a shoe with lots of cushion and bounce. I guess for me I look for a shoe that sits a little closer to the ground so I can have more stability. The gap at the bottom of the arch also contributes to that feeling of lack of stability. My feet end up hurting and feeling achy after wearing these for a gym session. I also tried doing a short run and these just killed my feet.
BEST SHOE EVER! Love using this shoe for short runs, weight lifting and doing bootcamp style workouts. Your foot feels amply supported around the foot; like it's being hugged! The boost cushioning is super springy and responsive which is great for jumping!
I wanted a lightweight pair of shoes for just running around in. My regular running shoes are just too bulky. These are perfect. I have wide feet and because of the sock like fit, they work perfectly. The backs come up too high on my ankle, but I just rolled them down a bit and it stays. I love the way it wraps my arch. I have plantar fasciitis and wear orthotics in my running shoes, but I can walk all day without pain in these. I tried a little run in them, but I need more cushion in my running shoes. I wouldn't hesitate wearing them to Disneyland all day though. I have the cute floral pair and I now need to buy another more neutral pair to wear with more things.
The shoe is great and super comfortable. However it did not last more than 3 months. The white sole part of the shoe is a plastic foam material and the smallest scuff causes damage. Also the actual sole of the shoe does not adhere to the plastic foam and began peeling off after 2 months.
