For years I complained that running companies let the guys have all of the cool colors and made all of the girls pastel only colors so I bought the mens stuff...even the shoes. I'm over that with this jacket. Now I think that men and women look good in most colors.. This one in particular is stunning. Sorry guys, if you can't find a women's that fits.
I wasn't too excited to see a pink and green jacket, but said I'd buy it regardless because it is part of the Boston Marathon experience. I have many other jackets and I like the idea of the traditional blue and yellow. But walking around this weekend it was so cool to see all of the other jackets, and you could tell the year by the colors. In the end, I like the jacket because it's my badge of honor for finishing. Congrats to all of the other runners! Wear the pink and green with your head held high!
I have every jacket for the last 4 years, and while last year's was my favorite because I love purple, this one is a close second! I love the colors, and especially the pink!! This year I did go with the size small while last year I got XS. Not sure if this year's is running smaller?? Overall great jacket, but agree with other reviews it could use thumb holes!
It came time to replace my Nike Free running shoes and I thought that I'd give the Adidas Solar Boosts a try. I average 30-35 miles a month and prefer a light and flexible shoe so the Solar Boost has been a good choice. I've noticed the arch support is not as high as the Free but it's not a big deal for me. I hope to get 300 miles out of these.
Fits perfectly so it's not too tight or loose. Very light material, and stays put when you're doing upside down poses during yoga. Lots of compliments and I am very excited that they released it in more colors.
I had talked myself into being ok with the pink accent colors. But then I got the jacket. I'm not ok with it. I'm not ok with the fact that the entire jacket is a different "lighter" color scheme. The equipment green that Adidas is standing behind is actually bright, bright neon turquoise that is specific to the women's jacket. That's not too apparent in the description nor in any press. It reminds me of my childhood when all things girl were pink and turquoise. I'm not a child anymore. I'm a grown person who dedicated the past 4 months of my life to this thing that we all love so much to do. That time in preparation for the race was neither lighter nor brighter than my male counterparts. It just was. Well, as a grown person I can also decide to return a jacket that screams "FEMALE runner" and not just runner. Shipping it back to Adidas.
I love that these have silicone grips, and I hope that this means Adidas will be putting them in all of their running shorts. I do wish that they came in other colors. I am not a fan of the bubblegum pink, but I bought them to encourage the use of the grips.
I bought this when it came out and it is sitting there waiting until after the marathon, but I still hate the color as much now as when I first saw it. I saw a woman wearing this already (!) (?) in the NYC half marathon and all I could think was "that is such a dumb looking jacket". Way too fluffy and my burly running partner in no way should be forced into pastels in the men's version! I hate this jacket.
I am about 5'0 110 lbs this fit me a little strange its very long and slimmer cut than most other quarter zips i have. I got a small I am keeping it because I love the color and the design, Im just getting it tailored. The fabric quality could be better
I was excited seeing this for the first time. It is a bright neon pink, but darker and more vibrant than the photo. The fit is quite slim. I am 33.5x28x35 and it fits well through the chest and shoulders, and snug from low on the waist to the bottom hem. The shirt is quite long: I am 5'3 and the shirt falls 3 inches down my thigh. The sleeve length is just perfect for my orangutan arms. I am concerned about the zipper underneath the chin. It would have been better if it had been covered to avoid abrasion of my neck when I look down. The inside of the zipper is beefy with no sharp edges as everything is nicely finished and even overengineered, so probably no chafing there. I will need to test it on a sweaty long run and give the final verdict on whether it is possible to wear this during the marathon itself.
love the color!!!! I felt the medium fits a little too perfect but the large is too long. I will probably keep the large. If the women's was a little looser in the back/chest area , it would be perfect. I like things loose. I also like that the mens & womens stripe is a different color.
Another fantastic pair of Spiderman trainers that my 3 year old was very impressed with. An added bonus is that these were available in a half size. This is my 9 th pair of adidas trainers that I have bought for my son. The main reasons I continue to stay with the brand is the quality of the shoes for wear and tear, the spiderman branding is so cool, and the simple fact you can remove the insole and check the sizing using the Adifit system printed on the insole to ensure that the shoes are always a perfect fit.
First brought this in orange size small. A little loose but still looked gdood. Ordered it in the blue and green in xs and the fit was more snug and fitted. I like both fits, depends on your preference if you like loose or fitted. No ironing needed :D
Since I am running Boston this year for the first time, I wanted to swag up with all the gear. I bought shorts, a sports bra, the training shirt, and a race shirt. The only thing left was the jacket. I waited forever before buying the jacket and only did so with a coupon code. It arrived and I was pleased that the pink accent was not antacid pink but was hot pink. That being said, I still abhor pink and don't understand why manufacturers always thing women want pink on everything. The jacket fit well (true to size) and was great quality. I loved the mandarin collar and the embroidery. What I could not get over was THE COLOR. The color is HORRENDOUS. I understand Adidas wanted to go retro and harken back to the good ol' days but seriously?? I had the jacket hanging in my bedroom for 2 weeks trying to will myself to allow the colors to grow on me. It just was not happening. It had to go back. It was just too ugly. I will just have to get another jacket from another manufacturer and run hard so I can BQ again to get a better jacket. Anything would be better than this because the colors can't possibly get any worse (ok, it could get a little worse -- they could make the entire jacket pink, but they would never do that to the men!).
They're short alright, but that's ok as I generally wear cycling shorts as a base layer. I had to ask for advice when ordering as I didn't understand the S2, S3 sizing chart and was advised to order the S2 for size 6-8. They are fine but if you're even a bit self conscious I would probably recommend going for the longer length S3.
Adidas, why? Yes, I'm a girl but pastel and pink? I want the same colors the boys get. Every time. I bought my jacket 2013, 2014, and 2015... But 2016 is where I have to draw the line. Goodness, bring back the primary colors!
I bought these shorts for my daughter she has had several pairs of M10's but this is the first time she's had a inseam length to choose we measured previous pairs & went for the 3" when they came she liked the pattern & the colours but the shorts are so "short" at 6 foot+ they just didn't fit a lot shorter than her other models
I am disappointed in the quality of this long sleeve. I 1st purchased the medium and the shoulder area fit very big and didn't line up with my arms. I returned it and reordered a small. It was so short and had the same issue with the shoulders only the entire shirt was smaller everywhere else. Needless to say I returned that one as well. Not to mention you could barely see the Boston logo. They chose a light silvery grey for that and I must say that's a bad choice. As a Boston marathon qualifier and participant I am proud of that logo and want it to be seen and noticed when I wear it. Poor choice Adidas! (Fyi I'm a fit 5'6 135lb woman)
This shoe is probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever bought. Comfort is very important because I work in retail and am on my feet nine hours, five days a week. This shoe is worth the money for runners or people who are constantly on their feet.
The fit is perfect. I'm 5'10 126 lbs generally wear small. Bought small fits exactly as a small fits. Nice length. Color is amazing. I like that the Bostonnarathon logo is there but tasteful. Beautiful shirt
I've been wearing these to workout in everyday for 2-3 weeks and i have no complaints. They are lightweight, have the perfect amount of cushioning (especially the heel), and fit me perfectly. Even after these weeks of running and heavy weights the shoes still look brand new. Very durable.
I bought this sports bra because it was the closest one to the Supernova climacool version I bought a few years ago. It is the absolute best sports bra I've ever owned. I wear an XL and it fit great, covered the cleavage appropriately and while I wouldn't say it "looked" just like a regular bra, it is the closest I've ever seen to NOT being a uniboob bra. Lol. This bra is almost identical, except it is a little lower cut and shows more cleavage than I care to have in my sports bra. I will definitely wear and it and it is a comfortable bra, but the older version is my preferred sports bra. Hope they make an adjustment on the next version. We larger women should at least have one made for us.
I am so disappointed. Got the jacket, tank, and then these capi pants....and the pants are a different color! In the picture it looks like the same blue as the rest of the items...but in reality...they are green and the rest of the items are blue. It does not match and looks terrible. Why would the pants be a totally different color???
For something that is supposed to be a running tight, these are not what I would have expected. The material is very thin and revealing. They offer no support or even mild compression. There are also a lot of added features like zippers and logos that cause chafing. In addition, I have long legs and these were too short. I would not recommend these.
The climalite run tee lives up to its online description, great shape, not too tight, not too baggy so need to feel conscious when working out. Fabric is light and sweat-wicking keeping me cool throughout my workouts. I have several as it is a staple in my workout wardrobe.
