What a let down! I've been working toward the day that I would cross the finish line of the Boston Marathon since 1980... and figured if I ever did I would treat myself to an official jacket. But, seriously, hospital green?!? I thought the Boston Marathon colors were blue and gold. Such a disappointment. ADIDAS = All Day I Dream About Some jacket other than this one.
I purchased this jacket because I wanted something to remember the 2016 Boston Marathon. I worked hard to get to Boston! I would have preferred the traditional Blue/Yellow. It's what the Boston Marathon is recognized by. The fit of the jacket is great! I agree that the traditional color jacket should be available for purchase and if you want to add another color themed jacket that would be fine. I liked the teal but not crazy about the pink stripes. I think black or grey would have been a better choice. Not all females like pink!JJ
Love the fit, the styling and quality, including the awesome embroidery. The jacket is an icon for anyone lucky enough to get a spot in America's iconic race. I've run the Boston Marathon the last few years, and talking with other runners over the course of the marathon weekend, the general consensus is --- "great jacket, but what's up with the colors?" I even heard a group of runners saying that they wouldn't even be buying one this year because they're not blue and yellow (like 2013 and a few years before). Don't change a thing with how you make the jacket, but Please consider a classic blue/yellow back into the rotation! You would really please alot of "regulars" that love the race and wear the jacket with pride.
I did not like that Adidas opted for pink on the woman's jacket so I -- a 5'4", 116lb woman -- bought the men's small and had it tailored. I shortened and narrowed the arms and tapered the body. The jacket is long, coming down to the top of my thighs and covering my butt. It couldn't be shortened due to pocket placement/the drawcord at the bottom, but I don't mind it long. I think buying and tailoring the jacket is a good option for any woman not interested in the pink. The attached picture is the tailored version.
It came time to replace my Nike Free running shoes and I thought that I'd give the Adidas Solar Boosts a try. I average 30-35 miles a month and prefer a light and flexible shoe so the Solar Boost has been a good choice. I've noticed the arch support is not as high as the Free but it's not a big deal for me. I hope to get 300 miles out of these.
The shorts look really cool, and felt okay all during my 22-mile long run, but later that day, my wife was horrified to find the pattern of holes in the liner emblazoned on a certain part of my anatomy afterwards. This took the better part of a week to clear up, during which time there was no joy for Mighty Casey. Suffice to say, I'll be using these for shorter runs in the future.
Fits perfectly so it's not too tight or loose. Very light material, and stays put when you're doing upside down poses during yoga. Lots of compliments and I am very excited that they released it in more colors.
I ordered an M size. It fits me well. But, the manufacture inspection is in question. There are loose threads in a few places, say in around the zipper line. With the Adidas brand name on it, and a $110 price tag, I thought it should be made more carefully.
Very light weight shirt; not meant for serious cold without layering. The Boston logo is small and hard to see; if you're wearing a Boston shirt the logo should shout out your accomplishment. Fits very well and is comfortable; I like the color too.
Another fantastic pair of Spiderman trainers that my 3 year old was very impressed with. An added bonus is that these were available in a half size. This is my 9 th pair of adidas trainers that I have bought for my son. The main reasons I continue to stay with the brand is the quality of the shoes for wear and tear, the spiderman branding is so cool, and the simple fact you can remove the insole and check the sizing using the Adifit system printed on the insole to ensure that the shoes are always a perfect fit.
First brought this in orange size small. A little loose but still looked gdood. Ordered it in the blue and green in xs and the fit was more snug and fitted. I like both fits, depends on your preference if you like loose or fitted. No ironing needed :D
This hoodie fits true to size, is made of high quality materials and is a great overall product. Definitely not inexpensive but if you are on the fence, go for it as this is one of the better products Adidas put out this year.
I appreciate that the jackets have sewn designs now (old ones were printed on and didn't last as long) but I agree with those saying offer blue and yellow every year plus a special color for the year. That way in years like this when the colors are awful there is another option. I have an orange/black from 2012 that I'm happy with so will be buying the supernova jacket this year. http://m.adidas.com/us/boston-marathon-supernova-storm-jacket/AO3841.html
Adidas: Please offer the jacket in traditional Boston blue/yellow colors along with you choice for the annual color change. Imagine how disappointed fans of any sport would be to find they couldn't get apparel in their team's colors. Now imagine how hard many runners work to get to Boston only to be disappointed in the long-sought-after prize of the Boston celebration jacket.
This shoe is probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever bought. Comfort is very important because I work in retail and am on my feet nine hours, five days a week. This shoe is worth the money for runners or people who are constantly on their feet.
I've been wearing these to workout in everyday for 2-3 weeks and i have no complaints. They are lightweight, have the perfect amount of cushioning (especially the heel), and fit me perfectly. Even after these weeks of running and heavy weights the shoes still look brand new. Very durable.
Thankfully, I will end up saving some money at Boston this year. All my hard work to qualify for Boston and buy the famous Marathon jacket, and this is what they offer. I get offering a different color jacket every year for the people who want to buy one, but they should offer a blue and yellow jacket every year as another option. It could be worse, it could be the my little pony version they are selling for ladies. Please find a way to release the proper and known color scheme for the Boston Marathon. Adidas, it is not too late to correct this error.
I agree 100% with WittenbergRunner, this is a very nice hoodie. I ordered size M - no issues, very comfortable and fits perfectly on me (5' 10.5", 170 pounds). I agree that it would have been nice if it had said 'qualifier' but I am very happy with the Boston Marathon logo. The stripes definitely make it stand out. I've only worn it a couple times now and already had a few people ask about it. Would recommend!
I ordered the yellow, size fits exactly as I was expecting, feels light as a feather and very comfortable to wear. I think the blue Boston Marathon logo looks very nice with the yellow. The only slight negative for me is that it is a little more see through than I was expecting. Just be aware that it is more see through than it appears in the listing.
If not for the material, these would be great shorts. The inner brief is fantastic but the outer material isn't soft. On a 10 mile run, the shorts chaffed on my inner thigh at the bottom of the shorts.
I bought this sports bra because it was the closest one to the Supernova climacool version I bought a few years ago. It is the absolute best sports bra I've ever owned. I wear an XL and it fit great, covered the cleavage appropriately and while I wouldn't say it "looked" just like a regular bra, it is the closest I've ever seen to NOT being a uniboob bra. Lol. This bra is almost identical, except it is a little lower cut and shows more cleavage than I care to have in my sports bra. I will definitely wear and it and it is a comfortable bra, but the older version is my preferred sports bra. Hope they make an adjustment on the next version. We larger women should at least have one made for us.
The climalite run tee lives up to its online description, great shape, not too tight, not too baggy so need to feel conscious when working out. Fabric is light and sweat-wicking keeping me cool throughout my workouts. I have several as it is a staple in my workout wardrobe.
Needed a jacket as my running is getting a bit more serious now and the temp is dropping. Looked around several places but the styles were an issue or the price. Found this jacket and it ticks all the boxes. Looks good, fits nice and best of all the price. Plus with the discount code they offer by signing up to the Adidas newsletter just made it impossible to say no.
Great jacket if your out running during the dark winter nights. The fit is quite large so if your normally a medium ie 38 chest you might be better off with the small size. Overall very happy with this jacket and would certainly recommend it.
I was excited to receive this in the mail yesterday. It took a bit longer to ship than expected (5 days including processing) but not bad for free shipping. Like most others I was worried about the color, which seemed on the bright side in pictures, but my wife and I were pleasantly surprised! Adidas has a great return policy, so my advice is to order and check it out first before dismissing. The only issue I need to report is a defect in the stitching in the left arm. There is a harness to keep the liner in place, but it was not aligned properly, making it difficult to get my arm through the sleeve. However I have a new jacket on order with a discount applied - hopefully this minor issue is resolved.
