Absolutely great to run in.Unfortunately on my 2nd pair inside a month and about to return them as well, as the tongue is separating from the shoe due poor quality stitching. Exactly the same fault as 1st pair. What a shame as the comfort and fit were perfect.

The shoes so good for this price, colour mixing well between black and blue.

Bought these shoes a week ago as I wanted to try a boost in a run. Wasn't sure about the toe box as the Techfit material seemed a little cheap. But I have to say I was wrong, I ran three times with these shoes and the boost sole was awesome! I also thought the tech fit was very comfortable.
The impact on my legs was a lot less, which allowed me to push my runs closer together. All in all great shoe so far!

Feels like walking on air, fits like a sock. These shoes are amazing when on the gym they reduce impact on your knees and ankles - 5 stars!

Rated 5 out of 5 by gravitygirl these run small
In bought these since I have the energy boost shoes and absolutely love them and one can feel how light and springy they are. I have run for 37 years and competed nationally and internationally for a number of years, so I have worn lots of shoes. I don't know how the response boost feel since these are a lower end shoe compared to the energy boost. My only frustration is that I ordered a pair of the response boost for my husband who wears a size 13. I ordered a size 14 and they were too small. For me the energy boost ran true to size. I find however, that in adidas clothes as well, there is a lot of size variability and things often run small.

Rated 5 out of 5 by L2000 PERFECT FOR ZIG ZAGGING THROUGH THE CONCRETE JUNGLE
To be honest I was a bit skeptical at first. I owned a couple of Adidas shoes in the past: Micropacers which are more of a fashion statement and the Bounce which weren't comfortable at all. I read amazing reviews on Adidas' boost technology and with my cross training shoe nearing its end it was time to take the plunge…
As soon as my package arrived I quickly put them on and start moving around my house. I purchased these a .5 size larger than what I wear in the famous Portland based footwear company; that's always been the rule to live by. I recommend not sizing up on this model, with the Energy Boost 2 yes, size up! but not this model.
I ran out of my house on my way to work. The closest train station is about 1/2 mile away. I zoomed passed a bunch of park slope hipsters that are consumed with their instagramming/snap-chatting with ease. Up the stairs into the crowded F train and off into the city where my job requires me to be on my feet the whole day.
After work I head over to the gym and get my WOD started. Rowing, Goblet over head squats, Burpees, Toes to bar and a 2 mile treadmill run. I felt great afterwards, tired from the day but not achy.
I'm 5'8, weigh 190 lbs, my foot is a bit on the wide side. There's a generous amount of room by the toes and the sole absorbed all of the impact I put them through with the HIIT workout. These shoes have a great spring to them. I would have been better with my true size but c'est la vie. I'm very impressed by the three stripes. I gotta say these are turning out to be a "Lun*r Killer". I'll test out the boost 2's next week.

My wife ordered these shoes for me for my birthday in my usual Supernova size, 12.5. In Energy Boosts I wear a 13, and needed to go up to this size in the Response, as well. The upper of this shoe is made of Adidas's tech fit fabric, which has the same feel as a running tech shirt. This might be one of the greatest changes ever made to a running shoe: in some respects it allows the shoe to fit your foot rather than fitting your foot to a shoe. Additionally, the Boost sole has the same added energy return as the Energy Boost, so running feels quick and light. My wife ordered the light blue and black color combination for me which is fun without being too flashy. Thanks, Adidas, for continuing to put out great Boost shoes. You can never go wrong with an Adidas running shoe!

I was lucky enough to win a pair of these at Parkrun...
Then I loved them so much I bought three pairs!!! Honestly they are that good!!!!
I have purchased one size up as I usually do with Adidas & I am not disappointed.
I have a wide foot & that's my preference.
It's like running on springs when you wear Boost trainers in fact once you've tried these you won't want anything else.
I've just completed my first half marathon & it was like running in my slippers!

I have ran for awhile now. I've tried many different shoes, some more expensive than these and these are one of the best I have ever used for running or walking. The other shoes I liked about as much were the Adidas Bounce. Anyway, these are great shoes. In addition, like everyone else is saying, you'd better order one size up as they do run small.
