micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
The back of these shoes is way too high, it caused a blister on my heel within the first 10 minutes of a run. I had to take them off to get back home. Other than the back of the shoe being designed horribly, they fit like a glove. Although they did hurt my arch after running as well. Not impressed.
Good for concrete and track running, comfy and lightweight. To be honest I expected them to be 'bouncier' that a regular running shoe due to the blades, but I don't feel any noticeable difference. You also can't really take them off of a smooth surface at all. I sometimes run along the canal on a surface of small stones and you can hear what sounds like the blades cracking/snapping as you hit the ground which makes you feel uncomfortable, as if they're going to break. Small stones also get wedged in between the blades and you can hear them scrape on the ground as you run.
One of the best shoes I've run in for awhile. Fresh out the box comfort. Good support, while remaining lightweight. Anyone who regularly gets adidas knows the 1/2 size adjustment (U.S.) so the fit was perfect. I've had a hard time taking them off and instead leaning towards buying a second pair.
The back of the shoes is too high for me. It caused blisters on both achilles after 10 min of running outside. I had to fold them over to get back home. I had them altered and the back cut and lowered and now they fit perfectly. This is my first Adidas pair, I owe 5 other running shoes , different brand that never caused any issues, even brand new.
Well I usually wear 7.5 when I ordered this , it felt like 6.. I put it next to any 7.5 showes and it looked tiny.. I think probably you have to be at least size 10+ to be able to wear this as its design make it look even smaller !!
Maybe it's just my feet, but the backs are way too high and really irritate my heels. Also, though I do have naturally flat feet, after a few blocks in these my arches kill. Otherwise the sneakers are quite comfy on the balls of my feels and pretty cool looking.
THE MOST COMFORTABLE RUNNING/WALKING SHOE EVER! I have high arches and a very particular toe on my left foot. I have tried several different brands and styles but all were lacking in one way or another. On my way to buy the Ultra Boost I stumbled on to these and really liked the design of the Color Core Black / Black (BB4017) Pureboost X. This shoe is like no other shoe I have every encountered. It literally fits like a glove. I always size up in a running shoe and did the same with this one and for me it was a good decision. The shoe has a glove like feel with amazing arch support and it's like walking on air. Plus the design is really cool! what other shoe has a floating arch support? Good job Adidas.
I just ordered this pair and another pair of ultra boosts. i really wanted to keep the PureBoostx but the back of the shoe digs into my achilles tendon- its pretty irritating. The suspended arch support is different but nice and fits pretty snug. overall they seem like a great shoe but unfortunately I cant get over the the back of the shoe digging in to my achilles. so disappointed because i really wanted to keep these.
I really wanted to like this shoe. The design is cute. I have slim feet and they fit like a glove, which I loved. They were lightweight. However, they just rode up way too high on the back of my heel. It irritated my achilles tendon, and I could tell that wearing them for a long time would be uncomfortable. I would love to have the shoe if the shoe could be reworked to ride lower on the heel, like other running shoes.
The shoes fit well though they are on the narrow side since my feet are wide. They are comfortable due to the upper material being able to stretch. I am able to wear them for long periods of time without discomfort.
I have accessory navicular and found this shoe supports the tender areas of my feet. Some shoes feel like extra strain is placed on my arches when I run. These shoes don't affect me negatively when I stand for long periods of time, walk, or run. They are super comfy!
I like this shoes, because: 1. They fits perfect on my foot; 2. the midsole is freaking comfortable; 3. looks good and foot is not sweating. This shoes get two stars from me, because the design of this running shoes is not unfinished. After one week synthetic sidewall panels was started to touc a midsole and making a noise and vibrations i can feel when I'm making a move. This is not good and unpleasant.
I like them because they have a cushion and I walk and stand a lot so it had a bounce to my steps and it soothed my feet as I walked and had little pain compared to flat shoes and I think I won't ever buy any other shoes!!
Actually like the design and concept but where the exterior plastic sides with the 3 stripes meet the mesh part of the plastic cuts into the foot. I though I could wear it out and with use will break shoes in and somehow soften this area but no chance - longer I wore em the worse they cut into my foot eventually taking them off in sheer agony
Runs REALLY big. I ordered my usual size, 6.5, and when I received them, I thought they sent me a half or one full size bigger by mistake. There is at least an inch between my toes and the tip of the shoes. I loved the design, how sturdy yet light they are, and everything else about them, so was so sad that I had to return them. I totally would have exchanged for size 6, but all the smaller sizes were already sold out. Super bummed. Don't get me wrong. These shoes are wonderful. Just not properly sized. I do recommend to visit actual shops if you can to get a right size.
I loved the adios 2's, but the toe box was a bit cramped. These 3's are seriously the best shoes I have ever owned. They are a perfect blend of support/cushioning, and road feel/minimalism. I have owned these shoes about two weeks now and they have been the sole reason for me taking my training from 3 to 5 days a week. If you want perfection in a shoe, stop right here.
Used these on 50km trail race and they held up well. Having run in Adizeros before I got away without even wearing them in. No blisters, no issues at all. That said - had the trail been wet, I would have been in all sorts.
This is a mixed review: I normally wear 9.5 running shoes, but these fit great with a size 10. They are very comfortable & provide a lot of support and a snug fit. This was my second pair of Springblades, but I am returning them because the color is wrong. From the description & pictures the look like a bright Red color. However when I received them, they were definitely a Hot Pink / Florescent Orange kind of color - Definitely NOT Red. **I might try again with a different color**
I read alot of reviews about these runners before buying them, people said to order a size up. I am usually a UK9 but ordered a UK9.5, they are a tight (not uncomfortable) fit so a UK10 would have been perfect. I love the styling and colour. I have done 70km so far in these runners and have enjoyed the runs, nice light shoe. I would definitely buy these again.
I have used this trainer for a 5K treadmill run most Mondays for approximately 12-18 months i train at a 17 minute 5K so lets say they have been used at a reasonable pace. This Monday i got off the treadmill to notice that both shoes had snapped clean in half. For a product costing upwards of £100 i don't think this is acceptable. Great trainer if you're going to run slowly but anyone who is going to give them some grief then don't bother.
If you're on a budget and want to get in on the boost action, this is the shoe for you. IMHO This is the second most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Im talking waking on clouds comfy. Right up there with my AM90's. I highly recommend.
I have worn the Adios Boost 1 three times, Adios Boost 2 once, and the Adios Boost 3 once. The forefoot of the 3 is better than the 2 but still not as good as the 1. I like that is is wider near the big toe but the curve on the outside portion of the shown is still too narrow. I had the size up 1/2 size in order for my little toes to not get jammed--which made the shoe feel like "good". I also had to order from the IS as Canada didn't have the 1/2 size. Narrow does not mean high performance. If they widened the outside of the forefront of the shoe would be closer to perfect.
Bought a pair when they first came out. Loved them until oneday I was walking in them and the blades got caught in a grate and the shoe snapped in half both of them. What can I do.. paid alto of money for two shoes now in halfs
Nice to see Adidas rolling out non-Boost running shoes. I don't personally think Boost is a great material for training, especially for recreational runners. This Bounce material is essentially like a dense EVA foam. It's a bit heavy, but the upper is light, utilising a lot of features seen in adizero shoes (light mesh, tireana 'suede'). The material isn't really bouncy, in fact to get a good energy return from it you'd probably need to put a good amount of weight or pressure on them to activate any of that potential, but unlike Boost they are stable. Great for beginning runners, for sure. I wear 9.5 in Adidas runners, which are a bit big for my foot in general but accommodate foot splay and swelling so I can't say for sure whether these fit exactly as other 9.5 Adidas as I alwats have leeway. They don't fit remarkably different however.
Previously ran in the Boston Boost for general training and decided that the Adizero Adios Boost was next to try. Having had this shoe for 11 days covering just under 100 miles and including a marathon, this is one I will definitely continue to use. Training in the Adios Boost feels so effortless. It feels incredibly lightweight but responsive and enough underfoot to provide plenty of cushioning for the roads. I found I went up half size to the Boston which suits me. This is my new shoe of choice for training and racing. Another pair will be ordered very soon. Great work Adidas.
