I had such high expectations about this shoe, after a .5 change in size for being too narrow, I switched to 11, used it once and now I am unfortunately unable to return. I own another 3 pair of Boosts and this is the most uncomfortable by far, the arch pain the inner plastic body of the shoe causes makes this unwearable. 180 dollars down the drain.
Got these pure boost busenitz recently and they are amazing! Boost sole is what you expect, comfortable and responsive. I have the red suede and it is gorgeous with its stitch detailing. Only 2 complaints. The first is that you need to order at least 1/2 a size or even 1 size down as they are pretty big and loose fitting. These run larger than nmd's would. The second complaint is what others have said before in that the thin leather material around the heel is pressed very thin and sharply. You gotta be careful if you plan to wear low ankle socks because the abrasion will really wear on your heels. I didn't have any cuts but definitely felt like I was reaching that point. All in all still a recommended buy just based on a beautiful boosted classic!
Upon opening the box, I absolutely loved the shoes. The design was sleek and stylish and they seemed very sturdy. I was so excited to put them on. But, once I did, I grew very disappointed. The shoe fit well length wise and were super comfortable. But width wise, it felt as if I had clown shoes on. They were so wide and bulky that I couldn't wear them with any outfit without them looking ridiculous. It wasn't because the shoes were the wrong size (I have small feet and wear a Big Kids size 4 1/2), but because of the design. Unfortunately, I returned the shoes for a full refund.
I bought these shoes for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved them. Shipping, however, wasn't great since I received the shoes after his birthday but they arrived in perfect condition. Overall I would order again but with much more time to spare in order to receive my items on time.
I love love love these shoes. They are smaller than the picture makes them look, but in the best way possible. they are extremely comfortable, much like walking on memory foam. the arch support is outstanding. Two things that did not bother me but might be a problem for others: 1.) the mesh is very thin. if you are looking for a shoe to wear in the winter, this is probably not for you 2. the back does come up very high. i can definitely see how this might be problematic/a cause for blisters for some people. i have a pretty arched tendon back there so it's not a problem at all for me. Another thing to note, the bottom mesh is not connected to the sole in the middle. this is not a problem at all it's just not something i noticed before purchasing. (Also the aglets are pink and blue) Overall, this is probably my favorite sneaker i've ever purchased. i looove these shoes!
The new look was out of this world and had to try them for college baseball. The ultra boost in the heel is beyond comfortable and hugs your foot very nicely. Very light as well, forms to your foot and very good grip.
Great shoes and awesome all black look! Have only worn them a few times, but now I can't. While tightening my laces, the little tongue at the top with the lace goes through ripped. It's a thin, almost foam feeling. Very disappointed.
I love these shoes! I'm training for football and had a pair of nikes and the comfort level was night and day. Really recommend these for quick lateral movements, balance based workouts, and lifts. Extremely comfortable and well worth the money. Still wish I got the navy blue and red ones when I had the chance :,(
Never received so many compliments! The pop of color in the red is perfect for any outfit. Today I'm wearing them with faux leather leggings a black tee and jean jacket. SO comfortable for the gym, running, or drinks. Obsessed.
It's a very well made shoe. The suede on this is fantastic. Very recommended. Be wary on the sizing though. I have somewhat narrow, flat feet, wear an 8 in sambas, but I found this model to fit a 1/2 size big. The arch support in these are pretty good for a medium, non aggressive arch. Again, recommended
15 yr old got blisters on back of ankles, she wanted to see if she could get used to but the shoe ripped within 2 weeks just wearing around school so we sent it back. Sad because she loved them and would've been comfortable besides blisters, they just come up to high in the back.
Only one complaint... the back/top of the shoe rubs against my heel. Have to wear these shoes with taller socks or they'll rub your heels raw. Other than that, these shoes are awesome. Super comfortable (as long as I'm wearing the right socks), great to run in, and they look great.
This is my third pair of these same shoes (same color as well). Each of these pairs lasted 10+ years. I didn't wear these everyday, but they were worn 'regularly.' I have over 10+ pairs of Adidas. Solid quality. Design is superb. What else do I need to say ? They are a classic.
Bought these because I have the black and gray ones and love them! Unfortunately, these rubbed the back of my heel so bad I got a blister, and they had orange specks of paint or something on them. I am thoroughly disappointed because usually, these are good quality. Probably won't buy any more shoes again.
Love these shoes. Super comfortable and stylish. Some of the glue shows at the toe, making it slightly lesser quality than I had hoped, and it is a bit hard to slide your foot into them because of the narrow opening. Overall, amazing cool shoes worth the price.
Perfection -- I've worn the original Ultraboost or the UltraboostST in my past three marathons. Something made be decide to try #uncaged. BEST. SHOE. EVER. Has everything the others do in cushion but my entire foot has truly found its happy place -- also affords much better opportunity for ankle flexion ... same sole as the other models which do fine in rain (e.g. BOS 2015). I'm sure I'll have to get a pair in red too!
Very well made and I love the red. Suede is nice and I like the feel of the sole. They are super comfortable right away as compared to Sambas, which I've been wearing for years. They always seem to require a break-in period, but still are well worth it. Anyway, the Jeans shoes are very comfortable right away IF you are wearing them a bit loose, like loose enough laced up that you can slip them on and off without needing to unlace them. Which is how I will mostly wear them. If I wanted to wear them a bit more snugly for whatever reason, I feel like a breaking in period would then be required because the tongue is actually connected to the body of the shoe, which I didn't know--it wasn't specified on the website and you couldn't tell from the pictures that this was the case. The issue with the tongue being connected to the body is that if you tighten the shoe up, the tongue folds and bunches up a bit where it meets the body and it's not very comfortable. It's not horrible, but I think if I were to wear my shoes like this all the time, it would probably not be an issue after a few weeks of breaking them in. All in all, a cool shoe.
Had the pure boosts before this, these surpass those in comfort which tells you a lot given how comfortable the pure boosts already are. Love the style of the uncaged version too bad the other colors are sold out.
So awesome that Adidas brought back a classic. Keep the colors coming. It's a bummer when it's the same 3 colors (black, navy and red). Just purchased my 3rd pair in less than 2 months. This shoe is stylish and comfortable. When I used to play indoor soccer I used this shoe and I would go through a pair in no time. Then it was up to the sporting good store to buy the newest color. Looking or purple or royal blue next (I have green, lime (neon yellow) and orange is on the way with red in the cross hairs). Gazelles are perfection in suede! Now bring back the old Tobaccos!
I own 3 pairs of these shoes. I love my first 2 pairs that have more of the cloth type material. It stretches just enough but fits my foot like a glove. My 3rd pair I don't really care for. The top is the mesh material. It is to stretchy and my foot feels like I have zero support on the sides. I love the elevated arch and boost. I feel like I'm walking on air. I wish they would put some piece of support at the toes because when I where them to the gym my feet slide forward with circuit training. I know there are trainers similar to these but I tried them and didn't love them. I hope they make another pair black and white mix for the fall. Mine from last year are the favorite pair of tennis shoes I've ever owned!
Different than typical Weightlifting Shoe. The Boa Laces are very nice (easy to get in and out of shoe). Very stable platform and solid during OLY Lifts. I would still have preferred a mid-foot strap for these. It does take a few lifts to get the shoe really broke in and snug. I get many complements about the look of the shoes. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase.
I am a huge fan of the original Adidas Ultra Boost running shoes. Having said that the only reason I'm not giving this shoe 5 stars is because the new elastic band they have added above where the shoe traditionally would stop has a seam running down the middle of it that comes to an end at the top and it destroys the back of my ankles when I run. There is only one pair of socks I own that are high enough sit in that same area and cushion it so for now band aids it is.
Best shoe I own! I own a few pair of nice shoes and these are the go to when I need a comfortable pair. I just wish that adidas would have more in stock. I've been on the website for two weeks straight trying to purchase the Original Ultra Boost.
I just bought this today at store. Love this shoes so much. One of the most comfortable shoes I've had. The middle part hold my feet so nice. I want to buy another pair differeny colors..waiting until sale ..hehe
It's a great shoe until you make a sharp turn, then your foot slips off the insole and rips the styrofoam looking material away from the knit part of the shoe. The comfortability of the shoe is tremendous but I feel that adidas could have done a little more to ensure this doesn't happen.
